The hotel was nice and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, this hotel seems to be a hot spot for weddings since there was one checking out as we were checking in and then another one that night. Our rooms were directly over the room where the wedding reception was being held. Without air conditioning in the rooms we were forced to leave the […] windows open and listen to the band until very late into the night. We did ask to have our rooms moved as soon as we checked in but were told there were no other rooms available. They should leave the rooms over the wedding hall for wedding guests and put other guests on higher floors in the front of the hotel. It spoiled what could have been a more enjoyable stay. Läs mer

I stayed in the triple quad room with my children. There was great space and it was really warm. Restaurant staff were really accomodating and helpful as I had 2 coeliac children with me. Generally the service and hotel was fine. Staff were very friendly. The downside was that the staff seemed to allow children who were really noisey to run around all the time. I noticed 2 members of staff nearly falling over children when serving food, just imagine if there had been an accident. It was a good stay for a day pleasure with the kids to enjoy the swimming pool, but some things in the room not right, eg: phone not working, tv remote not working, no aircondition during summer wil bit warm in the room, and the service lift so slow... But friendly staff and nieghborhood, quite location, good to relax away from city.

The Woodlands Hotel is very centrally located . It is about a twenty minute drive to either Tramore, Dunmore East or Waterford City. The hotel has a swimming pool and it is close to alot to shops etc.However it you are bringing children the leisure centre closes to children at 7pm. The food was really lovely, there was a wide choice for breakfast and […] we ate dinner there on two of our three evenings.The one big minus is the noise we had to tolerate on two nights as there were weddings being hosted. The noise really impacted badly on us and my child with autism found it distressing. No laundry service. On four mornings no fresh fruit other than grapefruit segments and prunes for the continental breakfast. Selection of yogurts poor.

The staff were absolutely incredible. They were so helpful in any information we required. Everyone was so nice and made us feel extremely welcome

Hotel was nice, but a little run down. Our tv didn't work and had to have a cable replaced. The front desk took care of it very quickly though. The restaurant had excellent food and the service was great. Our room was a family room with three twin beds and on double be. Plenty of space too.
