Although weather was really wet,we had a very good stay at hotel i would highly recomend thiis hotel good food friendly staff.

Room was nice, loved the sea view. Shame the receptionist didn't check me in properly, meaning someone else subsequently received a key to my room and entered whilst I was in a state of undress.

Loacation was good but hotel decor was old and shabby. Room was near the lifts and these were noisy, so disturbed sleep. Cleanliness of the rooms was quite poor. Food was average quality and overpriced.

We were visiting friends in the area and had a lovely relaxing day and comfortable overnighter in this hotel. Will certainly use it again. In fact thinking of treating my daughter for her birthday as it is so central for the shops and nightlife.

The hotel is average+. Clean, nice big king bed, staff polite, good heating system. Wasn't too keen on the lifts, corridor decor, room entry doors. Overall good for the amount of time I spent in the room. Hairdryer was nice and strong which was a nice surprise!

Noisey late at night the Ayr youth seem to want to wander the streets singing to themselfs? Also a bit of road noise depending on room allocation. Leisure facilities not the best but does the job on an overnighter.

Comfortable room and good location. Only slight downside was no wifi in rooms - in this day and age it is not difficult or expensive to provide free wifi. Good selection of films to watch on the tv.

when i returned to the hotel after my night out the lifts were not working walked up the stairs to the fourth floor and my key would not open the door walked back down the stairs and found the key blank re,programed the key and walked back up the stairs again as the lift still not working ,then in morning lifts still not working had to walk down ag […] ain, Läs mer

first the 'bad' hotel is tired and plain shabby in some areas. we were on the 6th floor and for most of our stay only the service lift was operating, with little apology to customers. the service lift was revolting. however the bar and restaurant staff were super and the food good, bar food a bit pricey, but nice enough. set brasserie meal was very […] good. reception staff were ok, kept waiting to check in for no apperent reason, 2 receptionists there, not much bothered. the hotel is in a really good position and it's a shame that it's so run down in the accomodation areas. Good hotel with excellent staff. Location was very convenient for us and within easy walking distance of restaurants and pubs in Ayr. The staff were helpful and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable.

The hotel was very convenient for the shops and the beach. The hotel facilities were excellent. Leisure facilities were lovely and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would certainly return there.

The only thing that I could fault was that the bacon and black pudding were far too salty and I could not eat them. at breakfast. Everything else was great.

Recently changed owners from Ramada to Mecure. I'm guessing Mecure haven't instilled there standards yet as this was the worst hotel in their group I've stayed at so far. Hôtel près de l'aéroport de Prestwick (10 livres en taxi) bon accueil prestations conformes à ce type d’hôtel. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Wir hatten 2 Zimmer mit jeweils 2 Einzelbetten. Die Matratzen waren schon sehr durchgelegen, was uns allen etwas Rueckenschmerzen beschert hat. Insegesamt ist die Einrichtung schon aelter, was man teilweise erst auf den 2.Blick bemerkt. Was ein absolutes Minus ist, es ist kein Schrank vorhanden, nur eine Mini-Garderobe. Immerhin ist ein Zimmersafe vorhanden. […] Die Zimmer sind etwas eng, deshalb ist es schwierig, mit 2 Koffern zu hantieren, denn: man hat ja keinen Schrank, in den man etwas einraeumen koennte. Das Personal ist freundlich. Das Fruehstuecksbuffet ist Schottischer Standard, koennte noch wesentlich besser sein, was die Auswahl ,z.B. an Cornflakes, betrifft. Ein absolutes Minus hierbei ist der Toastofen. Wenn viel los ist, steht man ewig an, bis man seinen Toast ueberhaupt toasten kann. Dies hab ich schon anders erlebt: z.B. dass jeder Tisch fertigen Toast serviert bekommt. Dies wuerde fuer ein entspanntes Fruehstueck sorgen. Läs mer
