Hotell Clarion Hotel Prague Old Town - Prag

Allt var bra utom frukosten. Frukosten var helt ok men vissa saker: När vi kom ner (halv 8) stod många skålar tomma och man hann äta färdigt innan de fylldes på. Det hade varit bra med glutenfria- och laktosfria alternativ. Mer skivad frukt. Mer hälsobröd. Annars helt OK:

Otroligt bra läge, lätt att promenera till alla sevärdheter. Mycket bra frukost, vilket man kanske inte trodde innan. Bra rum för syftet en weekend i Prag annars lite litet men det är toppenbra ändå. Bokade och betalade för en svit, men fick istället ett vanligt rum som hade skitig matta och ofräscha möbler och en stenhård säng. När vi klagade kunde de inte göra något och erbjöd oss bara lite "sparkling wine". Efter två nätter fick vi äntliget sviten som hade en underbar takterrass och två helt ok rum. Clarion hotell räknas som 4 stjärningt, vilket jag tycker var att ta i. Skulle personlign ge det tre stjärnor. Har inget direkt att klaga på, det var en helt vanligt hotellupplevelse, varken mer eller mindre. Trevligt hotell som ligger 10 min promenad från gamla stans torg. Service är ok och bra frukost. Enkelrummet har det man kan önska sig och städningen är godkänt.

Promenadavstånd till centrum, stora rum och sköna sängar. Dock något inpyrd röklukt men annars helt OK.

This hotel is brilliant and totally worth the four stars. First of all the location is very central but still quiet. Five minutes walk to the old town square and all the tourist places. The staff is the most helpful and service-minded people I have ever experienced and a thank goes out to them. It is a clarion hotel and it shows. All is nice and bright […] and super clean. Dålig service! Lever inte upp till sina 4-stjärnor... Detta hotellet borde vara klassat som 2-stjärnor. Ingen rumservice eller möjlighet att köpa varm mat. Städningen av rummet var otroligt dålig + ej bytta sängkläder....

Bra läge. Hårda sängar och ofräsch frukost. En del av personalen var otrevlig, speciellt mot vårt barn. Rekommenderar inte i första hand för barnfamiljer. Helt ok hotell men inte mer.

Hotellets främsta egenskap är läget! Bara några härliga minuters promenad bland kullersten och små mysiga gränder till de kända gatorna! Rummet (superior dubbelrum) stämde inte alls med bilden, vilket gjorde mig lite besviken. Rummet kändes lite kalt, mattorna var lite uppruggade och det kändes inte som ett 4-stjärnigt hotell! Mkt hjälpsam personal! Hotellet ligger i ett lugnt område, nära till allt. Frukosten kunde varit bättre, annars toppen.

Stannade 5 nätter på Clarion och var nöjd med min vistelse. Hotellet har ett jättebra läge med endast ett par minuters promenad till Prags innersta stadskärna. Området är lugnt och man kände sig säker när man gick hem om nätterna. Personalen var trevlig och pratade bra engelska och hjälpte till så fort det behövdes. Det stora plusset med denna vistelse är att jag bokat ett dubbelrum, men vi får sviten på 6:e våningen med tillhörande takterass på 40 kvadrat. Oj Oj Oj vilken utsikt över floden och Prag stad.

Var på en lite weekenresa mellan Sön och ons och kunnde tack vare de uppgradera mitt rum till en svit som var helt underbar med en jättetakterass som gav utsikt över hela prag så där finns inte de minsta att klaga på. Hotelet i övrigt var riktigt fräsch och servicen var bra. Området vi bodde tillhörde de lite finare i Prag men man har närhet till allt […] med bara några minuters gångpromenad. Så jag komemr defenitivt åka tillbaka och kan rekomendera alla testa sviten om de inte är någon störree kostnad ni kommer inte ångra er. Läs mer

Nice clean convenient hotel. Calm area and safe feeling day/night.

Chose the hotel because of reputation, location and attractive deal that made it very affordable. Room was clean, had comfortable beds and was well put together. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices. Staff was friendly and competent. Having lived in Prague before, I knew the location of the hotel and wanted to be there. Stayed for about a week in this hotel at a great rate. Switched rooms part-way through for a better view, which was nice. It was helpful to have an actual computer terminal for internet, and overall the hotel is a very good deal. Staff are very rude and not helpful in any way.

The hotel was close enough to see it all, and tucked away enough not to feel like it was too busy. The Old Town is so beautiful you won't be spending too much time in your room!

The generous size of the room (per European standards) is only exceeded by the helpfulness of the Staff. Perfect breakfast, easy walk to all you would want to see.

Very good location, got the airport shuttle into town and the stop is about 5 mins walk from the hotel. The hotel is about 5 mins walk to the old town square and jewish quarters. Thought the room was slightly on the small side but it was clean and tidy. Good selection for breakfast. Only complaint was that we got a bit of surprise from the bath which […] had brown water coming out one evening and reported this to reception who said they were going to send someone up but no-one turned up. Excellent location alongside the old town of Prague - within walking distance of almost everything. The hotel was very clean and quiet. We had a good and comfortable stay.

The staff were exceptionally helpful. Great location and the room was very clean. Also, thought we got a great price. Would stay there again.

The room is nice, not enough soaps and shampoo, nice breakfast. the girl at the reception was not nice or cooperative, when we asked her to call a taxi to the airport she told us to call from the room! The Hotel is near the old Town but not in it! The street leading to the Hotel is not very nice at night.

