Hotell Klaus K Hotel - Helsingfors

Bra hotell mitt i trevliga centrala kvarter. God service och jättefin frukost med närproducerade och ekologiska produkter. Bra italiensk restaurant i gatuplan med god service och fantastisk glass! Tredje vistelsen på hotellet och vi kommer tillbaka.

Trevlig personal, perfekt läge och en toppklass frukost!

Hotellet får en 4 av 5 varför?... av den enkla anledning att jag knappt hann vara där annars skulle det nog fått en 5:a. Trevligt rum, rent & fräscht. Jag kommer definitivt bo där vi nästa jobbtripp eller semester tripp till Helsingfors.

Rummet var ej klart vid ankomst, därefter fel rum Hotellet fullbokat fick byta rum dagen efter. Ung personal i receptionen med dålig erfarenhet, inget proffsigt intryck.

Servicen och frukostbuffén är utmärkt. Rummen är dåligt designade. Lite utrymme att sätta exempelvis kläder på - endast 1 stol, endast 1 pyttesmått nattduksbord. Inte heller något förvaringsskåp. Bra dock att det finns riktiga galgar att hänga kläder på. Det hade varit bra om man kunnat stänga helt till duschutrymmet. Personalen inte så bra på svenska, […] bättre innan ombyggnaden. Roligt med konst vid receptionen. Häftigt med de snurrande plastgrejerna i taket i matsalen. Läs mer

Bra service, härlig frukost och bra läge men pyttesmå rum knepiga att ställa in värmen i. Ingenstans att ställa smutsiga ytterskor och dålig garderob. Fin design är inte allt!

Design hotel especially for romantic couples. Rooms are called "passion suite" and the like. My bed had a fuzzy sheepskin like thing above it, not kinky, but definately not strictly businesslike. Bottle of wine and two glasses waiting. Really nice rooms, the design adds to the stay. Gym not so big but totally ok with everything you need, treadmill, […] crosstrainer, free weights etc. Nice italian resturant and a trendy cafe-disco next door. Some music audible in the room on Saturday night. Right in the middle of the center if you are interested in shopping or nightlife. I would definately bring my girlfriend there! Only negative is that the cameras + the fact that you need to use your keycard everywhere creates some big-brother-moments. As someone else remarked, the corridoors look nothing like a design hotel. Allt för trångt mellan säng o vägg i enkelrummet. Slog i tårna flera gånger. Kraftig doft av matos i foajé och restaurangdel. Dålig service i restaurangen. Fick dock reduktion efter påpekande om att de glömt mig. Vacker inredning

Comfy, good looks, tremendously fresh and domestic breakfast, great big beds with a neverending blanket so big you could fit your whole family under one. Great location in the middle of the city, close to the peaceful parts of town and also to the bars and clubs. Jag hade höga förväntningar på hotellet i och med att Klaus K är ett sk Design Hotel. Kändes dock inte som ambitionen att vara ett designhotell nådde ända fram. Hissarna (som var extremt långsamma) och hotellkorridorerna hade platsat i vilket tråkigt 3-stjärnigt hotell som helst. Är det ett designhotell ska hela hotellet inneslutas i ambitionen att […] vara en estetisk upplevelse utöver det vanliga – så var inte fallet på Klaus K. Jag bodde i ett enkelrum som var rent och fräscht. Hade turen att få ett relativt stort rum med fönster mot gatan på andra våningen. Jag fick även se ett alternativ till detta rum i samma priskategori: ett pyttelitet rum på femte våningen med fönster mot gården. Klart klaustrofobiskt och absolut ingen utsikt. Slutsats är att det är stora skillnader på rummen i samma priskategori. Vidare saknade jag ett skrivbord på rummet. Eftersom jag reste i jobbet hade jag behövt sitta och arbeta någonstans. Personalen var dock hjälpsam vilket de ska ha all credit för. Slutligen får läget på hotellet högsta betyg. Läs mer

Hotellet gav en intim känsla. Plus också för gymmet som inte bara hade löpband med mera, utan också skivstång, squat rack och så. Frukosten, som vi hade läst om i förväg, var också mysig och intim. Relativt få rätter, men desto mer omsorg om dem.

I would recommend Klaus K Hotel to everyone. Superior service, nice rooms and very good restaurant.

