Hotell Residence Inn by Marriott New York Manhattan/Times Square - New York

Vettigt beläget hotell. Vänlig personal. Rummen mindra än förväntat. Begreppet "du får vad du betalar för" känns väl inte direkt relavant när det gäller detta hotel men i en storstad så det ju alltid dyrt att bo centralt och det är en sanning som bekräftas även i New York.

Ett grymt bra hotell. Bra läge! Defintivit bra frukostbuffé som ingår; det finns "allt" ; yoghurt, fil, bagels, sylt, kaffe, te, mjölk, smörgåsar, ägg... Det är bara att välja och vraka och man blir mätt också. Ett fräscht hotell med närhet till Times Square och 5th Avenue. Tunnelbana finns bara "runt hörnet"! Suveränt!

Bra hotell med trevlig personal och perfekt läge på Manhattan. Vi var tre som bodde på ett dubbelrum sex nätter(dubbelsäng+bäddsoffa). Rent och fint med allt man behöver - pentry, diskmaskin, micro, kyl/frys. Frukostbuffé ingår. Frukostbuffén var över förväntan med mycke att välja på och fräscht (yoghurt, musli, flingor, gröt, olika sorters bröd, ägg, […] äggröra, skinka/bacon, våfflor, muffins, frukt, kaffe, juice m.m.) åkte med två tonåringar och bokade rum med dubbelsäng och bäddsoffa. Mycket bra kök med diskmaskin och kyl/frys och porslin etc lätt att införskaffa bra mat på en minut avstånd... mycket trevlig personal behövde först checka ut kl 14 för oss bästa läget trevligt med Bryant Park så nära rum med utsikt på Empire State Building mycket nöjda:-) :-) :-)

Bra hotell med perfekt läge, nära till allt. Trevlig och serviceminded personal. Rummet var fullt utrustat med pentry, diskmaskin, micro, kyl och frys. Vi var tre personer så en av oss fick ligga i bäddsoffa. Vi återkommer gärna till detta trevliga hotell.

Det var rent, snyggt och med liten köksdel med kyl och frys med mera i rummet. När vi behövde använda bäddsoffan var ena lakant trasigt i omstoppshörnet. Badrummet var lite väl litet, det blev trångt när dörren gick inåt. Ganska stora fönster med härlig skyskrapeutsikt. Frukosten var över förväntan även om frukt saknades några dagar. Bästa läget, modernt, frukost ingick. I lägenheten fanns även ett fullt utrustat kök vilket underlättar om man vill spara in pengar på mat osv. Är man 3 personer så är detta ett mycket prisvärt hotell. Klart rekommenderat!

i had a very good stay here. i was surprised with how big the room was. the room was very clean and modern. the best part was the free breakfast- hot food, wide selection and tasty. great customer service by all staff. i would definately stay there again

The rooms were small but comfortable. The hotel seemed a bit run down but I believe they are in the process of renovations. Lobby very small but employees very helpful and accomodating.

I am actually starting to like New York City... This was a very nice hotel for the price range. Great breakfast. Had one of the best sleeps for a long time. Very convenient to where I was working.

The hotel was in a great location close to Times Square and the Theater District. The room was cozy and comfortable, the hot breakfast was really good. The hotel staff were all very nice and helpful but Judy the Concierge was extremely helpful - it was our first time to NYC and she went out of her way to try to make sure that we had a pleasant stay. […] She set us up on the Golden Touch tour and it was a great overview of the high points of the city. The only suggestion I would have is to supply an extra comforter for those who will be using the sleep sofa...the blanket that was supplied was very thin - not as comfortable as a comforter would have been. Fantastic location in the heart of the City. Room was clean and comfortable with great views as well. Getting in and out during peak times (check-in and breakfast) was a nightmare because the elevators were always full. This Residence Inn by Marriott was the perfect place to stay for a family vacation. It was close to sightseeing, especially within walking distance to the Empire State Building, Times Square, and the theaters. The room was clean and very comfortable, and surprising quiet for a major city. It had a little kitchenette but the buffet breakfast was so good […] we only needed the refrigerator. The staff was very helpful, including the concierge, and our car came out of valet quickly. The only improvement I would suggest is improving how long it takes to wait for an elevator - there was often a line, and when it stopped at our floor it was often full. Maybe housekeeping could avoid the "elevator rush hours". Otherwise, five stars for a wonderful stay. Läs mer

Great price for location, quality, cleanliness, etc. Friendly helpful staff, free breakfast a plus, Stayed only two days but perfect for longer stays if looking to save some money because of kitchen. Close to stores, Broadways shows, Times Square, etc. Only small problem was the window latch was broken and some street noise got in. Good hotel at a great location. Rooms are clean and kitchenette was quite handy. Very good (and free) breakfasts. Only negative was the wait for the elevators.

