Stannade där under två dagar, hotellet var väldigt centralt belagt, nära till allt. Rummet var bekvämt, fräscht och trevligt. Fräscht badrum med badkar och dusch. Inga störningar av grannar eller så. Frukosten var trevligt och enkelt: English breakfast, mackor, flingor, juice och frukt. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

Maltas främsta semesterort är St Julians som ligger längs de båda bukterna St Julians och St George. Den vackra Spinola-bukten (en del av St Julians-bukten) kantas av restauranger med utsikt över färgranna traditionella båtar och moderna yachter. I bukten finns även stora hotell, strandbad och en liten marina. I Paceville en bit inåt land är det tätt mellan nattklubbarna och här ligger också shopping- och nöjeskomplexet Bay Street.

"Not a 5 star hotel"
I´m writing in English because I want it to be read by more. This hotel is supposed to have 5 stars and I give maximum 4 (3+). The hotell needs a renovation. Service for breakfast is good, but I have eaten better in hotels with lower standards. Beds were very good. We had a room with a nice view and sun shining into the room for the most part of the […] day. Opposite the rooms had only sun in the morning. Have in mind that we were staying in the hotel from Xmas to after New Year. As usual there are some personal who should work somewhere else. For the price you pay - no way 5 star! "Extraordnär service"
Har bott på Corinthia i Prag tidigare, men detta hotell utmärker sig mucket poitivt på servicen. Verkligen hjälpsam och trevlig personal och inga strul under hela resan. Kanon hotell med mycket trevliga personal! blev behandlade som kungar då vi accepterade att bo på grannhotellet första natten, spelade ingen roll för oss eftersom det var på samma ställe! fick dessutom uppgradering till Executive rum för resten av vistelsen, en gratis middag för hela familjen! läget var kanon med egen del vid havet och flera pooler […] på hotell området. "A pleasant stay at Corinthia"
We, a swedish family with a 2-year old child, stayed at the hotel in the first week of August. It was a very nice hotel. We stayed in a two-room suite on the 4:th floor with access to the lounge offering drinks thru the day, plus a small breakfast and a small snack between 6-7 pm. The rooms were large and well cleaned, often twice a day. Staff was very […] friendly and helpful. I was a bit disappointed by the slow Internet access thru cable (about 0.5 Mbit/s) but the IT staff was very helpful (it was quicker on his PC, about 5 Mbit/s on his PC so I guess something was wrong with my PC. The wifi worked well in the lobby area and also at the pool area. Beds were very comfy. As usual on most hotels, the AC fan noise could have been lower. The two pools were great and there was another community pool close by. The pools had fresh water which I think is better for children compared to salt water that some hotels seems to have. The price at the hotel restaurant is high but there are some good options just within a minute walk from the hotel. About 10 minutes walk away, there is a quite nice beach and a modern shopping center, a lot of bars and a few restaurants.The weather was hot (+35 degrees C, and never below 25 degrees C in the night) but as long as you stayed at the pool area during the day it was ok. We had a car and had to pay 3 euros per day. I think that this could have been included in the quest rate. The hotel area is quite and calm so I can really recommend this hotel. This is not a 5 star hotel, honestly I would rank it as 3+. the service is very bad and the staff is far from service minded. The facilities itself is good (soa, pool) as well as the location. We had 2 delux sea view rooms but I still don't understand why it was called delux. A delux room in a 5 star hotel is quite delux. I would rank our room as delux […] in a 3 star hotel. Ett mycket trevligt hotell med intresserad oich hjälpsam personal. Bra behandlingar på hotellets Spa-avdelning. Ovanligt sköna sängar och trevliga rum. "Not quite what it should be"
I stayed here with my boyfriend for 4 nights this May and all though the hotel is ok, it's nothing more, especially considering the price. Everything at the hotel is very expensive. The food is not very good and very pricy compared to the excellent meals we had around the rest of Malta. The people who work there are very nice, though, and the service […] is good. The hotel is very resort-like filled with families and drunk middle-aged tourists... not a good sport for a romantic get-away. It's an OK hotel to have just as a comfortable base and then rent a car to go around the rest of Malta, but if this is all you need there are less expensive alternatives for this. "Mixed review"
