"Ramada in Hutchinson ks"
Close to hospital, shopping, resterants. The rooms were clean and nice. There was lack of comunication between clerks Put us in room with no heat(which they knew about) then moved us and gave us keys to a different room.Wouldn't of been a problem but when we got locked out there was a lot of walking. They told us when we got there and asked about the […] heat in room that it was a nice day so they weren't turning heat on til 6:30pm. Never heard of such a thing at a hotel. Läs mer
"Ramada - Hutchinson KS"
The room temperature was 80 degrees and the heat wasn't even on. Tried to turn on air conditioning but it didn't work. Shower wouldn't drain. We complained at checkout, they didn't offer any kind of re-imbursement or even an apology.
"Nothing worked"
Nothing worked. Should have known when I walked in the room and the temperature was 82 degrees that I was off to a rough start. The television picture was fuzzy on most channels and had wavy lines on others. Got the room cooled down to 75 degrees four hours later. It wouldn't go lower than that. Well no need to watch T.V., so I just turned in. Got up […] - had to use my phone for an alarm - the alarm clock didn't work. Got showered and decided it's time to iron a shirt. Wow, the iron doesn't work. Actually it's cracked where the water (used for steam) leaks out. Put on wrinkled shirt and check out - straight to the cheaper hotel across the parking lot. I had no problem at the hotel. It needs to be updated a bit, but the staff was very nice and the room was clean.

"No frills but good location"
The hotel is certainly big and in a good location. It is a bit no-frills. We were given a room that looked out into a lobby -- not an exterior view. The bar is good. Staff is friendly. It is quiet. And the price was appropriate.
"Runs a little shy of being Recommendable"
I was a little indifferent, but have come to the decision that I would not recommend this hotel to a couple or a family, but if you just needed to rest your head it would probably do. The shower water fluctuated from cool to warm, sometimes hot to cold, that was not fun. Its kinda out of the way, and you do have to get out and drive if you want to […] go somwhere, really not what i would consider walking distance from anything. The pillows on the bed were tiny, guess im just used to being overrun with pillows during hotel stays. Some of the staff was ok, as a matter of fact the young woman that I spoke with in the morning was very nice and helpful Oh and the pool area is still under construction, only half of the pool area was available, and the hours are 9am to 9pm so you had better swim early. That being said if I brung my kids they would have loved the pool area, they have a nice play area with slides for smaller children Another plus is that there was a bar in hotel so drinking and driving never even had to be a thought, and it was actually a good time, just so happened i was there on karoke night, and the staff made the night a little more fun. Rooms are average. OK in size, the entire facility is in need of an update. The breakfast, while included in the price is less than standard bagels, toast, wafflemaker, cereal, juice and coffee.

"Not impressed"
The two young ladies working the front desk were great. Everything went down hill from there. The hotel charges for internet service. There is a sports bar in the hotel which becomes 21 and older after a certain time. When I tried to order room service I was told that there was no one available to deliver the meal to my room. When I replied that I would […] come pick it up the lady taking my order acted like it was an inconvenience for her to take a "to go" order. Would not recommend. My stay was for 4 nights. We only had hot water for the first day. The refrigerator leaked resulting in wet carpet. There were nats in the room. Every night when we returned the key would not open the door and we would have to go the front desk to have the key re-coded.

This hotel was dirty and run down, in need of a MAJOR overhaul. This web site said that they were recently renovated....not sure where? If it weren't for the pool area for my two young boys I would have gone elswhere. They advertise a hot and cold breakfast but the only thing that was hot was a waffle maker. "Security & Housekeeping"
I was very concerned when Housekeeping (man) knocked on my hotel door at 9:00 p.m. (PM). I have never experienced Housekeeping knocking at night - I even had the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign hanging from my door on the outside. This alarmed me considerably. When I spoke with the front desk, I was told that housekeeping and the security guy do that all the […] time. Really? In today's society? I believe Ramada should reconsider this policy immediately. This is the ONE reason that I would hesitate staying at another Ramada Inn. I am a female that travels alone and I do not want these interruptions EVER! Close to Restaurants and Mall, Target, Wal-Mart but not recommended walking distance. This hotel is under construction and just changed hands from the Grand Prairie Hotel..It smells like there is a sewer system by the 300 room numbers..No fitness center available :(...I will not stay there again. "not worth the price"