The kitchenette in our room was impressive. I did't expect a full sized dishwasher and fridge. It's a great place to stay because of easy access to the subway. There are a couple of quick, good restaurants across the street. Le Pain Quotidien and Pret Manger. Bryant Park is a great place for a morning cup of coffee.

Location is great! Close to everything on Times Square. The buffet breakfast had lots of variety and choices for those watching their weight. There was a deli on the next corner where you could get a fresh salad made and choose your ingredients. Would definitely stay again when visiting New York.

The Residence Inn is very conveniently located near Penn Station, Times Square and many other sites. The bed was very comfortable and the buffet breakfast excellent. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to NYC. Absolutely no complaints.

My wife and I could not have been happier with this hotel. Good location, good price, very clean, and excellent service. Free internet and a free morning buffet that was good, nothing super fantastic but standard buffet fair.

Excellent location and very satisfied with our hotel room and comfort of the bed. Breakfast was included which was decent but nothing to rave about. It was convenient to have the kitchen space, but the "suite" name is confusing, as there was no separate bedroom area. Nearby Bryant Park was lovely.

This is a great hotel which is very affordable. Every Staff and service person I encountered was absolutely "Top-Notch". The room was very clean and comfortable and the location is absolutely wonderful and across the street from Bryant Park. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. We loved it!

I took this hotel because the hotel I usually stay at was fully booked (business traveler). I found this hotel very comfortable, with friendly staff and a very nice breakfast buffet. Conveniently located in the heart of Manhattan!

A bew blocks away from times square. Therefore perfect location. The room was neat. gave us a room on the 30th floor, the view from there was spectacular. The concierge suggest a restaurant around called jack's for a late night dinner. worked out fantastic. although i found a mouse in the concierge area when i was checking out. :(

- all tourist sights are within easy-to-reach distance. Public transportation is around the corner. The room was spacious enough for us 3 people and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I especially liked the provided breakfast. It helps starting your day right when you don't have to leave your hotel with an empty stomach.

Stayed at the Residence Inn 2 years ago. Loved it then & truly love it now. Perfect every time.

Very happy with the room and location. Will use this hotel again next time we are in NY The kitchen area in the room was very useful as we could keep food and drinks in the fridge and buy in meals from the deli next door. Good price for NY and one of the best, more open and usable spaces of any hotel we have stayed in for NY, which is a lot over the last 30 years of making frequent trips to the city. Staff is always super friendly. Easy access to subway. Always super clean. Not a huge hotel so elevators are not slow and the lobby doesn't get crowded.

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was a good size. I hear a lot about how small the rooms are in NY, but I didn't really get that impression from this place. Small kitchenette, nice clean bathroom, clean room. TV kinda small, but who cares when you have NY right out side your doorstep. The breakfasts were great. I stayed there for one nite over the memorial Day weekend and boy..was I impressed. I am big on getting great customer service and this hotel exceeded my expectations in every regard. I have to say that upon arriving at the Hotel, I was prepared with low expectations as I've stayed at other hotels during my previous visit to the Big Apples. However, this wasn't the case - as the Residence Inn by Marriott hotel had surpass all of my expectations. Check Inn was pretty quick as we were assigned a room on the 28th floor. The room we […] were given was very spacious for NY standards. Plus, a sofa bed was provided as to cater for the extra two people that travelled with me. Kitchen was good enough if you want to reheat some late night food - which you might have bought from the food carts around NY. We were also provided with a dishwasher (including extra dish washing powder), huge fridge and a slow cooker. The breakfast buffet was just amazing. Everything was in order and there wasn't anytime during my stay that they actually ran out of food. Even if you came down late, there's still always food around. Food quality is excellent and well seasoned. Plus, I like the range of breakfast that hotel can offer from Oats, Cereal, Omelletes, Red Potatoes, Fruits, Pancakes, Bread and the list goes on. Area wise - it is pretty central as it is just 2 blocks away from Bryant Park and Macy's Herald Square. You can definitely consider this hotel - to make a pit stop for your shopping bags to be left at the hotel. Also, its just 10 mins away from Times Square as well. In terms of Taxi, you will definitely get one in an instant especially to and fro JFK airport. Overall, it is a superb hotel with excellent amenities to be situated in the heart of NYC. Great location for empire state bldg, times sq mid town activites! Rooms w/sofa bef and kitchen were not huge but suffiecient for 3 adults + toddler. Full Breakfast was bonus and value add, just go early.

Great place to stay, has the nice in room kitchen. There is a gym, a grade A breakfast and the check in and service was lightning fast...

Stayed here for 6 nights on a business trip. Ideal having the kitchen for a 6 night stay - the breakfast is ok but I prefer to be able to make a coffee and some toast in the room. Wifi worked really well & great to have this included when many other hotels charge for this, which is not fair. All the staff were friendly & helpful. Housekeeping was […] fine too. Rooms are large by New York standards. Only slight negative was that the gym is very basis but considering the location & the great rate I was more than happy with this hotel.
