This hotel was very baaad. We stay about 2nigtht but not changed bed cleaning and evey towels.I asked bed making at reception but cost is $15 and towel is $3 each extra cost.!!!!!! In night I ordered ice cubes for my drink but not give me. why???? Hotel was lovely and provided everything I need for an enjoyable trip. Was close to the shops and there was a bus stop to the theme parks just out the front. Had three pools which were great to use during the day or for a late night dip. Good pools, friendly staff. Rooms and overall hotel rundown. Bed was very uncomfortable and air cons barely worked, luckily it wasn't too hot while we were there. Hotel massage service was great, very relaxing. Buffet breakfast a little disappointing as well compared to others, cavil ave is only a short walk so would go there for breakfast instead. […] Hotel would be good for families, not so much for groups or couples. Would stay here for a short term escape but no more then 4 days mainly due to the beds!! Not what I would expect from mantra but it did look as though they may be revamping it. Läs mer

We love the Mantra Sun for holidays with pur grandchildren. The pools and water slides keep them happy for hours on end. The rooms are large and well appointed and the hotel staff are very professional and accommodating.

When we booked on line on Expedia we were not told that our room was an apartment that you had to upkeep yourself, nor did they tell us at the front desk when we arrived. We didn't notice until 2 days in that we had had no room service and that we had to clean ourselves, and leave it clean when we left. This wasn't so much a problem but disappointed […] that we weren't informed earlier. Also to get room service was $45. When we got to our room I found hair all over the bathroom and bedroom. Also they used the worst toilet paper imaginable. The breakfast buffet at the restaurant was disappointing, but the cocktails were great. We weren't provided with a doona for our bed, just 2 sheets and a thin blanket. Also we booked a king size bed, but discovered it was just 2 singles pushed together that slid apart at night. The overall condition of the hotel was ok, but the room was disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a short stay, as there isn't much time to clean up the room during the day if you plan on going out. It is more family friendly and for people staying a while. The general availability of facilities e.g. pool, restaurant, gym, etc. were satisfying, buffet breakfast was a great addition to our stay, staff overall were all very helpful and respectful, and it was very nice to be situated right where all the action happens in Surfer's.

The rooms are very clean and the facilities are great. Each room gets ocean view. The swimming pool is great for kids.

We stayed for 4 nights but no one clean our rooms or change our towels... when we requested for our rooms to be clean and towels to be changed.. they told me that i have to pay for cleaning fee and towels changing fee.. Other than that. its okay, i felt as if i am staying in a high end hostel instead of a hotel.

Ocean View Apprtment was excellent, good size, very comfortable. had all that could have been required. Staff were curtious and attentive. Buffet breakfast was was a standard affair. i would stay here again.

During our 5 nights stay, the room was not cleaned, not even once, and when we asked the receptionist that we wanted to change the towels we were told that there will be charged of $ 3 each, now that's ridiculous, the food in the rest were too expensive, overall it was ok, my son liked the swimming pool, not coming back to stay though

We booked the 'bed and breakfast' option. The room we got was the smallest one on the floor, looked to be about half the size of the other rooms (from looking at the floor plan on the fire evacuation maps). The furniture looked like it was picked up from a second hand store - all mismatched and pretty worn out. There was some mould in the bathroom around […] the shower, and a few hairs on the floor when we arrived. When we arrived they put a $200 hold on a credit card. This isn't unusual, however when we checked out I asked if they'd cancel the $200 on the card now. They told me that it would take 10 days for this to happen, and that the delay is at their bank's end, not theirs. This seems pretty ridiculous to me - most Australian banks would turn this around overnight. Läs mer

The 3 bed apartment was very disappointing. We were told we were getting 3 king beds, one was king, one queen & the Other was 2 single beds pushed together ! The apartment was in desperate need of a makeover, nothing matched & it was not child friendly! It was all tiled & no carpet. Curtains, walls. & fans in all rooms were dirty & some curtains torn, […] the outside furnitire was in very poor condition, thick dust on all fans, air conditioners were filthy & unhygenic, holes, dents hadn't been plastered up in walls & thick dust behind furniture. Obviously these apartments are cleaned on a budget & my family & I feel they are definately not a four & half star hotel. The poolside cafe was only open on weekends, there was no place to get a coffee or lunch in the hotel. The inside & outside pool was freezing, but the watersides were great! It was very noisy st night so balcony doors had to ge shut. The lifts & levels were not air conditioned & were very stuffy! Läs mer

This is absolutely NOT 4 stars standard, may not even reach 3 stars rating. Room has bad smell, cockroach in toilet, air-cond is not working properly, and staffs are not friendly at all. Mantra Sun City is a great hotel, the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, it is close to everything, food courts, restaurants are nearby. The facilities are awesome, our kids love the heated swimming pool. Spas and saunas are cool and relaxing after a long day visiting theme parks. We will definitely come back next year […] . Läs mer

Why do hotels like this one insist on having curtains that let in all the light as soon as the sun comes up? I was wide awake at 5.30 am as the paper thin white fabric curtains absorbed all the morning light. It would have been darker in my room with all the lights on !

