"Wasn't beach front"
The overall stay was great! The outdoor pool was closed due to renovations and we booked an ocean view room and we received room that over looked the side street and a neighboring hotel was disappointed! The staff were helpful and friendly our stay was pleasant. The parking garage was very small and hard even to park a small car. "Great room"
The hotel was great and the service was equally that. Only bad thing was there were 2 phones in our room and neither of them worked.Verifierad gästrecension
"Good Last Minute Choice"
We picked Long Bay Resort after we left Greensboro, NC heading towards Myrtle Beach. We were looking for a cheaper, yet still nice hotel to stay at for two nights on our little getaway trip. The only two "complaints" about the hotel that I have is: #1 the parking garage was "slacking" to say the least; the parking spots were EXTREMELY small/narrow, […] and there was maybe 15 parking places per floor of the garage. #2 The ceilings and floors are apparently extremely thin; I safely make this assumption, because I was woken-up numerous times both nights by "pleasure screams" coming from the couple staying above us. Overall, those two minute complaints are easily overlooked! Just expect to have to take an elevator to get to level your vehicle is parked on, and maybe the ceilings/floors are thick/insulated well and it was just the decibel level of the couple above us (at least they were enjoying themselves!!). The facility was very clean everywhere I was able to see. Housekeeping came to our room VERY early both mornings; I wouldn't say I'm complaining about that, maybe we should've been out of bed by the time they came around. Overall, I think the hotel was an excellent place to stay. I think I'm willing to stay there again myself, and also recommend Long Bay Resort to any other Hotels.com users! "Convenient to local attractions"
Long Bay Resort is located near the attractions in the area including Tanger Outlet Malls. The hotel has starbucks in the lobby area and our overall stay was pleasant. Would definitely visit again.Verifierad gästrecension

"Really Nice"
I really loved the hotel. My husband's only complaint was that there was no coffee on the room, which they addressed in the info in the room. Lol!!! However, the room was spacious and clean and the view was AWESOME!Verifierad gästrecension
"Right on the beach!"
I chose this hotel for a one night getaway and it was well worth the money! It was extremely clean and my oceanfront room had the most gorgeous view. "Will be coming back again and again"
We stayed on the first floor. We went in February which is still considered "winter", so we were under impression that pools would be closed. Of course, the outdoor ones were, but there were many guests in the indoor pools/spa. It is convenient located off of the strip and is close to the many leisure activities one would want to do. Stay was fine.The check -in attendant was through but super direct, which I guess is good but slightly condescending. The bed was uncomfortable but it did the job. "Weekend getaway"
We live about 45 minutes north in North Carolina but we thought it would be nice to stay at Myrtle Beach for the weekend. We lucked out choosing Long Bay. We loved the indoor pools including the lazy river. We had a great time at the hotel as well as the area.Verifierad gästrecension

"Happy New Year!"
Our stay was great!! The only problem was that the bathtub in the second bathroom was filthy and we had to clean it ourselves in order for the kids to use the tub. It obviously had NOT been cleaned and due to the hour we got in, we had to clean it ourselves in order for it to be usable!!! Other than that....great stay!Verifierad gästrecension

Long Bay Resort has friendly staff and clean, well-furnished rooms. However, I reserved rooms with a beach view and received only a tiny partial view....behind wires and trees. "Quick retreat!"
Would have given all 5's but our room was on the first floor and the hot water took about 3-5 min. beforeit ran in the bathroom.
