Convenient to the beach. Good restaurant. Only complaint was that the A/C did not work real well.

very convenient for amenities, parking and tours. Close to the beach, helpful staffs. A little hard to find from the main street, but worth the effort. Decent price too for what is offered. recommended.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. First of all the restaurant is AMAZING. The tuna and filet mignon is about as good as it gets.' The staff is great. The hotel had internet for the guest use. Close to the bus stop. Enjoyed my stay as a solo middleaged female and felt very safe. Hotel was very clean and quiet. Steps from the beach front. They delivered a very important message the moment that I arrived. Hotel has a dining room but there are many alternates steps away.

I seriously can't complain about the Poseidon... Clean room, clean bathroom, cold A/C. The only critique I have is that if you want to walk from your room to the front desk or from the front desk to your room in the rain, you are guaranteed to get wet. Other than that, I had a very good trip and recommend this hotel.

The mapped location is not correct. the hotel is actually in a better location than the map suggests and is in fact in the center of town providing a perfect location for accessing the beach or town. The pool bar was never open while we stayed and the internet access is barely skypeable but I still recommend the place.

We liked Hotel Poseidon and would stay again if we were in Jaco. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean, simple and comfortable with decent hot showers. Great location in Jaco, close to beach and bars.

Nice little place, right in the center of Jaco. Recommended restaurant downstairs, room was adequate. Excellent sports bar upstairs for a nightcap / watching Copa Mundial.

The hotel is located just down the street from the beach. It is near all the activities and restaurants in Jaco. It also proved as a good base camp for day trips to Quepos and Los Suenos. The hotel has 2 restaurants, one of only 2 in Jaco with A/C. The food is outstanding! We ate all over Jaco and kept coming back to the Poseiden. We were at this hotel in Dec, 2009 for 4 days. This hotel is NOT a 3 star hotel. It is small and about 1/2 a block from the beach on one of the busiest streets that lead down to it. The front of the hotel is actually a small restaurant with the lobby located at the back of it. To get to the check-in desk we had to drag our luggage right by people who […] were eating their dinner. The pool is VERRRY small, not much bigger than a bath tub, and surrounded by buildings so that very little sun actually gets to it. It is crammed behind the restaurant with no real room around it to lounge or sit. The room was a diappointment: not as clean and nice as expected - the bed was not comfortable: the mattress being thin and lumpy. The view outside our second story room was a not very clean stucco wall! There were only 2 towels in the washroom and the shower had VERY poor pressure (if any) with no HOT WATER!!! We were allowed only 1 package of coffee for our coffee maker for the entire 4 day stay - if we wanted to make more we had to pay for the coffee. The 1 computer in the lobby was almost right in the restaurant, only worked 1/2 the time and the area around it was dirty. We had been told that there was a secure parking lot across the street and that it would cost us $3.00 per night to park there. When we got there we were told that it would cost 6.00 per night. All in all not a nice stay - I have stayed at hostels that were better than this place. Definitely NOT good value for the money!!! Läs mer

Hotel is located two blocks from the beach and one block from the main strip with the clubs, bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking across the street for $6/day (very reasonable).

Location was excellent, staff helpful. Building is old, shower head horrible, only trickling water, but I was staying for 1 night only so didn't make a fuss. "included breakfast" was very basic, opted for the menue breakfast which was very good.

Hotel acogedor... habitaciones limpias pequeñas pero en muy buen estado... lugar bonito para pasar la noche en pareja...

El único comentario sobre la habitación es lo ruidoso del aire acondicionado no me dejo dormir cómodamente y al día siguiente tenia la salida de la competencia la ruta de los conquistadores ese fue el único fallo por lo demás me gusto el hotel.