Things to note are that the rooms are not serviced so hang your towels to dry. Breakfast is great. The pools are nice. Only a short walk into town. Bottle shop across the road (hic). Free parking great for push biking which we do.

If we had of been husband and wife with 3 kids it would of been fine. The girl in the restaurant for buffet breakfast needs more help she seemed to have one speed. When booking the room we asked for ocean views and instead got a view of the river and hinterlands in a "B" room. I stayed here with a daughter and 3 grandchildren, two aged 16 years and the younger one was 9 years. I asked for and received a 3-bedroom ocean front unit and was absolutely delighted with the apartment, clean, tidy and spacious, with glorious views of the beach from the 17th floor. The service from Reception was impeccable, the room service meals […] from Saya's were very good and the best priced meals we saw in Surfers. Location was perfect, right next to Ferny Ave and the bus stops, walking distance to the main shopping area, right next to the beach, and a handy mini-golf just across the road. The Pit Stop convenience store is also just next door and we found this useful as we did breakfasts and cut lunches in our unit, using the very nice kitchen. Would definitely choose this hotel again! Had read the reviews already posted for this hotel.I don't agree with them. We had a very enjoyable stay at Mantra Sun City and look forward to staying there again. Can really recommend staying there. Staff are friendly and facilities are great.The apartment was spacious, clean and the view was fantastic.

Check-in was okay. I was a little surprised though to be told that a $100 charge would be taking off my card and returned within a few days. And if I paid that charge by credit card, I would be charged a non-refundable 2% fee. The hotel overall was clean and very "mayan" inspired. I didn't use the outdoor pool as it was too cold while I was staying […] there but it looked nice. The free buffet breakfast was for sure the highlight of this hotel. Compared to the Continental breakfasts back in North America, where you get mere scraps of muffins and toast, this breakfast was fantastic! Hot, fresh food and even a pancake maker that made fresh pancakes for you on the spot by just pressing a button! The room was comfortable but the drapes were strange as the sun blocking curtain was buried in the back and not easily accessible. During check-out I overheard two other couples comment on the same issue, and much like my husband and I, they awoke earlier on their first nights to a sun-filled room. The annoying thing about this hotel was the lack of elevators. Two out of the four elevators were not functioning and for a 30+ floor hotel, this definitely was inconvenient. I booked the Mantra because I had a conference across the road so location was perfect for my needs. I was a bit surprised about the lack of room cleaning - on request only, but I gather if I had wanted more toiletries , I only had to ask. I didn't mind not having the room serviced. Unfortunately my first experience was not pleasant, after checking in and driving around in circles trying to find a park in the so called "guest" car park, we entered 1 of the 4 elevators and it had an off odor, looked down and there was baby feces on the floor! Not the hotels fault but when we down again several hours later it was still there...The […] room was not overly clean, after the first night of tossing and turning and waking up between the "king" bed, housekeeping hadn't bothered to do the zip up...I went and complained to management that there was mold in the bathroom, rust and dirt all over the balcony, the bed wasn't even put together properly, although eventually we did get changed rooms, I had to chase this up with management and then he came and asked me to point out the problems....I certainly have been put off the Mantra for life, I certainly expect more from a hotel and certainly expect more for the price that was paid to stay there! We booked the Mantra sun city expecting a 4.5 star hotel this it was not. We Stayed there 5 years ago when it was an operated by Outrigger Resorts and it was great, since under Mantra management it seems to be a run down appartment complex that services your room every 8 days, It seemed as though all they rooms were occupied by private residences and […] they cared little for hotel guests. Next time i will just book a quality appartment at least then we will get a good room where we can wash our towels and sheets ourselves. The best feature of the stay was that breakfast and car parking was included. Läs mer

外観はとてもいいと思ったのですが、中は古いだけあって、古く感じました。 でも部屋のシャワーなどは新しくよかったです。特にシャワールームは広く固定ではなくて使いやすかったです。場所はサーファーズには少し離れてましたが、逆にうるさくなくていいのかも知れません。
