Hotell Platinum Hotel - Las Vegas

Ett bra hotell med utmärkt service. Nära till The Strip men ändå en bit ifrån, tar ca 10min att gå men är klart värt det. I princess-sviten finns fullutrustat kök + tvättmaskin och torktumlare.

Jättefina rum - Princess svit. Tvättmaskin toppen efter två veckors rundresa med bil. Tråkig omgivning - parkeringsplats, bensinmack och el-station. Man blev lite besviken av omgivningarna när vi kom till hotellet men den känslan försvann ganska snabbt. Det gick lika fort att gå fram till strippen från hotellet som det tog att gå inne i de stora hotellen […] innan man kom ut på gatan. När vi gått förbi det tråkiga kvarteret - som för övrigt inte var så "otäckt" som vi tyckte när vi först såg det - var vi precis mitt i smeten (mitt för Cesars palace och dom andra stora jättarna) på strippen. Lugnt och skönt på hotellet. Poolområdet var inte så stort men rent och fungerade bra. Personalen trevlig och hjälpsam. Gratis parkering - jättebra! Läs mer

Very Very nice, but black dirt in the jacuzzi.

Vi bodde på Platinum Hotell under en kortare vistelse i Las Vegas och jag måste säga att jag är imponerad! Hotellet är väldigt fräscht och känns nytt. När vi kom dit mottogs vi av en parkeringsvakt som tog hand om vår bil. Valetparkeringen visade sig vara gratis- kanon! Vi hade bokat en prinsess-svit och det visade sig vara en utmärkt tvårumslägenhet! […] Här fanns allt som du kan tänkas behöva! Ett fullt utrustat kök, tvättmaskin och torktumlare, stor säng, eldstad och egen jacuzzi på rummet! Hotellets poolområde var även det mycket fint, med både en stor pool och en jacuzzi och utsikt över Vegas-stripen. Även gymdelen var helt okej, massor av konditionsmaskiner och även styrkemaskiner för hela kroppen. Hotellet ligger hyfsat när stripen, tog cirka fem minuter att gå. Fantastic room. Clean, spacious and the service was exceptional. Had a separate kitchen area with a full fridge, microwave and oven. Restaurant and bar on site.

Just a brilliant place to stay!! We walked every day to the strip it is that close. Clean, bright, huge rooms, excellent staff, valet parking etc etc etc. Just stay its a no brainer!!

The Staff at the Platinum Hotel is awsome!! Rooms are large and well maintained. Short walk to, what I consider the herat of the strip. Next time I am in Vegas I will stay at the Platinum. Also DOG FREINDLY!!!!!

The Platinum is an all around great hotel. Giant rooms, giant bathrooms, easy walking distance to the strip. The pool is a great space. The kitchens are great, but there are no pots/pans for cooking, and we did have to ask for a wine opener. All the staff are very nice, and very welcoming to dogs! I will stay again!

Really amateur service! They started by putting us in a room with less beds than requested - had to walk back down to complain since front desk didn't answer the phone. Second attempt - they put us in a room with a view of a solid wall - when we had reserved and paid extra for a view of the Strip. They refunded us $ for the view - but no additional […] comp for the inconvenience or the fact that we were stuck with a wall view. Next morning, we tried to make coffee - found two moldy coffee bags in the coffee maker - looked and smelled like they had been there for weeks - disgusting! We ordered room service, and asked that they bring up fresh made coffee while they bring us a new coffee maker. It took them 20 additional minutes to bring the coffee after room service arrived - the coffee maker and coffee each arrived separately over the next 1 1/2 hours. Not enough towels provided for the # of people, no room service menu (and when requested, not delivered - had to write out the breakfast order for the next morning), next morning breakfast arrived with missing items. In fact, each time we requested anything, they ended up messing up the request in some way. The only saving grace was that the pool was indoors and we were able to swim on a cold day. The hotel is off the strip and it is a long walk if you have kids in tow - also homeless people on the street. I think this could have been a nicer stay if the staff had been more attentive and used more common sense. Excellent Amenities, e.g., Spa, Indoor/Outdoor Pool, Restaurant, and Lounge. Completely Non-Smoking and No Casino, but well within walking distance of Strip and only a block away from The Flamingo, Bally's, and a couple of blocks to The Paris. Very reasonably-priced, well-appointed, huge Room Suites with extremely courteous, friendly, and professional […] staff. Quick valet drop-off and retrieval, and a very accommodating, helpful concierge. I'm not sure I should write this glowing review, because then The Platinum will probably no longer be one of the best-kept secrets in Vegas. A non-gambling, non-smoking hotel located one block away from the centre of The Strip. 10 minutes walk to the Belaggio/Flamingo, half of which can be done inside Bally's if it is hot. Good size room with full kitchen, including dishwasher. Valet parking is a bit of a pain, but service was excellent. The only negative was that it is seemingly on the […] main route for paramedics going to and from the Strip, so quite a bit of siren noise. Läs mer