This hotel was a very nice location to walk to the attractions of old town Prague. It was less than a 10 minute walk to the old town square and about a 15 minute walk to the Charles bridge. There is also a modern mall that is less than 10 minutes away. There is a quick mart down the street, less than 2 blocks, for buying bottled water, snacks, beer, […] etc. The hotel restaurant does close between meals so be prepared for that, I only ate breakfast there. The breakfast was a combination of standard European (meats/cheese) and British/American (eggs/baked beans), they also had a variety of breads, cereal, and yogurt. The room and bed were small, I had to walk sideways between the foot of the full-size bed and the windows. The widows opened which brought in a wonderful breeze. The tub was large and deep, if you have and trouble lifting your leg high then this tub would be impossible to get into. The room was clean. We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was small but very clean. The included breakfast was very good, though the service was mediocre; dirty dishes left on our table as we went back for another coarse; fresh plates not always available, etc. We had a nice view of the river from our 4th floor room. This is a nice hotel in a very convenient location 5 min walk from the Old Town square. Staff at the reception was nice and friendly. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable, though the carpet was a bit worn out. The room had a nice view of the river, but you have to keep windows shut in the night as otherwise you can hear noise from some air-conditioning […] unit below. Air conditioning in the room worked fine. I noticed that some reviews complained about breakfast service. I booked this hotel for my mother, her husband and their two friends, and they really enjoyed their stay. I live in Prague so I choose this hotel because it's location and because it's close to most of the main attractions Prague has to offer. On the downside all the parking was occupied during their stay, but the shopping mall "Palladium" is close […] by, and they got 700-900 (I don't really remember) parking spaces, and it's about 400m from the hotel. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet offered something for everyone (from english breakfast, pasta and salads to different kinds of cornflakes and pastries). Staff was always friendly but lacked competency: Not all of them understood English perfectly well - at least not well enough for a former four star hotel - and they were unable to assist […] in faxing a document to the local embassy. Free WiFi was available in the hotel lobby and restaurant / breakfast room only. Getting a seat in the lobby for comfortable surfing/mailing sessions was almost impossible as they offer a sofa with two seats only. Rooms are equipped with free ethernet access to the internet. Nonetheless we'd revisit that place. It's not even a hundred meters away from the river which we had a nice view on from our room. The bathroom is nice and clean, the A/C worked perfectly well during hot July nights. Fresh towels are provided on a daily basis. After a day walking around the sights of Prague it was good to have easy access to transport back to the hotel. Also quiet easy to get to Prague Castle by public transport. Hotel also have transport to the airport or railway station at a price which is not subject to the local taxi drivers rip off prices!

We ware in hotel in July 2011. We are satisfied completely. The room was clean, replacement toiletries every day. Enough a spacious and comfortable room, plasma TV, air condition, really fast Internet connection. Even so as a lack of variety of breakfast for this level of hotel. By my opinion could have been richer and tastier.

The location is excellent, the rooms are clean and the service is superb.

This was a wonderful experience. Room was a little small but adequate. The bathroom was large and the fixtures seemed almost new. I would highly recommend this hotel especially for the price. It was truly a non-smoking room and we had a partial view of the river.

Great hotel, good location,staff friendly & helpful, been there twice now would defo go again

Room wasn't large or fancy but very comfortable and clean, had a kettle and iron. Bed was very firm, which was fine with me but might bother some people. Staff at front desk very nice and helpful, breakfast buffet had good selection.

Enjoyed my stay with all staff being very helpful. Very Convenient for all the tourist attractions and City Centre. Would recommend to anyone visiting Prague. I found the Internet facilities a bit cramped in the Reception area but that was only a small matter.

I am happy that i have chose the Clarion Hotel Old Town in Prague to stay. Everything was as I expected, clean room, friendly staff, good location, breakfast included and internet connection. Excellent located hotel, spotlessly clean rooms. Spacious bedroom with all mod cons, great bathroom with complimentary toiletries. Staff knowledgeable, approachable & friendly. Great hotel. Clean, friendly staff, and close to attractions. Room a bit small though.

Outstanding experience. Staff incredibly helpful and polite, all spoke great English. Hotel employees helped unload our car, showed us to our room, and even took our car to their secure parking for us (parking costs extra, but is highly recommended. Our room was a suit on the top floor of the building with a giant walk-out balcony with a great view […] of downtown and the castle. Our room was large and very accommodating, with a seperate bedroom, bathroom, and sitting area with complimentary internet connection. The neighborhood was not the MOST interesting in Prague, but we were only about a 10-15 minute walk to the old town square. Not bad at all. I couldn't reccommend this hotel enough. I can’t begin to express how disappointed I was with this hotel. They advertise a 24 hour business center, but when I asked about printing an e-mail the best they could do was to have me send the e-mail for them to print, the only business center I saw was a single computer set up in the corner, with no printer, in Czech language. They also advertise […] air conditioning. My room was a little smelly and hot, so I tried to turn on the a/c; couldn’t get it to cool down, so I called the front desk. They send up a gentleman to look at it, who said “we only have it during summer – there is nothing I can do to help you. Open up your window”. Which wouldn’t have been such a huge deal except that not only do they advertise it but the hotel is located on a major/busy street & the cross street is the way the ambulances go to the hospital! It was not quiet! The parking garage, was 25 Euro’s a day. We ordered room service & the next day the cleaning service didn’t remove the dishes, even though they were right on the desk, empty. I placed both dirty bathroom glasses & dirty spoon in the bath tub so they’d be replaced with clean ones, only to return to my room & they’d placed them back on the counter– DIRTY! They never once in the entire week I was there made the bed completely but placed the blankets folded on my suitcase & then again one day in the closet! I will say the breakfast they offer is good but that is about all I can say positive for this experience. 4 Stars?? I don’t think so. Läs mer

This was a very nice hotel in old town. Close to the town square and clock. The room was nice but they really need to improve on the staff. The room cleaning was horrible and most of the staff were unfriendly.