Our taxi met us at the airport perfectly, and our check in experience was great. We asked for a King Deluxe sea view and got a Queen Deluxe sea view. Parts of the room were from the 60's. The hinges on the bathroom door and the door stop were really old school. The balcony was nice and the grounds were pretty. You needed to not be in a hurry to explore […] them. They had a number of dead ends and no proper way to get to the shore. We were charged for room service we did not order and the charge was taken off our bill without issue. The food was expensive and not great quality for a 5 star hotel and spa. The coffee though was the best we have ever had!! "Excellent Hotel Poor management"
The hotel itself is excellent, but, if my experience is any thing to go by, the attention of the staff/management to the needs of a business traveller leaves a lot to be desired. I wasvisited by a local business associate mid-morning and despite a cafe not being at all busy we were ignored until my companion had to go and get a waiter to take our order […] and then again to get a bill. I left the hotel for a meeting and got back at 1500 to find the room had not been made up. At the last minute a morning meeting, out of the hotel, on the day I was checking out, was delayed. I called reception to ask if i could have a sightly delayed check out, at 13.30 (normal check out was 12.00), to be told that this was not possible as the hotel was fully booked. "Disappointment with Suite Class Rooms & amenities"
A very nice hotel but..... We made reservations for the suites and thought there would be extra benefit to staying in the suites but it was not worth the money. We will visit again but next time we will just stay in one of the regular rooms. It was classed as a 5 star hotel. i would put it as 3 maybe 4 star at most. one day room was not seviced. It was difficult to get bar service in the evening. I was disappointed. After staying at the Corinthia property in Libya, I expected this to be similar. The lobby is nice but my room number 11 was seriously in need of updating. In addition, the bathroom toilet and floor wasn't clean and had to have the housekeeper come and clean. They either have bad housekeeping or little over sight, because they also […] forgot spoons for the tea service. I was especially put off when the reception called me 20 minutes before check out to "remind" me of the check out time. I guess I expect better service from a 5 star hotel. Hotel was great. Bed is very comfortable. Dangerous bed. Location is uphill. Only 10 min walk to city center. When I walk down to city center, taxi is best way on the way back. Then I got room on no.5 which exactly match what I have seen. I spent 3 nights at this hotel and there were only a people stay on 5 FL. but almost full on 4 FL. So I asked some hotel staff and she said 5 FL. normally reserve for Emirate crew!! If hotel does not want normal guest stay on 5 FL. which rooms are totally better than 4 FL, I recommend this hotel to change their junior suite room pictures from all website including hotel website. "Pleased with choice"
Staff very friendly and responded well to problems. Our room safe didn't work on arrival but security man came up within 5 minutes and it was repaired by the time we got back from our outing. Concierge very helpful in sorting out trips and reception very promptly sorted out a problem with our airport transport. Good range of restuarants which meant […] we didn't have to venture out of the complex at night. Nearby Paceville was quite convenient for shopping essentials but was not an area that appealed to us. Nevertheless it was easy to get to other places and the Maltasightseeing buses came down to the hotel. Low score on cleanliness was mainly due to the balcony which had cigarette ends and paper wrappers on it when we arrived. Our bed covers and cushions were not replaced on two days and there was some missing grouting in the bathroom. Otherwise everything was fine. The pool area was lovely and peaceful. Stayed in this hotel for 6 days at the beginning of April. Very disappointed with the hotel. The pictures looked nice and the reviews were ok so I booked it. However, our room was not just dirty it was filthy... it smelt of sewage and it was the worst 5star hotel I have ever stayed it considering we go away at least three times a year and stay in 5 […] star.St Julian's is a bit boring, not much to do although it is very close to Valletta which is beautiful. The hotel is located next to Corinthia sister 4 star hotel, people staying there can use Corinthia 5 stay facilities, so it might be worth saving and stay next door and enjoy 5 star facilities anyway!