Most of the staff was great but we didn't get housekeeping for 2 days and when we asked for it and were assured it would be done, it was once again not done. When it finally was done, it was a very half hearted effort. The same crumbs on the carpet that were there when we checked in were still there when we checked out. Everything else was fine. Large rooms and close to the strip.

Everything was excellent except that the hotel is trying to do a "good for the environment" thing so our heating, a/c, and lights didn't work properly, We had the maintenance man fix things twice but our heating never did work. Bar service was poor so we only stopped in there once.

Excellent place to stay if you don't mind being off the strip (it's pretty close and easily walkable) and without a casino. Restaurant isn't very good and getting cabs is difficult - most of the doormen weren't very good (although one or two were great). I stayed here while attending a conference for business. The Princess Suite was spacious and had lots of great amenities. I loved having a full kitchen, but unfortunately, there were no coffee mugs or pots/pans. I suppose I could have called the front desk to get those, but I thought these should be readily available. I ordered room service 3 times […] while I was there and each time I was very pleased. I was there for 5 nights, so having the space to move around in my "condo", no smoke, peace/quiet and a washer/dryer were a bargain. It's a 2-3 block walk to get to the strip and during the day it was fine. There are some large, empty lots nearby, construction going on, and some "iffy" looking surroundings, so I felt a little concerned at night since I was a lone female. This could be alleviated if the hotel offered a "shuttle service" to the strip after dark. The hotel service was outstanding! When I come back to Vegas, I will definitely stay here again. The price is highly competitive and the being 2-3 blocks off the strip does have its advantages. Läs mer

Platinum Hotel is a very nice hotel with excellent amenities and large rooms. The only bad points are its surroundings and it is just a little too far off the Strip, although it is only really a 10 minute walk. Would highly recommend if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the main Strip.

We stayed here for 6 nights in February. It is c 5-7 mins walk from strip (coming out at Bellagio/Caeser's Palace) but don't let that put you off. The service is excellent (the very friendly and helpful staff recognise you - not likely to happen in the mega 2000+ room hotels). As it's back from the strip if you get a room with a view of it you'll have […] a panorama of the entire strip - fabulous. Food is also excellent - and very reasonable. Room was more spacious than some apartments I've been in - and a double bath was a lovely bonus. It is a non-smoking non-casino hotel - both major advantages in my book - it's nice to escape the Vegas madness. If I ever go back to Vegas - I would definitely stay here again - and have no hesitation in strongly recommending it. Läs mer

This hotel was a welcome reprive from the bustle of the strip. The indoor/outdoor pool was great, the hot tub was a blessing. Bruno's poolside dining service was superb. I'm not rushing back to Vegas, but if I had to come back, this is where I would stay. Great place!

I was a little reserved when I drove up to this hotel, however, once I stepped in, I was transformed to a very pleasant place. Check-in was a breeze and the free valet service was very accomodating. I am making my plans to stay again in March & May 2012 even though these will be for business. I'd recommend this hotel to everyone and even though it doesn't […] have a casino, I didn't miss it. I luv this hotel!! I took my 2 children for a tournament an was very worried about where to stay an being it is a non gambling non smoking place took a chance an boy did we hit the jackpot!!! My kids loved the hotel its their favorite now (an that means a lot we have stayed at a lot of nice hotels for tournaments) not to crowded the pool was wonderful […] the service was AMAZING!!! Close enough to walk 15 minutes to the strip but far enough you don't hear the strip. Very very relaxing even with our busy schedule! We will definitely be back!! Läs mer

Even though the hotel is not on the strip, it's location is very convenient, only a 5 minute walk from the strip. The hotel was very nice and having an indoor pool made it even better. We had the 950 sq ft strip view suite and it was very spacious for all 4 of us. Would stay there again!

