Hotell Travelodge Dublin City Rathmines - Dublin

Hotellet tillhandahåller enkla men fräscha rum. Det ligger ganska långt från city, men flera bussar stannar på hållplatsen precis utanför hotellets entré. Att promenera till city tar ca en halvtimme. Området är trevligt och erbjuder ett flertal restauranger och pubar. Hotellpersonalen är trevliga och hjälpsamma.

Great location and helpful staff, but room a little tired looking and not quite as clean as it could be.

It was the usual Travel Lodge - basic but acceptable. Breakfast is expensive so I choose to eat mine in a local restaurant - better and cheaper for "full irish". Location was excellent for where I needeed to be the next morning. Reception staff were good and helpful.

Clean good sized rooms. Can park outside after 7 pm although have to be away by 7 am next morn! All good.

The room had a nice view of the courtyard which looked like residence. The staff was fabulous and very accommodating. Even helped to print our boarding tickets which was very unexpected. Wifi was great even though having to pay for it. Will stay again as great location and great staff !

Very spacious, clean etc my only gripe was the fact that I had to turn the heating on myself after arrival it was a cold frosty night and it took about an hour before the room temperature approached normal. Apart from that I was very happy with the Travelodge.

Took too long for staff to get key card ready, another guy finally helped the 1st guy to do it. No welcome of any kind, just left standing. Room heating was off and when I turned it on it made loads of noise. Had a bad nights sleep due to machinery noise of some kind coming from nearby, reception wasn't interested when I said this the next morning. […] Would not stay here again. We found the Hotel excellent, beds lovely ,thick duvets and pillows, clean linens.Staff very friendly and helpful. we loved the situation of the hotel but some may find it a little out of the way of Dublin's varied lifestyles. The room on this visit was not as good as on previous occasions as the windows let in a lot of outside noise and it didn't seem to have been vacuumed properly. Other than that it is a good budget hotel in a good location with easy access to the city.

wonderful location for visiting the city, staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel was excellent value for money. Couldn't ask for more.

Saff were very helpfull and friendly. Checking in was very easy as was checking out. Room clean though a cigarette smell was obvious through our stay. (Rooms became non - smoking in April this year.) Did have to keep windows open for alot of the time...which then let in noisy traffic and machinery outside our window. Our room was also opposite the linen […] cupboard and the staff first thing in the morning were very jolly as we could hear their conversations, laughing, whistling and alot of moving of equipment/ toiletries etc. So much for a lie-in. Perfect if you just want somewhere to lay your head for a few hours that is reasonably priced and convenient to many locations. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was road facing and traffic started pretty early in the morning. My main complaint was that the Shower had no cold water and the hot was very hot so much so I wasn't able to stand […] it and had to give up on having one. Läs mer

Bright, spacious room with full bathroom facilities - generally very clean but TV remote control was grubby. No restaurant or bar, so service experience confined to helpful reception staff. On main road with frequent bus service to city centre. Good choice of shops and cafes/restaurants in vicinity.

Very good hotel and excellent location, but as always city parking can be a problem and the hotel has just a few spaces available. If you are lucky enough to get a space it is really very good indeed.

This is a great option if you are seeing Dublin. It about 15 min walks to city centre and there are so many busses passing by your door. The room was very large and basic but has got everything you need.

It is too bad that hotels like this state that they are smoke free and then the room smells like an ash tray. When you tell the front desk that the room smells of smoke the answer is always the same, they do not allow smokers in the rooms so it can't be their fault. Great location, great place to stay. Would have been nice to have had a double bed (rather than 2 singles) especially as I put this as a preference. Oh well better luck next time

Hotel location is fabulous - short walk from the city centre and in the middle of an awesome suburb. The room did not have a hair dryer as stated nor was there much ability to control the environment bar open/close the window or put on in room heater. We would have preferred to cool it down a bit with the air con.

Found it strange that the hotel offered tea & coffee making facilities in the room but no soap in the bathroom. Also, the hairdryer that they provided from reception did not work. However, the bed was very comfortable. When we couldn't check in early, we left our luggage in their luggage room. I found it concerning though that they did not label the […] suitcases with any tickets/receipts to mark that they are ours. As there were plenty of items in the storage room, dishonest people could just claim that some items are theirs even though they aren't. Good hotel for one or two nights stay due to its location. Very competitive rate and excellent value for money. Beside bus stop into city centre and also beside all amenities i.e. shops, bars and restaurants in Rathmines. Very clean and comfortable room with all necessities provided. Stayed in the Travelodge Rathmines last weekend and never again! It was freezing. The radiator did not work in the room and all they could offer was a blow heater, which was very annoying when trying to sleep, so had to turn off and put up with the cold!

When I booked this hotel I chose it because parking in hotels in Dublin is notoriously a rip off. I searched on complimentary parking which to me infers free, so when I got there i was surprised and dissapointed to find a 6 euro charge had been applied, apparently the free parking is not applicable atthis Travelodge. The hotel were very helpful but […] insistent that the charge was payable as I could not provide any evidence, they indicated Expedia was out of date in this regard. The booking idciated free wifi but I could not see how this was accessed as the only information indicated it was chargeable. Hotel was basicbut clan and pleasant enough for what was only an en route stopover . But i owuld caution against assuming you will get the free parking that appears to be offered! Läs mer
