"Good thing is near Bristol"
Our room was never cleaned the entire time we were there. Never given clean towels. The breakfast was stale cereal and coffee was almost never made. The TV only got one channel - the remote had no batteries. The service was awful.
Clean, reasonably priced, relatively quiet--good for a short overnight stay.

Adequate but overpriced. Bathtub drain was plugged and the tub would not drain, but the manager used a plumber's friend to open it up and then cleaned the tub (first floor room). Breakfast was just muffins and coffee--nothing exceptional. Ice machine was hidden away on second floor--went on a safari to find it. "Red Carpet Inn Canadaiga"
Hotel is near the CMAC where we attended a concert. It is suitable if you are just going to spend the night. Room had a stale, smokey smell and we had to keep the window open. As our room was on the road side the traffic noise woke us up a little earlier than planned. The owners were nice and a minimal but adequate breakfast was provided.

The Red Carpet Inn is a very good basic, no frills hotel, conveniently located on Rtes. 5 & 20 in Canandaigua, NY. Staff was friendly. Our room was ready and waiting for us, even though we arrived early. I probably would not want to stay there for a week if the hotel stay is truly important to your trip, but for a couple of days of basic needs, it is […] quite respectable. Place was clean; room was plenty big and had a jacuzzi bathtub inside. Hotel manager was friendly and helfpul. Continental breakfast was available (cereal and little packaged muffins).
