Hotell Ibiscus Hotel - Rhodos stad

Det är tredje gången jag bor på Hibiscus och anledningen till att jag återvänder är läget, trevliga rum och vällagad, varierad och prisvärd mat. Det som jag vill framhålla som är speciellt är personalen som genomgående är mycket trevliga och har en hög servicenivå.

Hibiscus motsvarar verkligen förväntningarna inom alla områden. Speciellt personalens personliga service, den vällagade maten som serveras men också den professionella organisationen då middagen serveras till väldigt många gäster samtidigt. Med denna bakgrund ger jag bästa betyg i alla kategorier.

Mycket trevlig personal och ett underbart läge nära stranden. Det ända negativa var att det fanns någon i receptionen som var mindre trevlig.

Excellent location. Good restaurants nearby, the beach is 30 seconds walk, very nice bar and the standard breakfast offers a variety of choices. The rooms are not luxurious, but they are very decent. Eleganta allmänna utrymmen, inte riktigt samma klass på rummet. Utmärkt frukost, middagsbuffén kunde fått vara lite mer "grekisk”. Personalen hjälpsam och trevlig såväl i reception som i restaurang och bar.

Hard beds and old furniture. Nice staff and good breakfast. Very small pool and poor beaches nearby. Very nice city and good location in the city. Not a 4-star hotel in my opinion.

This hotel is not a four star hotel,maybe it was a four star hotel when it was built in 1960s.the condition of beds are very poor,the carpeting in the hallways and common areas needs replacement the refregirator in the room was so noisy that I had to unplug it before I go to bed every night .the best part of this hotel is the dining area staff they […] are very friendly and professional.Nick the manager of the food services at this hotel is a real asset to this hotel.he is the reason many guests feel good about this place. The best part of this hotel is the location. Beautiful views. Hotel bar area in front of the hotel is newly finished and looks great. As you go into the hotel and into the rooms, things start to to dated and obsolete. Front desk very helpful and kind. THe hotel room had two twin beds pushed together with two sets of twin sheets...not really king bed […] as promised. Mattress was hard as a rock. Bathroom was dated but clean and good water pressure. TV was barely operational but who needs a TV with the view out the window. The pool is so small it should be a kids only pool. If you go to Rhodos, go for the beach and other amenities, not for a 4 Star hotel. Läs mer

Friendly service, room was adequate but outdated. Very close to the beach, decent restaurants nearby, approx 15 minute walk to the Old Town.

Ensure if you are staying at this hotel to ask for a room with a view to the sea (esp if you are in a single room go for 121-521). The rooms with view to the pool are not worth the money. The hotel furniture is old and not for a 4 star hotel, but the staff is friendly and makes up for the services.

The staff at this hotel were excellent. I developed a kidney infection whilst staying there. The staff were extremely kind and very supportive in directing us to pharmacy etc Their kindness and concern extended down to the head waiter in the main resturant who not only sent food requested to our room for me not provided on their room service menu but […] went to the trouble at breakfast the following morning of enquiring from me personally if I was feeling better. I chose the Hotel Ibiscus because I wanted a well-located hotel in Rhodes Town. Ibiscus worked out great. It is located at the northern part of the city, about 10 minutes walk to most places in the New City and about 15 minutes walk to the Old (walled) City. There is a city bus that runs close to the hotel if you don't want to walk. I opted for the […] half-board option because it was only a few euros more than the breakfast-only option. This also worked out well; the restaurant (buffet) was not bad and beer and wine was very reasonably priced. The hotel is showing its age a bit but it's very clean and the service was very good. Overall a good choice if you want a nice hotel in Rhodes Town rather than being located in a more remote location in Rhodes. Läs mer

