Staff is great and very helpful. The hotel surrounding area is a bit dirt but as as woman travelling alone and used with London areas I didin't feel unsecure besides the not so clean and a bit dark neighbourhood. GOOD: price - awesome rate; location - 100 meters from Port de Clignancourt metro stop; staff - friendly, courtious and responsive; room - not a high end hotel, but small room was comfortable, clean, and adequate as a place to rest after long days; neighborhood amenities - McDonald's and KFC on corner by Metro, supermarket between hotel and Metro, overall […] quiet multi-ethnic neighborhood. BAD: noise - room 15 overlooked street and got lots of traffic and bar noise (one across street), but quieted quickly after midnight, interior building noise was noted room to room and early (4am) lobby cleaning. I like the location of this hotel, conveniently located a few meters away from a metro station. Service was good and the hotel personnel was quite helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay there, the location was great. All the big sites were walking distance from the hotel and the area was beautiful in general. I was happy with it

Hotel staff is friendly and location is convenient, but the hotel needs maintenance and neighborhood can be somewhat rough for some people. If you're on a budget and have no problem with a lively and very diverse neighborhood, this hotel is more than OK.

The location was superb as the Metro station was just down the street. The cost of the hotel was exceedingly reasonable for Paris. The room was very clean and just big enough to be comfortable. My wife and I recently stayed at Hotel Iliade Paris XVIII for 4 nights, on September 3-7. The hotel itself was clean for the most part. The elevator was very tiny. It hardly fits two people without any luggage. When we were checking in and out of the hotel, we had to take two trips in the elevator, first I went with my luggage, and then my wife with […] her luggage. The room was surprisingly clean, but very small. We got two twin beds, and that what I recommend for two people. Don't get one queen bed, because it will be very uncomfortable stay. The shower was the worst part of our room. It is very small stand up shower with a curtain. It's so small that curtain kept sticking to my body while I was taking a shower. The curtain drips water on the bathroom floor, and if you are not careful, you will have a puddle on the bathroom floor by the time you are done taking a shower. I just used one of the towels to clean the puddle. There is very little shelf above the sink in the bathroom, for hygiene items. But, it was not enough to hold all of your hygiene items. The hotel staff was friendly and courtieous. All of them speak little bit of English. My wife wanted me to borrow iron from the front desk, since there are no irons or ironing boards in the room. So, I went every morning and asked them for iron. Sometimes they gave me just the iron, and sometimes they gave me iron and ironing board. Checking in and out was very easy, since we already prepaid through hotels.com. Room service does pretty good job cleaning rooms, but they come early sometimes, around 9-10am. This can be a little too early for people. The neighboorhood where the hotel is located is kinda sketchy. But, we usually got back to the hotel around 1am, and we felt safe walking around in that neighboorhood. There is a lot of arabic fast food restaurants in that neighboorhood. The room was simple and small but efficient and clean. Receptionist was pretty helpful.. he even let me use his cell phone to let know my cousin I was in town! When I travel alone, I look for economy and this hotel has what I generally look for: price with relative cleanliness/comfort. But I wouldn't think of bringing my wife here. My experience there was not good. The hotel was fine. It's no palace, but is everything you expect in this price range. Had read previous reviews and they were right. A good hotel at reasonable rates for Paris .

Th hotel was close to the metro which made the whole of Paris minutes away. The room and shower room were small, but clean and adequate for our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful and didn't mind me practicing my french on them. Value for money.

As I said in my previous review on this hotel (note that we had 3 separate reservations -- stayed here, then went to Normandy, back to this hotel, off to Amsterdam, then were suposed to come back to this hotel for a third leg).....there were problems with our shower that they didn't even attempt to fix, but rather only made worse by taking our shower […] head away and us not being able to use it at all, and having to wait for a new room the next day. Because of this, we ended up cancelling our third reservation at this hotel and bookign somewhere else. Other than that, the hotel was as expected for the price and the area it was located in. Overall, this is not a bad hotel. But it's located in an area that many people might consider unpleasing. It was fine for us. About a 15 minutes subway ride to the center of Paris. Personne à l'accueil pas aimable du tout, pas du tout à l'écoute et un peu donneur de leçon. Chambre mal odorante (odeur de choux) à cause des sanitaires mal évacuées. Chambre qui ne s'ouvre pas avec la carte magnétique ; obligé de demander à l’accueil de venir ouvrir... Hotel à déconseiller fortement, le prix n'étant pas vraiment compétitif.

