Ett relativt nytt hotell som var mycket fräscht, frukostbuffe 10 EUR extra. Ligger i halvskumt område, dock nära till Hauptbahnhof. Finns lounge/bar på hotellet. Vi provade bastun på våning 1, larmet gick oavbrutet i den och vi blev anklagade för att sätta på det med flit (jo vi ville gärna ha en manlig receptionist springades i bastum hela tiden). […] Det sänkte betyget avsevärt Läs mer

Bra hotell. Nära stationen. Sköna sängar. Större dusch eller badkar hade varit en bonus. Kebaberian till höger om ingången hade fina lammspett med mezestuk. Prisvärt!

Vi hade bokat hotellet sent på lördags natten eftersom att vårat flyg anlände sent. Väl när vi landade så hämtade vi upp våran hyrbil för att sedan ta oss vidare till hotellet. När vi väl va framme var det svårt att hitta parkeringsplats samt ganska så struligt att ta sig in i hotellets infart då det är mycket trafik i Hamburg och folk parkerar hur […] som helst. Men när vi väl hade parkerat och skulle checka in var personalen trevlig och incheckningen funkade utan problem. När jag bokade hotellet för 3 personer så stod det att rummet va med 3 bäddar men när vi väl kom in i rummet så var det 2 sängar samt en extra säng intryckt i en hörnet detta gjorde att rummet vart lite väl litet. Men med tanke på personalens engelska så orkade ingen av oss att ta diskussionen samt att vi alla var trötta. Gatan utanför hotellet är livlig 24 timmar om dygnet man hör polis syrener samt ambulanser titt som tätt, inte nu för att det störde oss så mycket men det kan vara bra att veta. Det ända negativa med hotellet var att sängarna var något fruktansvärt hårda ingen bekvämlighet över huvud taget. Annars var hotellet fräscht och rent! Läs mer

Billigt hotell, men vissa saker upplevde vi som negativa. Personalens attityd, t ex när vi ville ha 2 hotellnycklar. Ifrågasättning av oss och info om att det kostar om vi blir av med nyckeln. (Vi är 2 damer i 60-årsåldern). Med värmebölja på 30 grader och uppåt på dagarna blev hotellrummet en kvav bastu pga avsaknad av air condition. Försökte sova […] med öppet fönster, men utanför hotellet var det fullt ös på alla araber som levde upp om natten - det var mitt i Ramadan! Bodde 3 nätter på hotellet, och inga handdukar byttes under tiden. Inga extrakuddan fanns i rummet. Blev även besviken på att frukost inte ingick. This hotel is situated in St. Georg, a fantastic neighborhood for dining well and watching people. It is also close to the main station (10 mins walk) so one can get everywhere quickly. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was extensive and refilled all the time. The food was fantastic […] too. This hotel is located in a busy area of town. Rooms facing the Main Street are very noisy at night and in the morning so it's difficult to get a good night sleep. The neighborhood looks a bit sketchy. In general the room and hotel are very clean. Most likely I would stay here again but would like to have a room not facing the Main Street.

The hotel is great, a short walk from the station and a 25 minute walk to the centre of the city. The staff were quite rude and unhelpful but the room more than made up for it.

Das Hotel is on the north side of the Railway station, however the city centre, is on the south side. If this is not important, then to go to the hotel, you need to walk along a street full of homeless people, drag queens and strip clubs. This really bothers me. This hotel is located approximately a 5 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof, which is nice, and not very complicated to find. The breakfast is a bit pricey, I didn't go with it, but there are bakeries around if you wanted to go with something a bit smaller. I have seen a couple of other reviews complaining about 'adult stores' in proximity to the hotel. […] This is Hamburg, it is what it is known for. All the ones I walked past to the Hbf, I didn't feel unsafe, I didn't see anything that children shouldn't see, and it definitely isn't the Reeperbahn. Läs mer

I enjoyed my stay at DAS Hotel in Hamburg, which was very convenient located in walking distance to the centre of Hamburg. The Hotel has a nice bar area and free internet and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Would defintely recommend this hotel.

