Litet hotell med allt man behöver för en storstadssemester. Plazan utanför operan är charmig. Tänk på att retaurangerna där vet det och därför är onödigt dyra utan att maten är exceptionell.

Stayed 4 nights, given smallest room ever, paid for upgrade to biggest room they had. Room size much better but not a 4 star hotel. Offered free Wifi but did not work entire stay. Fabulous location though.

This hotel is in a great location for sight seeing. The rooms are lovely, if a bit small, very clean, breakfast was nice. Staff friendly & arranged a shuttle to airport at a great rate. The location here is the star.

Hotel Meninas is pleasantly located in a small cobbled street off a busy plaza. We found it to be quiet, but excellently located for walking around central Madrid. The Opera metro station is nearby, providing a convenient link to other parts of the city. The hotel itself is small, with contemporary decoration. The reception staff were very helpful. […] The room was a little small, but we didn´t really find this a problem for a stay of only 2 nights. One thing to bear in mind for visitors arriving by car, is that it is necessary to use a nearby car park which is quite expensive (although there is a small discount for hotel residents). The hotel is in great location, walking distance to tourist attractions. The bedroon that we had was small. However, for my husband and I was perfect since we did not have a lot of lugagge and we were out almost all day. Great service, friendly staff.

We really liked this hotel because of it's helpful staff, location and room amenities. My only fault was that we were told that a street facing room would be quiet. IT WAS NOT QUIET AT ALL! This is a historical hotel (really, they even have a plaque proudly display!). Therefore, the room is a size of a closet! It was so small that we could barely fit our luggage in the room. However, the bathroom was ok. The location is great.

Decent hotel in a good location near sights and in a nice neighborhood, but this is not a four- star hotel. It's more like a three-star hotel. The halls smelled musty, dining area was not great, many of the rooms face a concrete air shaft and one staffer made a reservation for us at a restaurant that was closed when we showed up.

Great central hotel. The room was a bit small and we couldnt get a double bed but the staff and the cleanliness of the room and hotel made up for this. The dvd rental was also a nice idea.

This place was awesome! It was just a couple of blocks from the craziness of the center and quiet. I did not have any issues with smoke but the last time I think they stayed at the hotel it was just before the law where smoking indoors was illegal. It was comfy, small and cozy. I would stay here again for sure when I go back to Madrid.

We stayed here on the last leg of our honeymoon for three nights. We loved the location of this hotel - less than a block to the metro and within 5 minutes of several major plazas in Madrid. Our room was clean enough (although there was some graffiti on our wall that they did not completely get out), but we could not keep our windows open very long […] for all of the smoke in the inner "courtyard." We would definitely recommend staying here but ask for an upper floor facing the street (it's quiet) if you are not a fan of smoke. Läs mer

Pros: Great location. Clost to the Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor. Cons: Room is too dark at night, not enough lighting. Very noisy at night. Woken up to shouting on the street several times in one night.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We used Madrid and a base to do some other traveling in Spain and they let us keep our large luggage at the hotel. We returned to the Hotel Meninas for an additional night before returning to the states. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of the city and close to the Opera Metro station.

Positive: Very convenient and quiet location; staff was very helpful. So-so: Ambiance of room was stark with no artwork, no warmth. Negative: TV remote didn't work, but most of the channels were not in English, so no big deal. Overall, my husband and I were pleased with Hotel Meninas and would return again.

Hotel Meninas had attentive personnel. I'd recommend interior rooms since they are quieter. One issue, that of not being able to control the tempturature in ones own room, was not to our liking. The corporation sets the temperature limits. This was the first time we encountered this in comparison with other hotels we stayed at in Spain.

Hotel was in a great location just metres away from the Opera metro station. Despite its central location the stree tand hotel were quiet. All of the old town sights were within easy walking distance and with the metro station at the end of the road all of the city was in easy reach. Hotel was a fantastic find. Small and friendly, service was excellent […] but not over bearing. On check in the receptionist noticed that it was my husband's birthday during our stay and on the day a selection of fruits were delivered to our room complements of the hotel. We arrived at Hotel Meninas on a layover with three suitcases. First problem was the six steps leading up to the lobby. There was no one to help with the bags, and had to drag them up the steps. I had booked a junior suite, and it was spacious and a nice modern bathroom, but otherwise basic. The windows in the hotel are old single pane glass. You can […] hear everything outside. About 2:30 AM there were men dragging barrels drown the street, then people fighting, car horns blowing, on and on. We got no sleep. Menina's is a small, nice, clean, modern hotel in Madrid. Good location on a quiet street near the Opera subway station. Rooms are nice with large bathrooms. I typically like to see new hotels, but I would go back to this hotel if returning to Madrid.

Hotel in ottima posizione per visitare la città e per i mezzi di trasporto. Pulito ed elegante. Personale molto gentile. Buon prezzo per un hotel 4 stelle centrale. Unica pecca, internet! Il wifi nella hall è molto debole e in camera occore utilizzare un cable corto e scomodo e in più il segnale è debole. Per chi viaggia per lavoro non è ideale.

I det store hele, i top, men receptionen lavede rod i vores slutafregning, hævede beløb på kreditkortet efter vores afrejse og morgenkaffen - både i morgenmadsrestauranten, samt den som blev bestilt ved room service var opvarmet, dårlig og mildest talt kold!

Meninas ligger bra til i sentrum av Madrid, plaza Isabella II er i gangavstand til de fleste andre og mer populære utelivsstedene, museene, spisestedene og attraksjonene. Som vanlig kreves det ofte tre linjer med Metroen for å komme seg fra flyplassen, men prisforskjellen på Metro og taxi er nesten 1 til 10, så det lønner seg om du ikke har for tung […] bagasje. Hotellin sijainti loistava, mutta yhden hengen huone oli pimeä kanakoppi eikä lattioita oltu siivottu kunnolla, pölyä joka paikassa. Kaikki äänet kuuluivat läpi, hissin ääni, suikun äänet muista huoneista jne... En tiedä, millaisia ovat sitten ko. hotellissa muut huoneet?

Das Hotel ist sehr nett und ruhig gelegen. Das Viertel ist für eine Erkundung Madrids sehr zu empfehlen, da zahlreiche nette Lokale in der Nähe liegen und trotz zentraler Lage mal dem Trubel auch mal entgehen kann. Ottima posizione, a due passi dal Palazzo Reale. Il cuore pulsante della città, la Puerta del Sol, la si raggiunge a piedi in pochi minuti, oppure in Metro. L'hotel è carino, pulito e ben arredato. Silenzioso, nonostante ci si trovi in centro città. I letti sono molto comodi. Il personale è disponibile e preparato.