Went to Vegas with a friend for a convention. We stayed at the Platinum for 3 nights. It was wonderful. The hotel was extremely quiet, the bathrooms, were HUGE, the kitchen was great and convenient, nice to have a balcony. The location is excellent. 3 miles from the airport and 2 blocks from the strip. The fitness center was great and the pool was gorgeous. […] We enjoyed the hot tob and the fire pit once it got cool. We did not try any of the food at the hotel so I cannot comment on it. The ONLY negatives about the hotel (and I am really searching) is the location of the elevator is strange and the fact that you have to valet your car. I would prefer to park my own and not tip constantly coming in and out, but it was worth it to stay at this great hotel. Will DEFINITELY stay here again. Läs mer

This hotel was fabulous . We had a greatr time . Employees and management was very helpfull in all aspects of our stay . The room was excellent . Will recomend this hotel to any one including families .

The platinum is a nice hotel with indoor/outdoor pool. The hotel is located about 3 blocks from the strip which is not that bad. The hotel is pet friendly and we found some dog hairs on the sofa, that was a little disconcerting. The staff was very friendly and attentive high marks for them. There were a couple of problems with our room (ice maker wasn't working) but the hotel staff always bent over backwards to fix them. Truly, one of the best Hotels I've ever stayed at. And a GREAT deal as well.

We love this place. My only hesitation in giving it a good rating is giving away the secret! We love that it's so close to the action, but you never wait for a chaise at the pool or stand in line at the restaurant, or are made to wait at check-in behind a bunch of drunk college boys attending the World Series of Beer Pong (this happened to friends at […] a nearby casino hotel). Pro: Got a full kitchen, a little bit walk to the center of strip but feel safe while walking, a inside pool for kids to burn some energy, a quite/clean/relative small hotel,non smoking, no casino, big room, big bathroom, after close the door to the bedroom, it is just like two rooms. Enough seats/sofa for the whole family to hang around in the day […] time. Con: No pots, funny, they got a full kitchen but no pot. Pillow is so hard to sleep on, bedding is old. Carpet is dirty. Overall is happy experience, we may still stay there. I just did light cooking, but good enough for the family, we don't enjoy stay in line for the bad food in buffets. Other than the child in the next room getting a little loud from time to time, the place was nice and quiet, particularly by Vegas standards. Front desk and restaurant staff were great. Didn't use housekeeping the three nights we stayed there. Restaurant food good at reasonable price. Fitness center met all our needs and was clean. Room seemed like […] it had seen better days. This being a condo hotel, wondered if current owner wasn't into spending money to make repairs and replaced worn out furnishings. We usually stay at The Signature condo hotel and that remains our preference. However, the Platinum is a nice alternative we will consider again if the other is booked. Läs mer

I was really pleased with The Platinum Hotel! The rooms/suites were as big as an apartment. The kitchen with a full-size refrigerator was amazing.The decor was classy. The enormous bathroom with a jacuzzi was terrific. The staff was friendly and professional. The restaurant was superb, and definitely the gem of the Platinum. My husband and I are chefs […] and we were really impressed with the quality and preparation of the food, along with the super reasonable menu prices. We would have eaten ALL of our meals at the restaurant, and know that we would have excellent meals, but we were taking our grown up sons to Las Vegas, so we had to eat at other inferior restaurants on the strip. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and we had it all to ourselves. I cannot say enough good things about The Platinum. I ALWAYS stay in hotels right on the strip, but now I have a better option. I stayed with my kids & wife at this hotel over ThanksGiving weekend.We arrived & they let us check in earlier than the regular time;which was a big plus. They then upgraded us to the princess suite,and put us on a higher floor over looking the mountains. The suite was simply beautiful & for the price was a really good deal.I would recommend this hotel […] to families & people who just want to be away from the noisy strip :) Läs mer

This hotel is a couple of long blocks off The Strip, and has NO gambling on the premises, so it's quiet and has no glitzy facilities. Rooms are actually suites with full kitchens and large bathrooms (glass-door shower and large whirlpool tub). Excellent place to stay if you want to be away from Vegas razzmatazz.

Great and quiet hotel great massage at spa fantastic jacuzzi tub for two. Would stay here again anytime.

The hotel is good, clean..the only thing is the kitchen didn't have pots n pans to cook for a quick meal