Hotel proche de la gare du Nord, restaurant proche, facile d'accès avec des tarifs raisonnables.

J ai séjourné à l hôtel illiade 1semaine et le service est de qualité. C est 1 hôtel tout à fait abordable pr Paris et qui allie confort,sécurité et propreté. Au vu du prix et comparé à bon nombre d' établissement à paris, les arguments de promotion sont respectés!

Pour le prix que j'ai pu avoir, c'est très raisonnable. Hormis l’ascenseur, l'hotel est propre et bien situé (400m M°Porte de Cliancourt).

É um hotel antigo em um local afastado das principais atrações, sendo necessário o uso do metro para chegar até elas. O Staff é eficiente e disposto a ajudar e o café da manhã de boa qualidade. O quarto é pequeno e levemente confortável, mas não tivemos sorte, pois o nosso tinha o aquecedor quebrado, foi necessário trocar de quarto e nos foi dado um […] quarto com duas camas de solteiro, no lugar de uma cama de casal e com um chuveiro sem suporte, sendo necessário utilizá-lo a mão. L'hotel è in un quartiere periferico e non molto bello. E' molto comodo per la metropolitanta che è raggiungibile in 1 minuto a piedi. L'albergo è però vecchio e le camere sono parecchio sporche e rovinate, il bagno piccolissimo e sporco e le pareti ammuffite!

No es un hotel para gente exigente, es sencillo, barato y la gente me trato muy bien, algo raro en los hoteles de Paris. Un hotel de su misma calidad vale tres veces mas en Roma. No usar taxi porque resulta extremadamente caro. Con el transporte No tendras problema, el hotel esta bastante lejos de los centros turisticos tradicionales de la ciudad pero […] el metro queda a unos pasos del hotel, si te ubicas bien con el tren la ubicacion no sera problema. Riktig nok billig men det hjelper ikke.Det var så mye sosial nød rundt område at det er skremmende og gå dit.Servicen på hotellet var super dårlig ,alle satt i private tlf. Rommmet vegg til vegg teppe ,som var meget allergi frembringende ,luktet skittent..

De très grandes améliorations ont été entreprises sur cet hotel ....! Il est très accueillant de part son personnel que par sa chambre (nouveau TV , petite bouilloire ds la chambre très appréciable le matin!!) j'y retournerai à coup sur lors d'un prochain séjour à PARIS.

ロンドンからユーロスターでパリに行ったのですが、北駅から4号線で5駅目と利便性は抜群。駅から出たところの治安が…とほか方のレビューにあったので、若干心配はしていたが、駅からも徒歩2-3分で特に心配はなかった。駅から出たところにはマックもあり、ホテルの斜め前あたりにはマルシェもあり便利。ホテルも1人には十分広く、またきれいに掃除もしてあってよかった。 おススメです♪

Hotellin hinta ja sijainti olivat hyviä, vain puoli korttelia metroasemalle. Katu edessä aika rauhaton, meteliä aamuyöhön. Kylpyhuoneessa oli ikäväksemme torakoita.

Das Hotel Iliade liegt verkehrsgünstig: die Metro ist um die Ecke, Gare du Nord (RER zum Flughafen) und Gare de l'Est (ICE nach Deutschland) sind nur wenige Metrostationen entfernt. Sacre Coeur ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar Supermarkt, Bäckerei, Restaurants vor der Tür.

Har været på kort efterårsferie med 4 overnatninger. God reception/service . Rent og pænt. Spændende kvarter, alle vi mødte var rare. Helt ok til prisen. Husk at morgenmad koster 7 euro

Hotellet midt i det hele.Personalet er meget hjælpsomme .Et lille men godt hotel kan anfefales i Paris.Udmærket, variabel morgenmad.

Vi skulle bare bruge et billigt sted at overnatte en nat, men da man vågnede med hold i nakken fordi madrasserne var meget bløde, så kan man ikke være særlig tilfreds med det, men tilgengæld ligger det meget tæt på metro og busstation.
