Good location, 2 story property, large rooms, but our 2 rooms on the top floor were extremely hot. The available a/c's were not capable to cool down the room en we had a tough time sleeping. Only around 4 am did the room cool down enough for us to start feeling a bit more comfortable. For one night it was bearable, but a second consecutive night would […] have been a no-no. Not so good. We arrived shortly before midnight after a 6hr drive, everyone needing to get to bed asap, to a vacant front desk, no answer to knocking & calling the # I pulled off of their website. We waited approximately 5 min - searching the #s for the neighboring hotels as we imagined we might need to find a new place & argue for our online payment to be returned […] to us in the morning when the manager drove up. There was no courtesy offered. Shower curtain was broken/ripped & leaked all over, tub needs refinishing & overall it felt like a rip-off for the $ spent. If I were the owner I wouldn't admit to it with any pride. Läs mer

The price/value ratio is not in balance

Comfortable bed, helpful staff and an excellent restaurant next door. There are some issues with cleanliness in the public areas, but overall a decent 2 star accommodation. Air conditioner barely adequate at the time of my visit..

it was just acceptable to sleep overnight. The rooms was unpleasant due to dim light, dirty carpet, and the very noisy a/c and fan. The only window was facing the corridor so it was not able to open when I slept.

This review is a complaint about my recent experience at the Travelodge in Golden BC. As result of this experience, the Travelodge brand has been severely tainted to myself and those with me during my stay. DAY ONE – Friday, December 17th On December 17th, my boyfriend and I arrived at the Travelodge for his birthday weekend. We had booked this hotel […] in particular because of its downtown location and hot tub. That night we decided to use the hot-tub but the front desk staff let us know that it was out of commission and would be fully heated in 2 hours. During the 2 hours we waited in the room, while I discovered a pleasant blood stain on my pillow. Not wanting to disrupt those with me, I quietly put it away and hoped the hot tub would open soon. After the 2 hours, we went to the, as promised “hot” tub – it was barely warm. Soon after entering, we realized we couldn’t endure the cold and we ran back to our rooms, cold, wet and short towels. DAY TWO – Saturday, December 18th After a day of skiing, we returned to the hotel with 2 friends but our keys ceased to work. I walked to the front desk with my boyfriend as our friends waited outside in the cold for us to come back. Upon arriving at the front desk, no one was there except for the other guests quickly running from the hot tub to their room. My boyfriend and I waited there for a few minutes until an intoxicated, disheveled man missing his bottom teeth, barged in and went behind the front desk. I should also note that his belt and pants were undone. Surprised by this "front desk agent" we politely explained our problem: our room keys didn't work. It took us over a half an hour to convey our problem to this confused, angry man behind the desk. He told us he was in charge of all the computers at the hotels. This man continued acting-out, and swearing effectively scaring me. If my boyfriend had not been there, I would have called the police. Eventually, this man successfully called the owner. We knew that we had to stay one night in Golden, and our concern was to be sure we had a room for that night. Through "Hotels.com" we only had two choices for hotels and at the Travel Lodge our only room choice was two double beds. We thought that that would be more comfortable than just one queen at a different hotel in town. Also, we thought that […] the hot tub would be fun. Well, the hot tub was right outside the office door -- and had been used by "kids" the previous day. That makes it less inviting. We paid $15 to $20 more than the other hotel around the corner with only one queen bed. In reality, it looked clean and would have served our needs. I might have done that knowing that we would be without a microwave oven and without a refrigerator too. But that is hindsight. Hotel room was missing tv remote although attendant did eventually find one, clock radio missing, even though room was to be smoke free could smell smoke and ash tray left on air conditioner outside window of room. Hotel needs some tender loving care.

I was not satified with this hotel at all, the service that was provided by the staff was ok but the wireless internet and the reception of the TV was something to be desired. I would not recommend staying there at all too expensive for what is provided.

室内は、掃除も行き届き、狭くなく、エアコン、バスルーム、電子レンジ、冷蔵庫だけでなく、調理用流し台まであり、カーペットの大穴は笑って許せた。しかし　不満が、あった。上の部屋で人が歩く度に、ゴトゴト、ミシミシとうるさい。更に、夜中に、ゴロゴロ、ガタガタと掃除をしているらしい騒音が続いた。又、朝食のジュースも牛乳も、明らかに水増ししているとしか考えられない薄さ(カナダの牛乳が水っぽい事は知っているがそれ以上)。安宿とは言え、限られた予算内でも基本的な点は線は守って欲しいと考える私達には合わない宿だった。

nesta região carece de bons hoteis, principalmente perto de lake louise. a cidade não ajuda e falta de opção deixa os proprietários confortaveis, deixando de aprimorar a qualidade do estabelecimento e serviços. apesar de estar 25.o C, o ar condicionado não suportava o tamanho do quarto, pois só ficava bom vazio, com as pessoas mesmo de madrugada a 10.oC […] continuava quente.
