Ett mycket bra hotell med London - mått mätt.Tyvärr ingick inte frukost i priset och var rätt dyr att lägga till. Fantastisk service av concierge-personalen som ordnade så att vi kunde lämna in vårt bagage hos ett syster-hotell avresedagen - på så sätt sparade vi värdefull tid och hann åka London Eye utan stress!

Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Tillgodofyllde absolut våra önskemål. Ganska litet rum, men det gjorde inte så mycket då vi bara sov där. God och fräsch frukost. Hotellet ligger i lugna kvarter och nära kommunikation.Prisvärt.

Hotellet ligger bekvämt beläget på en bakgata 3-4 min från tunnelbanestationen och hyde park. Tunnelbanestationen ligger på centrallinjen tillsammans med oxford street och liverpool street. Mysiga närliggande pubar och kaféer. Trevlig personal som informerade om allt, frukost etc. Rummet doftade dock utav klor och personalen städade lite hur dem ville […] så när man skulle till rummet kunde man få klättra över stora påsar med tvätt i deras smala trappa! Det här är ett hotell du väljer om du prioriterar läget före lyxen. Beläget i tunnelbanezon 1 (mitt i mitten av London) och med 2 min promenad till Lancaster Gate tunnelbanestation kan du ta dig till vart som helst i centrala stan på 20 minuter. Eftersom rummen har micro, kylskåp/minifrys och vattenkokare så behöver du heller inte ruinera dig på att […] äta ute morgon/middag/kväll. "Hotell nära centrum och T-bana"
Billigt, bra service och centralt. Städning av rum och nya handukar dagligen var plus men som många andra kommenterat så kunde frukosten varit bättre, mer pålägg att erbjuda än ost och marmelad. Ingen hiss i hotellet som har smala branta trappor är ett minus. Lungt område utan störande trafik.

typiskt engelskt hus inrett med heltäckande mattor. Rummet vi hade var ett twin-bed dubbelrum och det var bra. Sköna sängar, kylskåp, micro och vattenkokare på rummet. Däremot badrummet var skumt, litet och helt i plast.. Förmodligen har det inte funnits länge utan man har fått bruka det badrum som finns på varje vånigsplan. Men det fyllde sin funktion […] :) Hotellets läge var kanon! Promenadavstånd till Paddington station, Kensington park och Hyde park. Helt klart prisvärt! Bra hotell i centralt läge. Från Victoria (20 m från entrén) kan man nå hela London med enorma horder av taxibilar, underground och hur många bussar som helst. Men själva föredrar vi promenader - på en halvtimme når man i stor alla centrala höjdpunkter i London. Trevligt hotel, men med den urdåliga frukosten så vill jag inte bo där igen inte heller rekommendera det till någon annan.

Enkel frukost. Mikrovågsugn och vattenkokare på rummen ett plus. Läget nära två tunnelbansstationer och Paddingtons järnvägsstation ett stort plus om du landar på Heathrow flygplats.

Enkelt hotell med trevlig personal. Undrade först om vi kommit rätt, eftersom bilden på hotellets fasad såg annorlunda ut i verkligheten(dagsljus). Foajén ger inget vidare intryck, men rummen är helt OK. Att tänka på är att det inte finns hiss och det är rätt smala trappor. Enkel frukost som det brukar vara på den här typen av hotell. Trångt rum med dålig funktion( sänglampor, TV, dörr till toa mm. (inget fel på städningen) Trånga trappor och ingen hiss för att bo på 4;e vån. Dålig service på frukost ( slut på bröd, mjölk, dricka mm utan att någon brydde sig förrän efter lång stund när några hade sagt till ) Hyfsat bra läge till staden och i närheten av två T-stationer

