Hotell Butterfly on Hollywood - Hongkong

Stayed only one night but was very happy. Big room with great facilities. A little minus on the toilet which were IN the bedroom with only a curtain as a door. Very service minded staff.

Små rum men rena och trevliga. Det finns ingen restuarang eller bar på hotellet, men det finns tvärs över gatan och en nattöppen liten butik finns runt hörnet om man vill köpa snacks och dryck och ta med upp på rummet. 5 minuter till tunnelbanan, 10 inuter till färjeterminalen för båtar till Macau, 15-20 minuter till färjecentralen över till Kowloon […] (men man kan ta t-banan en station om det är för varmt eller regnar. Hotellet ligger på en gata fullt med antikbutiker för den som är intresserad av sådant. Personalen är ytterst trevlig och hjälpsam. T.ex glömde jag min plånbok på rummet när vi skulle åka hem. De ringde mig så fort de upptäckte och åkte sedan efter oss ut till flygplatsen för att jag skulle få tillbaka den. För det ville de bara ha ersättning för tågbiljetten.... Läs mer

Close to the Soho area & club/bar street (10min) // situated at a corner where taxi's come by every 5 minutes // close to very nice restaurants // hotel room wasnt very clean and some corners could be cleaner but the bathroom was which was most important for me // hotel bed was comfortable thou a bit small for tall people > 1,95

Mycket bra hotell med gångavstånd till det mesta på Hong Kong Island. Hotellet är modernt, rummen små men välplanerade. Skulle definitivt bo där igen.

The location is good. There´re a lot of nice restaurants on the street just outside the hotel and it´s very easy to either walk or take a taxi to get around that side of Hong Kong. Be careful what kind of room you´re booking, The rooms are very small and some of them have a not very pleasent standard.

The only complain is the bathroom. Toilet bowl too low even for an average person like me (1.65M). It's quite noisy taking a shower when the water hit on the glass partition.Otherwise it is perfect place to stay.

I loved this hotel! it is all you need when traveling. Rooms are small compact, fresh and adequate. Staff friendly and efficient. Butterfly's and hug me pillows a lovely quirky touch. Value for money in an expensive city.

I have stayed at a couple of other Butterfly Hotels in Hong Kong and I have always enjoyed them. This butterfly stands out for me because of the helpful staff, Raymond in particular. Very inexpensive boutique hotel for Hong Kong standards, but you get what you pay for. This tiny hotel is cozy and in a good Sheung Wan location, which is an up and coming district loaded with antique shops & cool restaurants & bars. Walking distance of the metro & Central areas. I was here on the first leg of my vacation for 3 nights. Initilally, I saw that the hotel was on top of a hill. It was a chore to walk up the hill daily. The hotel, it's self, was very nice. They went all out with the cheesy Hollywood theme, but was amusing non-the-less. The rooms were a bit small but clean and efficient, considering it was just a base […] of operation and a place to lay your head at night. It location was was very convenent: the Western market was only a few minutes walk, as was the electric trolly and the ferry terminals. The beds were firm but not rock hard like in the other hotels you will find in China. I did not have much contact with the staff, but the contact that I did have was very friendly. I speak some Mandrin, but the staff, actually the whole island, speaks English. Overall, I liked the hotel and would recomend it to anyone staying on HK Island. Läs mer

Good location close to all amenities, walking distance to MTR and many many food stores. Not the smallest rooms in Hong Kong but close. Excellent staff, good clean tidy hotel room. Not a huge fan of having the vanity sink on the main table / desk.

The room is quite clean but the noise of the fan in the bathroom is really irritating. And this hotel doesn't have restaurant, so don't except room service if u are as lazy as me.

A very quaint hotel in an interestingly nice neighbourhood. Efficient/friendly staff at check-in/out as otherwise you were left alone as u wonder in/out of the hotel lobby. Good experience.

Not worth the price of 100/night that I got it for.hotel had a really awful stench that I could not determine, but really strong chemical you smell as soon as you get in the lobby and in the halls.it was probably a massive amount of perfume spray to mask how old and dirty the hotel really is.the hotel room was the smallest Ive […] ever been in, my parents were so uncomfortable and angry the moment we got there plus very dirty carpet with a leak from the bathroom. This hotel was good value.. The red cushion on the bed was covered in small hairs and generally seemed like their had been a pet in the room, that was pretty gross. Once I moved that aside the room was fine.

this hotel is on Hong Kong island in the old Sheung Wan district close to the city, wharf, eateries, shops, markets and the few remaining trams and backstreets that make this city interesting. The staff here are very helpful. They only provide accommodation (no restaurant to worry about) and happy to help with your baggage, taxis, advice on places to […] go and see. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Very close to the MTR station (sheung wan) and short cab ride to all the hot spots in central. I was here with my boyfriend, we're both in our late 20s and it was perfect for what we needed. Just keep in mind the rooms are pretty small, but then again that's pretty standard for Hong Kong. Extremely small bedroom, walls were mouldy, bathroom had sliding glass door that couldn't close properly, no cups for coffee/tea (description of room mentioned coffee/tea maker, not kettle). Would not stay here again.

Hotel is in great location, which is very good for very reasonable price for Hong kong. If you like bars in the night you are on the right address. Hotel room is very small, but has everything you need and in good condition.

spent 3 nights in this hotel, I think it's formally known as central park which just recently bought by the butterfly chain hotel. I recently stayed at Butterfly on Hollywood and LOVED it. The staff were super helpful and always friendly and the location is great. It is about 5-10min walk to the MTR and close to many tourist attractions. There are also many excellent restaurants in the area. Highly recommend it! :)

I always get great service at this hotel. Andy is so helpful and professional I really enjoy seeing him when I stay there. I stay there every time I go to Hong Kong because the location is great, the service is amazing, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.Thank you Butterfly Hotel!
