Hilton i Venedig är precis så fint som man kan tänka sig - fina rum, knäpptyst, fin utsikt (vilket vi betalade extra för), fantastisk frukostbuffet. Ännu finare hade det dock varit dels om man klarat sig utan båtförbindelse till själva staden, och dels om det tydligt framkommit vid bokningen att det för just detta rum inte gick att få in ytterligare […] en säng till en resenär till. Hotellet hade ett bra läge och det var bra att det ingick båtturer med jämna mellanrum till och från marcusplatsen. Bra service och framförallt en bra frukost. Vi var nöjda med vår vistelse på hotellet men var beredda på att det kostar där.

För att vara ett så pass "fint" hotell, tyckte jag att rummen var ovanligt små och golvytan vara minimal. Dessutom har rummen heltäckningsmatta vilket är något av det värsta jag vet, men det kanske passar alla amerikaner som bor här.Frukosten emellertid helt fantastisk! Bra hotell för familjer med bra service. Som dessutom har en utmärkt shuttle till pl. St. Marco. Minus är att de tar betalt för internetkoppling. Stort plus är polen och baren på taket.

Allt med hotellet var så bra som det kan bli. Men när vi skulle checka ut försökte dom få oss till att betala alldeles för mycket ur minibaren. Men tillslut kom dom fram med rätt faktura på 3flaskor vatten, som vi tagit ur den. Så se upp med det!

By far the best place we have stayed in so far (we just did a 2.5 week holiday through France and Italy) Beautiful rooms with great view (especially from the roof bar). Nutella bar was a highlight as well!! The service was excellent. The only slightly annoying thing was getting heavy luggage to the hotel from the train station. The hotel offers you […] multiple options but it's worth knowing that it's actually the cheapest and straight forward to take the vaporetto (Venice's public ferry system) to Sacca Fisola and rolling the luggage to the hotel (no stairs, mostly flat - about 5-7 mins walk) or taking it to Zattere and waiting for the free hotel shuttle which drops you to the front of hotel. Palanca is close but there are two staired bridges to go over. FYI there is a ferry that takes you to and from the airport as well. The hotel shuttle is great as it takes you to S. Marco and Zaterre. The public water bus stops right at the hotel's doorstep, and the hotel's free shuttle to San Marco Square was very convenient. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. The only negative comment I would have is that I think for the price, the hotel could provide free wifi and access to a computer as many less expensive hotels do.

I don't usually write reviews but this hotel really warranted a great review. Highlights: rooftop pool, eighth floor bar (possible best view in venice), Nutella bar (you've got to treat yourself on holiday), frequent boat from the hotel to San Marco and helpful staff.

We got a good discount, so I can't complain too much. It was the most american of all the hotels we stayed in, and lets face it, the US has probably the BEST bathrooms on average in the world. Brilliant hotel. Make sure you ask for a room high up. You wont stay in front of the canal, but you *may* get a room on the side with a view of the canal. It's one thing to pay a lot for a room that is very nice. It is another to pay $8 for a small bottle of water, $20 for a bloody marry. They should wear masks when they wait on you because it is truly highway robbery!

Hotel was fantastically situated and was of excellent class with a free shuttle to and from the main island all day long. Downside was food and drink prices although many places weren't loads cheaper some of the local restaurants were. A fab stay and hotel!

Stayed as tourists with other family members. fantastic Hotel. Shame we arrived too early to use the swimming pool facilities.! Amazing views too from the roof terrace ! We will go back to this hotel when next in Venice. 5 minute free water taxi back to Venice. Quiet. Best breakfast spread i have ever seen in Europe. Not a great dinner experience in either hotel restaurant we tried but there are so many good places to go in Venice that it doesn't matter.

This hotel was very easy to get to. We took Ali Lagauna shuttle from Cruise terminal. Cost 8 Euro. Dropped us in front of the door. Room very specious. Breakfast was really great. ( Pay on line verses paying there. ) Restaurants and bars were kind of Pricey. Shuttle to Zaitte, and Saint Mark were very easy and frequent. Gave us extra experience in Water. […] We stayed on April 1st and 2nd, it was cold and dreary. St Mark was full of people. Out of front door take right cross 2 bridges and there is a small pizza place. very good pizza for 7 Euros. I think they deliver also. Restaurant past few doors was good but pricey. Although elegant and refurbished, pricing of the Venice Molino Stucky Hilton is not justified. Everything in that Hotel is charged extra -like the basic and fairly poor breakfast (included in price of room in every other hotel we've been to in Italy) Internet - so slow that it didn't realy work - no refund policy strictly applied (in my country free […] Wi-Fi is a basic service in Hotels and restaurants as allowing the use of bathroom or hands washing). All though the hotel is little bit out of way, it has very efficient shuttle system to get you back and forth to San Marcos. The rooms were very large, staff very courteous and helpful. It was very easy to get to from Cruise Ship terminal via ALI LAGUANA boat. 8.00 Euro, and it was to door service. Ride to the airport was from the front door and costed […] 15 Euros. The Hotel is a complex of several buildings. Some are better than others. Stay at the GUIDECCA building and you should be alright- Most the room do not have the 'water view' facing Venice, but the other side which is more city view, but also has water. Our room was very nice and spacious. (I asked for the "suite" which is a corner room with a small […] living room (with no TV) leading into the bedroom separated by a door. this room had 5 windows- nice.The first building we were sent to was a much smaller room, and the entire building smelled a little of mold. I asked to change as I KNEW they weren't evn close to being full, and they said OK.Don't eat or drink here. It is ridiculously expensive. Just get on the Hilton Molino boat which leaves about every 20-40 minutes and get off at San Marco Square and eat there. You can get provisions for your room if you walk out the front of the hotel, turn right, and go all the way past another taxi station. There on your right is a farmacy- Take the street before the farmacy right and go to the COOP. It's a grocery store that has normal food pricing. expected much more for hilton. no amenities except shampoo conditioner and soap. not a convenient place if you are after going to san marco. i suppose its a good stay in the summer when the pool and lounge on the roof deck is open. it was cold and rainy when we went. it was easy enough to take a public transit boat to the palanca stop and walk over […] to the hotel, but it will be very difficult if you have more than one large luggage per person. if i had to go back to venice, wuould i stay there again? maybe. then again i didn't see any other hotel that i felt i would stay in either. most others were hole in the wall places... hope this helps Läs mer