Hotellet i sig duger. Det är prisvärt. Kontinental frukost var det inte. Knappt så att de fyllde på när juicen var slut. Receptionisten har ingen känsla för service. Det enda som betydde något var hans dator. Han stirrade in i skärmen när man försökte fråga något. Han var helt ointresserad. Läget däremot var det bästa. Det var jättenära till tunnelbanestationen […] och Hyde Park. Vill man bara ha nånstans att sova, struntar i maten eller servicen så är det här stället för dig. Kan du inte gå i trappor eller har svårt så rekomenderar jag inte detta, det är världens lutning på trapporna. Frukostsalen ligger nere i en källare. Men som sagt, är du ute efter ett bra läge så är detta perfekt för dig. Läs mer

Trevligt hotell med superbt läge men usla sängar och en skrattretande usel frukost. Bra med vattenkokare och micro på rummet så att man slapp uppsöka den "continentala frukostbuffén" som bestod att vitt bröd och marmelad.

Vi hade bokat ett trebäddsrum som var helt ok. Rummet var ganska stort och hyfsat rent, personalen var vänlig och läget var helt ok centralt. Passar för tre nätter men inte mer, sängen var obekväm och hård. Frukost buffen bestod av kaffe, någon slags söt apelsin saft, flingor och mjukt bröd. Oxford Hotell var helt ok, mycket bra läge i Bayswater och ingen störande trafik. Mycket enkelt hotell men helt ok för en weekend resa i London. Bra pris !
"Brilliant location, comfortable and friendly hotel"
The position of the Oxford Hotel is brilliant! It's very close to Lancaster Gate Tube station and only a few blocks to Paddington Tube which is also where the Heathrow trains terminate. The room was warm and comfortable although he decor is a little dated (but who cares when you're just there to sleep). Breakfast is basic (cereal, croissants & toast) […] but having it included is both time and money saving. There is no lift in the hotel, so you need to be able to climb stairs with or without bags, but I'm sure the friendly staff would help if you needed with your bags. Overall, I'd not only stay here again, but would recommend it to others as a good budget hotel. Läs mer

It's only a very small hotel but very convenient to get in to the centre of London and very close to the main bus routes and underground. My only complaint is the en-suite we had was tiny. Anyone over 5' 4" (like me) would have great difficulty maneouvering about in the shower room. The Oxford hotel offers a neat and tidy room at good rates considering the location is pretty convenient. 3 minute walk to the underground metro station. Walking distance to Oxford street. Very close to Hyde park. Wi fi only works in the reception. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful though.

I found its very convenient -just 5-7 min walk to Paddington station , very close to Bayswater bus stops etc . Breakfast can be better. Price per night must be cheaper.

Hotel was clean,guy at reception was helpful but like everybody has said in review breakfast definitely needs to be looked at seriously. If continental breakfast provide a proper continental breakfast. bread,cheeses,sliced meats etc. Otherwise cant fault the stay.
Hotel close to Paddington Station (direct train to Heathrow Airport) and just two blocks from Hyde Park. If you are too tired to walk miles for dinner, no worries, there is an excellent Lebanese restaurant just next door and plenty of other restaurants and pubs just 5 min walk away. Stay away from the breakfast!

The hotel is near the Paddington train station. And the room is big enough. But the wifi can only be accessed in the reception. And the facilities are a litte old.