Hotel is in a great central location. Modern design - particularly in the lobby area. Our room was quite small, but had nice design and everything we needed. Great breakfast was included, and this is served until 11am - great if you don't want too early a start. Klaus K. - a true designer hotel smack downtown close to all the City sights and attractions. Excellent service and quality. A must use for anyone hooking up a reasonable price. The rooms are not big, but very elegantly decorated and functionally extremely practical and witty. A great hotel.

Cool hotel in a perfect spot in the centre of Helsinki. Rooms are nice and very clean, especially the bathrooms. Breakfast buffet was included in the price and was of excellent quality (organic products throughout). We had an excellent stay.

You couldnt wish for a better location, responsive staff, well appointed. But not great value for money. It's themed nature takes itself a bit too seriously. If money isn't an object, stay here.

Klaus K was very close to all the landmarks, transportation, shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff was very helpful and the breakfast offered great nutritional choices. Rooms were efficient, well lit, and comfortable. The size of the bathroom was average, but they supplied fantastic shampoo and body wash. Would definitely stay there again.

There is an awful lot to like about this hotel - great location, very cool interior design, great breakfast buffet, etc. etc. HOWEVER. The rooms are very small - 'queen' = conventional 'double' bed (it is very comfortable though), and there is really nowhere to put your cases/clothes which makes it difficult if you are there for anytime longer than […] overnight (we were there for 4 days). AND. There is an extremely noisy nightclub that rocks hard and loud until 3.30 or 4.00 am on Friday and Saturday nights making it impossible to sleep. We stayed 4 nights and our experience was extremely pleasant. We managed to use the Sauna and it was such a lovely experience. The gym is nice too and the Hotel has 2 restaurants and a nice bar which are also convenient if you need to for example have dinner late. Stayed by myself - single female - at the Klaus K Hotel whilst attending a conference in Finland. The Hotel is wonderful, clean, modern, wonderful staff. gr8 location, very safe to walk around at night. Couldn't fault it, a wonderful place to stay.

Very cool hotel, walking distance from train station. Great breakfast buffet, good night club right in lobby and there are about 10 night clubs within a 10 block radius, including a decent tex mex place. Decent gym, compact but nicely designed room and bath. Great bath products. Would definitely stay there again.

Firstly I would say I now always stay int he Klaus K. Its a great location (as central as you get) and very contemporary. Clean cut design, great people and very fresh/clean. My only criticism is some of the rooms are very small. They are very well designed however. My last stay was a bit cramped so I will check into a larger room next time. Great place […] though!! Brilliant blend of Finnish tradition with cool contemporary. And such clever use of limited space in my room. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend it.

Very good hotel with modern and classic designs. Breakfast was relly good with organic food and a lot of variety. We used the Sauna and was awsome.

Nice hotel, great location....however, the ventilation system rattles and cannot be turned off. Solution: use earplugs. Also, the tile around the fancy inset tub--which looks lovely--produces a small waterfall when one showers. Solution: ask for extra towels. Great breakfast, interesting decor although a bit dark.

We enjoyed a brief weekend in the city and the location, the very Finnish and excellent decor and the delicious breakfast made this just right.

We stayed at Klaus K in August 2009, and absolutely loved the hotel. The rooms are on the smaller side, but you'd never dwell on it since they're stylishly and cleverly decorated. The room is clean and feels new. The only thing we didn't find was closet space, and the breakfast isn't your typical American eggs & bacon kind. Good location for central Helsinki. Buffet breakfast was lavish and superb. Decor is funky. Tram stop just outside goes to train station (numbers 3, 6 and 9, I think). Highly recommended.

The hotel is a smart, boutique hotel right at the centre of Helsinki. Perfect for busines and leisure. The room was small but beautifully appointed. The internet link was fast and easy to set up. I got a deal significantly below the standard rate at the Klaus K, and it was a fantastic bargain. My room was quite small, but a beautiful example of Finnish design, everything worked so well, the room seemed much larger. The breadfast was outstanding, and the location is quite convenient. I think this hotel is a real find.

This was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at and I feel I got a great price. I would stay again anytime (and I hope I do get to stay again one day!) The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to the esplanade park, tourist info, shopping, restaurants and the boat dock. The staff is particularly helpful, and made every effort to help us on a weekend that the entire City shuts down.