I'm just back from 12 days in sunny Rhodes. I sayed in 2 hotels - BlueSky for 8 days and Ibiscus (I changed from one to the other as daily room rates changed) Both are fine for holiday purposes. In 40 years of traveling, we have never been disappointed with a hotel that is recommended by Arthur Frommer. The Ibiscus was no exception. We paid a very reasonable rate for a sea view room. The price included a wonder buffet breakfast with a chef cooking eggs and crepes to order. Dinner was included and had cruise ship type cuisine (buffet dinner, […] that is.) Once again a chef was there cooking fresh paella one night and pork chops on the second night. Staff were wonderful. The public areas of the hotel were very nice. Pool was small and in an interior courtyard. Most of the people at the hotel were German. The location is prime with water on two sides, the best beach and a short walk to the medieval walled city and port. Internet is not free, but the hotel sold reasonably priced access cards. Läs mer

ottima posizione per chi come me ama nuotare: la baia (con sabbia) su cui si affaccia l'albergo è quasi una piscina (vasche da 500 metri circa ed anche trampolino da 1,5 - 3 e 5 metri) con mare quasi sempre limpido e poco mosso. Colazione molto varia e di ottima qualità.

Con l'hotel sulla punta a nord-est dell'isola, sul mare, sei a due passi da un centro storico bellissimo, con diversi strati di antichità bellissime e pieno di gente tranquilla. Oltre ad un tuffo nell'antichità nella città vecchia, imperdibile, ci son da vedere spiagge, monasteri, località uniche, cucina caratteristica, tutto a breve distanza dall'hotel. […] Il personale dell'hotel, disponibilissimo, ci ha aiutato per auto a nolo, crociere nelle isole, e informazioni sul posto. Ci siamo stati una notte nel mese di giugno 2011 Accoglienza buona personale disponibile, ambiente discreto. Le camere hanno un arredamento un pò datato ed usurato, il bagno è discreto e non può considerarsi costruzione moderna. La colazione è a buffet (il voto è 6 da 1 a 10) Il rapporto qualità/prezzo non è certo dei migliori.

L'Hotel è situato in una posizione veramente strategica rispetto alla città vecchia ed al Porto, vi si può andare comodamente a piedi. Non è recentissimo, hanno effettuato una ristrutturazione nelle hall ed in alcune parti comuni, comunque la stanza era molto spaziosa e pulita, con frigo-bar e asciuga capelli, poche prese elettriche ma la vera scoperta […] dell'albergo è stata la cucina! Ottima la colazione (a buffett con salato e dolce in abbondanza, dolcetti di pasticceria fatti a mano, crepes salate o dolci fatte al momento. Per la prima volta abbiamo optato per la HB (di norma facciamo B&B e ceniamo nei vari ristorantini) ,ma lette le recensioni, abbiamo azzardato la cena ed è stata una scelta azzeccata, un buffet vario e di ottima qualità soprattutto le varie verdure al forno (patate, melanzane, zucchine etc) pesce fresco, carne di vario genere, formaggi verddure cotte e crude, nonchè diversi dolci. Il perosnale di salal gentile e preparato, abbimao avuto un piccolo incidente all'auto presa a noleggio e prezioso è stato l'aituo della reception (una persona parla un pò di italiano)DA CONSIGLIARE!!!!! Ottima posizione di fronte ad una belle spiaggia di Rodi. personale molto gentile, cibo discretamente buono. Non mi è piaciuta la camera matrimoniale che era con due letti singoli attaccati.

Η διαμονή μου στο ξενοδοχείο ήταν καταπληκτική. Η τοποθεσία του συγκεκριμένου ξενοδοχείου συνδυάζει θάλασσα (πολύ κοντά) και πόλη (με λίγων λεπτών περπάτημα βρίσκεσαι στη νέα πόλη και λίγο ακόμη στην παλιά. Το σέρβις ήταν άψογο και όλοι πολύ ευγενικοί και εξυπηρετικοί.

très bon hotel avec un rapport qualité prix imbattable. très bien situé près de la plage et de la vieille ville. Le restaurant propose une grande diversité de plats avec un accueil chaleureux.
