Centralt läge. Nära till alla sevärdheter.. Överhuvudtaget får man ett mycket bra intryck av hotellet. Lätt att ta sig till och från flygplatsen med buss, som stannade bara några minuters gångväg från hotellet.

location is good, but the bed and pillow is not comfortable. no restaurant for lunch and dinner but only for breakfast. hotel staffs are helpful.

GREAT HOTEL! We booked this hotel solely on the basis of other reviews on the HOTEL.COM site. the front desk staff was very attentive, the bar staff went out of their way for accommodation, the morning buffet was excellent. The hotel is nicely situated, with a short walk to the Spanish Steps or the Vatican. I recommend this hotel and will stay again […] - when back in Rome! 5* Läs mer

Hotel location was convenient to the Vatican City. The next closest sites were the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain which were both about a 15 minute walk. Although you could walk to the other sites in Rome they were a little farther away in particular the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. However this did not make the stay in Rome a disappointment as […] we were able to see a lot more of the City by walking. Läs mer

We arrived on a flight early in the morning in Rome from the U.S. Our room was ready as the hotel was not very busy I guess and we were allowed to go ahead and check in early. The bellman was very cheerful as soon as we entered the lobby and the front desk staff could not have been more gracious. Upon arrival in our room we were pleasantly surprised […] at the spaciousness including the bathroom. The shower was generously sized and the bathroom was appointed nicely. The room rate we had included breakfast each morning and the cafe was perfect. The staff that worked in the cafe each morning was just as pleasant and the food was tasty. It was the perfect way to start our day of sightseeing and walking all over Rome. As far as location goes the Hotel Dei Mellini was in a great neighborhood. We could easily reach the Piazza Navona in ten minutes and on the other side the Vatican in ten minutes or so. The area felt extremely safe and well kept. All in all we would definitely return to this establishment.. The staff was wonderful and even gave out roses on Valentine's Day!! The Hotel Dei Mellini was far and above our expectations! David at the front desk was super helpful and allowed us to check-in quickly and prior to the normal check-in time. Our room was VERY large -- much larger than any hotel room I have previously seen/occupied in Europe -- the decor was 100% up-to-date and tasteful, and everything in the room was […] exceptionally clean other than a little mildew in the corner of the shower. The beds were super firm (may be too firm for some, but great for us) and the sheets were soft and of good quality. Pillows were foam and a little flat, but we asked for extras and they were delivered immediately. Towels were big and soft, toiletries plentiful. We turned the AC on, but I am not sure the "master" cooling switch was on, but it did cool a bit. However, the windows were large, modern and opened easily from the inside, so we just opened the windows if we needed cooler air (we visited in October). The bar downstairs was open each evening and the bartender (Marco) provided great service and wine recommendations. The included breakfast was terrific -- we looked forward to it every morning. Pastries & breads galore, sliced meats, yogurt, cereals, fruits, juices, coffee, tea -- you name it. Rome is not the cleanest, most calm city in the world, but you would never know it when staying in this hotel. Hotel De Mellini was a welcome retreat after days of extended siteseeing. Yes, it was a little more expensive than our other top choices, but we are so glad we decided to spend a little more. We could not have had a better experience! Läs mer

Hotel about 10 min walk to sites , really just a room ,no lobby area to talk of and bar is tiny and empty. Breakfast extremely basic. Room was cosy/clean and refurbished...i'd describe this as an upmarket B&B. Staff were friendly and helpful would stay here if got good deal.

The staff was courteous and helpful with everything, and this place is in a really great location to see many of the amazing sites Rome has to offer. I'd stay there again if I go back.

The hotel is very nice and the staff was curt at times. However if you plan to do any type of work on your vacation with your own computer there is a charge by the half hour and is quite expensive. The public computer in the lobby was at least reasonable but will not work for my email. Pro - Clean, quiet hotel. Within walking distance (10-15 minutes) of Vatican City and the City Center. About 10 minutes walk to the nearest metro station. A few restaurants/wine bars are opened late in the nearby area, not much, but a couple. Con - No internet in the room. Paid for the internet service through the TV, didn't like it, and the hotel […] was nice enough to give me a full refund. No other amenities (gym, pool, restaurant). There are worst neighborhoods and hotels in Rome. If you get a good rate, then consider this one, otherwise, don't. Läs mer

The hotel was nice. Our only complaint was that the toilet was tucked away in the corner next to the sink, so you had to sit kind of diagonal to use it. Those taller than 5'7" would probably find it hard to use. Our friends' room though did not have this problem. Another complaint was that we tried to use the internet in the room, but it kept freezing […] on us, so we wasted probably 2 hours in total trying to get it to work. The other option for internet was to purchase a card for 5 euros for 30 min, which was kind of pricey. And lastly, we walked everywhere because we were not close to the Metro or any of the major tourist attractions. We didn't think of taking a bus until our last 2 days there which would've worked out better. But in all, it still was not a very convenient location, esp for the price we paid. Läs mer

The three bed option was great for a family to travel. The room was very comfortable.

バチカンに行きたかったので、徒歩15分は便利でした。 ポポロ広場やスペイン階段までもが徒歩圏内。ホテルの周辺環境も落ち着いていて最高！ スイ－トに3人宿泊しましたが、部屋も落ち着くインテリアで快適、ただ、夜に機械音のような音が断続的に聞こえるのが気になりました。

とても快適に過ごせました。場所はプラート地区で地下鉄レパント駅徒歩10分弱、カヴール広場から5分程度とテルミニ駅から来る人には少々支障がありますが、とても雰囲気の良い地区です。ホテルは入口がわかりずらく少し探しましたが、中は清潔で部屋も広く快適でした。お風呂がもう少し広いと◎です。私はローマに泊まる際はこのあたりにいつもしていますがその理由は静かで安全、ヴァチカンに近い、スペイン広場やパンテオン・ポポロ広場などが徒歩圏内である、おいしいジェラート屋や食事どころがあるなどです。また来るときには利用したいです。

Hôtel propre dans un quartier très calme situé à dix minutes à pied du centre ville et à quinze minutes à pied du Vatican. Personnel accueillant, petit déjeuner correct (hésitez pas à demander du café maison ou cappuccino car ils ne proposent pas !), jolie grand chambre très spacieuse et calme pour se reposer d'une bonne journée de visite et à pied […] ! Super zentral liegendes Hotel, innert 15min. ist man zu Fuss an diversen Seenswürdigkeiten sowie an der Shopping Strasse. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet über Käse, Fleisch, süsses, Müesli und Früchte alles. Das Superiör Zimmer war sauber und relativ gross mit einem winzigen Balkon. Das Bad war im Vergleich zum Zimmer zwar sehr klein, aber sonst tadellos. […] Was wir vermisst haben; Bademäntel! 8-ung das Hotel hat kein Restaurant, aber durch die zentrale Lage ist das auch gar nicht nötig. Super schöne Terasse im obersten Stock bietet Gemütlichkeit für einen Drink und wer möchte, kann sich mit den Badesachen auf den Liegestühlen saunieren und abduschen. Läs mer

Det ligger i Sentrum. Ikke nødvendig å bruke bil. Du kan rekke flere interessante plasser uten transport.

hotel tres agréable et personnel accueillant. Dommage qu'en Italie on y parle plus anglais que français, mais c'est un fait. Le bar ferme assez tôt, nous n'avons pas pu prendre un verre à minuit : fermé. Le reste est très bien et l'hotel est assez proche de la place Saint Pierre tout en etant pas dans une rue fréquentée et donc on y est au calme.

I chose this hotel for its high score on this website and was happy for my choice. I have been in other 4 star hotels in Rome but this is the best!