Great hotel, it is only a short boat trip (regular free hotel shuttle) from the hotel to san marco square. The hotel itself is a very impressive looking building and the skybar was very cool.

We had a wonderful mini break in Venice and the Hilton Molino Stucky was the perfect Hotel to stay in. Our room had a most dreamy view over Venice so nice to wake up to on our Anniversary break. The staff was very helpful and the buffet breakfast every morning was not to be missed- it definitely fuelled us for walkign around the canals. I stayed at this hotel in February 2013 with my 15 year old daughter. We were greeting by very friendly reception staff and check in was quick and easy, we were even upgraded to an executive room with a view over the lagoon. The Hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean, the room was not enourmous (as you may expect from an executive room) but it was […] perfectly adequate for our needs and had real character. The hotel is a converted Flour Mill, it has been modernised to the highest standards whilst still retaining a lot of its original character. There is a regular shuttle bus to San Marco which runs in all weathers (I mention that as we were crossing to and fro the lagoon in a snow blizzard!!) The restaurant was very pricey and I wasn't over impressed with the food, however the service from the staff was exceptional. We only ate once in the restaurant and went over to the 'mainland' for all other meals (except breakfast which we had included and which was excellent' Over all a great stay, clean hotel, friendly staff - would definately recomend. Really liked being away from the main hustle & bustle. also super to be able to lol at the main waterfront from the Giaducca waterfront. The lights at night were superb. The courtesy ferry was convenient and local vaporetto buses useful. Good location - easy access to all.

The hotel is located on one end of the island of Giudecca, which is quiet, close to the city center and is easily accessible with the airport shuttle and the free Hotel shuttle. Me and my girlfriend went this Hilton for our anniversary and I am so glad we did. From the moment we walked in we recieved an excellent service and this continued the whole way through our stay. As we told them before arriving, it was our anniversary and when we got to our room, they had decorated the bed with a heart made of rose petals which was […] amazing. Around 10 mins later, we had a knock on our door and one of the staff had bought us a bottle of prosecco in an ice bucket and chocolate covered strawberrys which was so nice of them. They also upgraded our room which made us extremely happy. I saw a few negative comments saying that that this hotel is out the way but I found it great with very easy access to mainland Venice which takes around 5-10mins on the boats which are free that they provide. Also it gives you a chance to see both islands as Guidecca has some lovely restaurants all within a 10 min walk from the hotel, just come out the main exit and go right and they are all along the river. Nice hotel, located outside ou main venice area, so to move you need to suttle boat of the hotel, every 30 min. Very good breakfeast, but the room were very small (for a 5 star hotel.

Top class hotel, great rooms, some people want views; they are available at a price, I chose a basic package and I was very happy with what I received. This particular hotel is large enough to be 'grand' and small enough to be 'friendly'. I've been sailing past the building for years when it was derelict and they've done a great job on the place. The […] amount of interior marble is stunning. The shuttle is very unique and adds to the stay. The rooftop bar is amazing. The breakfast was more than sufficient. One tiny complaint would be the milk was off in the room but this is an issue with all hotels; how do you provide fresh milk in the room unless it is a silly little UHT carton? Whoever solves that problem may be up for an award! Overall our stay was excellent and when I return I shall probably stay there again and maybe pay extra for a view! First class service....you couldn't ask for anything more. The free water taxi to San Marcos Square was so convenient and saved us a lot of time. Usual Hilton type hotel comfortable adult daughter loved the Buffett breakfast after backpacking for 2 months. The hotel free ferry was an added bonus to get across the canal to the main islands but you still need to get a vaporetti pass to travel and explore rest of Venice economically Like many 5 star hotels once inside could have been anywhere but […] if happy to explore all day and then return to the quiet of one of the residential Venetian islands this was no problem. A great hotel. Probably the best you're going to find in Venice. The free hotel boat transfer was reliable and on time but you do have to do a bit of planning as they are not super frequent and half of the transfers don't take you to San Marco. Wifi access is expensive but overall a great stay.

The Molino Stucky is simply outstanding. A fabulous building with unparalleled views over the Giudecca canal and 'mainland' Venice. A regular courtesy water bus service and nearby vaporetto stop.