Great Stay, close to underground station on U1. staff efficient and friendly, room comfortable bathroom ok, great shower but small enclosure and make sure your curtain is inside. Recommend the cafe 2 doors down towards central station for breakfast and Batman for cheap quick kebab style meal.

Great location near train station and short walk into main shopping area. Also very close to gay area. Hotel immaculate and nice modern design. Rooms fresh, clean, warm and bright, bathroom small but very clean and newly fitted. Hotel staff very helpful and spoke English. Wifi free. Would recommend for a weekend stay.

IT IS CALLED DAS FOR A REASON---DESIGN AND STYLE. IT HAS THOSE IN PLENTY. ONE THING LACKING WAS SPACE. THE BED WAS TURNED SIDEWAYS TO THE HEADBOARD TO ALLOW A WARDROBE TO BE INSTALLED. EVEN THEN YOU COULD NOT OPEN THE WARDROBE DOOR FULLY. THE PILLOWS MIGRATED TO THE FLOOR SINCE NOTHING TO STOP THEM. FOR ME WHO IS RATHER A PUSSYCAT THE BED WAS A LITTLE […] FIRM----SOME FOLK I KNOW PREFER THAT. THE LINEN AND PROVISIONS WERE SUPERB. THE BATHROOM THOUGH TINY WAS FULLY FUNCTIONAL AND ONLY ONE SMALL NITPICK WAS THE SHOWER CURTAIN WAS VERY FRIENDLY---COULD NOT AVOID GETTING A COLD TOUCH EVERY SO OFTEN. BUT YOU CAN LIVE WITH THAT. This hotel is very convenient if you are arriving at Hamburg Central Station. It's about a 10 minutes walk. The hotel has free WiFi throughout. During my stay the restaurant was closed in the evening (but open for continental breakfast with a wide selection of cereals, meats and cheeses). The local area has lots of cafes / restaurants mainly Middle […] Eastern menus, but if you turn right out of the hotel, and then left opposite the police station and walk to end of the road you will find Italian and German restaurants / bars. I've given the surrounding neighbourhood a 3 largely because you can expect to see all humanity in the walk to the hotel - probably not ideal for children - but don't be put off by this; I'd recommend staying at this hotel if you are visiting Hamburg. Clean and modern, staff helpful and spoke good English - negatives are the room is in the red light district and the room was very small.

The hotel was in a convenient location to the main train station. It was modern and clean. It would have been great if there had been AC or a fan, as it was very hot the weekend I stayed. It was a great value for the price and would recommend to other travelers.

Hotel has been recently renovated so was like new. Could not fault the look and quality of the furnishings and fittings. Ate in the restaurant and found the food to be excellent and good value. Had a more spacious room that I would recommend as any smaller would have been a bit tight for space. Did however notice some noise from other rooms but not […] during the night so was not a problem (sound proofing not as good as most modern hotels). The area would put off families as there was a concentration of sex shops around it and I had to dodge street prostitution especially at night. But this is Hamburg! Hotel is in a Turkish area 10 mins from train station, snacked and had tea in the local Turkish restaurants that offered very good food at a very good price. Läs mer

Very easy to find and close to Railway and Bus Station. Reception staff were a bit casual but courteous and spoke good English, other than that all was fine. My double room was a bit on the small side but very well appointed, stylish and extremly clean. Even though the room faced onto the street, a good night sleep was had. Didn't make breakfast so […] can't comment on food and didn't have a drink at the bar either. For a weekend break in Hamburg I think it's a good cheaper alternative to the more expensive George or Atlantic hotels facing the lake. Great Hotel. The stuff are very nice and they can speech English :). The rooms are clean and modern. But we have problem with the parking, they didnt have place for us. Then we park infront of the hotel, but u can only park for 2 hour for 2 Euro, so u have to be close by to buy a parking tickt every 2 hour... The hotel and facilities are good as is it's location given that it is about 750m from the main station. You do however have to walk through an area of sex shops on route which may be of concern to some people at night.