we booked it as a last minute hotel/hostel. The price is fair for a last minute booking. The bath room is the smallest I have ever seen and I am very fit I have to say. If you haven't tired a 1 square meter(or less) tolilet+bathroom, you should have a go. I had one night at the "Oxford hotel". The location was fine nearby Lancaster Gate. The rest was disappointing . It took me most of the night to find out how to turn the heating on. I´m used to sleep in cold rooms but this was freezing. When I came down to the breakfast I thought i was too late, it was almost nothing there. I was wrong again . Oxford Hotel in Bayswater, London is a very basic hotel, but located nicely in central London and is moderately priced. I had booked a room with a double bed (and indicated that I would be the only person staying in the room), but I got a room with one double bed and two single bed. Atleast I had enough towels. The room was on the first floor facing […] the "yard", thus removing any sounds from outside (apart from the occasional emergency and law enforcement vehicles blaring past near by). The room was old and slightly worn down but clean. The toilet was small, just the toilet seat, sink and the shower. The toilet had slight scent of bleach what again proves that somebody does clean there. The room had a kettle, a microwave oven, a bunch of mugs, plates, cuttlery and instant coffee and tea. TV is there and it works, but don't expect LCD with surround sound. Breakfast was included in the price and it consisted of white bread or croisants, cornflakes, orange juice, tea and coffee. Very simple and plain. English breakfast can be bought for an additional fee, but I didn't have it and did not witness anybody having it. The staff was polite and spoke good English. All in all the Oxford Hotel in Bayswater (don't mix it up with the newer Oxford Hotel, Earls Court; that one is completely in a different place, slightly more expensive, and more nicer) is a basic budget hotel that gives you a possibility to stay in central London still enjoying the basics of hotel accommodation. We stayed in the family room and found the hotel to be very charming. Rooms were clean, front desk attendants very helpful, and the continental breakfast was enough to get us started for a day of sight seeing. The hotel was convienently located to Paddington and Lancaster Gate subway stations along with several shops and pubs.

This place is a very typical small European hotel, very average but close to the tube stop. I only stayed here one night because I was on my way up north, it served its purpose to provide me a decent shower and bed. Would not stay in this place if I needed to be there for more than a night.

This is a budget hotel in an excellent location; a short walk to Paddington, Lancaster Gate, or Queensway Underground stations and bus stops on Bayswater Road. It is near Hyde and Kensington Parks and within walking distance to Kensington Palace, the Natural History, Science, and Victoria and Albert Museums, and Harrods. The neighborhood is pleasant […] with several good restaurants nearby. Our room was clean, and the beds comfortable. A microwave, refrigerator, and an electric water heating applicance were in our room along with plates, cups, utensils, and instant coffee or tea. An adequate breakfast consisting of tea, coffee, milk, orange juice, cereal, rolls or toast, with butter, cheese, and jam or jelly is included. The staff was pleasant and helpful. While we were there the clientele consisted of young European families and middle aged couples. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel; but remember, it is an European budget hotel so be prepared to climb some stairs. "Oxford Hotel, London: not for business travelers"
I am very comfortable with 'no-frills' hotels. The Oxford fits that description - and more. It falls short in amenities that many weary business travelers will consider basic needs. WiFi is in reception only (some of the ground floor rooms may be able to pick it up, but don't count on it). There are no toiletries (shampoo, mending kit, etc) beyond a […] bar of soap. Television is limited to four channels. My room had no desk or similar work space. In echo to some of the other reviews, the mattress needed to be retired some years back. For the parsimonious holiday traveller, the Oxford might be quite acceptable. The desk staff were pleasant and helpful, and the location is convenient. Läs mer
"Noisy neighbors, reluctant staff"
The flat next door was full of very boisterous young guys drinking, screaming, and banging things. They kept us up late on our first night in a new time zone. When we alerted the staff, they didn't seem at all surprised by the noise (in other words, it happens often) and were reluctant to do anything about it. They did apologize sincerely to us the […] following day, though. Overall, the hotel is charming and clean. It's located in a nice, safe area but can be difficult to find since several nearby streets have very similar names. The wireless access is spotty and doesn't work in the basement rooms at all, so if you're getting a cheap rate, don't count on wireless access. Located just 5 minute walk from Paddington Station, The Oxford is very conveniently located with many inexpensive restaurants located just steps away. The hotel is small, with no lift (we were on the 4th floor) and the bathrooms (ours at least) was the smallest I have ever experienced. Not much bigger than an airline lavatory. Centrally located close to anything you like to see and explore. Very close to Hyde Park so why not start off the day with a nice walk in the park as the sun goes up. Stayed in one of the family rooms which was very clean and where equipped with what you need for a couple of days stay over.
