This hotel may not look anything special from the outside but it is truly a great vacation spot. Close to the beach, adequate pool area, everything included such as towels, sunchairs, wifi etc, no hidden fees. A wonderful beachfront restaurant/bar called Bongos. Excellent service, affordable prices and live music every night. The turning spinner top restaurant with its beautiful 360 view over St Petes beach is also well worth a visit. Always friendly staff, great drinklist, tasty food and affordable prices. The rooms are nothing fancy but clean and with all the amenities you need. I recommend this hotel for anybody that wants a relaxing getaway at a friendly easy going place with good value for the money.

The fan in the bathroom was not working and the safe could not be used because the previous guest locked it. The door to the pool was not working properly so it was held open by a mat. Worry that you could be locked into the pool area if someone removed the mat. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.Verifierad gästrecension
"Overall great experience"
My boyfriend and I stayed here for the night before heading over to downtown St. Pete. Only 10 minutes away from downtown! Older building, but had a great experience! Staff were really nice and accommodating, I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay again.Verifierad gästrecension

"You get what you pay for"
the refrigerator had to be unlugged because it was so loud, the phone was broken in that 3 times in the middle of the night, it sounded the dial tone over the speaker....I reported the refrigerator the first night, but it was never repaired during two day stay. "Convenient"
I stay at the hotel there because of its location. It is close to my friend's house, serveral good eateries, The Wing House, and most importantly, the Derby Lane dog track, where I like to play poker. The are no frills at the hotel. The air conditioner didn't seem to be able to cool the room and the door lock that you flip over was missing. "Just ok"
The price-point was probably the best part of the hotel. Our room was really musty, and smelled like someone had previously smoked (a lot) in it. We were only staying 2 nights and didn't really have time to change rooms after we got in. So we did not speak to the management about it. You would think that they would check the rooms before placing guests. […] Even after we got home and opened the suit case you could smell the stale smoke odor from the room. Other than that the room was not bad. The free breakfast was what you might expect from a discount hotel free breakfast. "Incredibly Friendly Staff"
We needed a hotel for the night as we headed from Atlanta to Florida. This fit the bill. A bit outdated with an old heater (rattled quite a bit), but comfortable for an overnight stay. We were originally booked into a room that was in need of repair. We had booked a king room and was put into a room with 2 queen beds. It provided me the opportunity to take my pet along while attending a family wedding. My elderly parents also accompanied us. "Friendly and a Good Value"
The front desk people were all helpful and friendly. Our room was clean, everything worked well, and we were not bothered by noise at any time. We stayed mostly for business purposes, needing to be nearby early the next morning. The pool is quite small, as it shows in the online photos, but it was clean and well maintained. The exercise room would be […] a little better if they moved the TV. It was rather small and mounted on the wall on the far right side of where all the equipment faced. The breakfast area was relaxed and sufficient for our needs - standard self-serve breakfast items - waffles, cereals, beverages, pastries, fruit, etc. The hotel is located in a good area, close to grocery stores and a few restaurants that we passed. We had a good night, the breakfast area could use more tables, there were 4 of us and all the tables were taken at 8:00am, some of them had just 1 -2 people, so some smaller tables could be added. Our complaint was mostly located in the bathroom. We noticed hair in tub and on the soap dish in tub. The biggest problem was the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. The room and beds were in great shape. After the first day we learned the 3rd floor was where guest stayed with pets. While I like pets, I would have prefered staying on another floor […] or at least given a choice and informed about the pet situation. Had I been alergic to pets it could have been a real problem. "APD training this hotel worked great"
We went to St Pete for training and found that it was on the main drag, lots of restaurants, some shopping. The breakfast was barebones but enough to get us off to class with coffee, juice and some fruit. They offered more (eggs for protien) Bagels, muffins, waffles etc.. "Nice and comfortable but had some issues!!!"
Well the hotel management was very nice however the facilities had issues: when I arrived there wasn't any running water due to a major water pipe break and it was being fixed. This happened twice that I had no running water within the 8 days of my stay. I was asked to move out of my original room and had to move into another down the hall, due to some […] room maintenance of certain rooms in the building mine being one of them. Not once was I offered any compensation for the inconvenience of the problems or move, I just dealt with it accordingly. Also as I washed my laundry using the machines available; washing mixed colors I needed to use cold water and only hot water was available on the cold water selection. Brand new red shirt bled into other clothes and there wasn't anything they could do. So some of my clothes were slightly ruined. the accommidations where indeed clean and the staff were informative & eager to please. the location was convenient to many local attractions. the bedding was what one might expect at a nice hotel . we felt the drawbacks were #1 the room (107) was next to the utility room , very noisy but instant hot water. #2 the pool was next to the main thoroughfare […] . if you just want a dip in the pool it's okay .if you want some quiet time in the evening one might concider it less than what your looking for. #3 we could see that on a busy week the parking could be limited, however we spent memorial day weekend there and were never without a place to park. #4 the airconditioner under the window caught the air under the curtains and blew thecurtains into the room. not a major problem but one that could be resolved. all in all the stay was very good , especially at the rate per night . "Für einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht empfehlenswert"
Als wir unser Zimmer beziehen wollten, bellten zur selben Zeit vier Hunde auf unserer Etage, da es ein "Tierfreundliches Hotel" war. Wir haben um ein neues Zimmer gebeten, da aber alles ausgebucht war, haben wir keins bekommen. Nachts war es aber ruhig. Zudem wurde das Zimmer mit Zitronenduft überschüttet, wir empfanden es sehr unangenehm. Für eine […] Nacht OK.
