Ett enkelt hotell nära tunnelbanestationen pigalle. Gångavstånd till sacre cur. Hotellet är mitt i sexdistrikten men ingen var ofredande på något sätt. Vi hade med oss en 10 årig pojke så lite förklaringar var vi tvungna att ge. Frukost bestod av croissonger samt andra brödsorter. Väldigt enkelt pålägg samt juice och kaffe/te. Helt ok. Vi tyckte hotellet var över våra förväntningar. Hyffsat rent och städning varje dag med nya handdukar. Nackdelen var att det var äldigt lyhört, så öronproppar är ett måste om man vill sova gott. Nära till tunnelbana och bra restauranger. Kan helt klart rekommmendera detta om man är ute efter ett ok billigare alternativ!

Hotellet ligger på en bakgata nära t-bana och Montmarte, rum med fransk balkong, typiskt eoropeiskt anspråkslöst hotell, fräscht och duktig personal. Bra standard för priset, städning bra. Lite ljud från trafik och människor från gatan, men inte störande. På sommaren blir det nog fruktansvärt varmt på rummet, då vi sov med fönstret öppet mitt i oktober, […] trots kyligt ute. Området är delvis ett slags red light district, men väldigt säkert, promenerade runt på natten och det kändes väldigt tryggt. Området fint och känns genuint utan mycket turister. Läs mer

Med tanke på pris, väldigt bra, trevlig servicevänlig personal, rent snyggt, lugnt läge, trots "kvarteret" i glädjens tecken!! Helt enkelt mycket bra..

Not so good as in pictures And neighboring is very noisy.

Very well located for excursions in the city, but really noisy at night, with people in the busy Montmartre streets screaming and generally creating a nuisance. Bathrooms have been renovated and are really nice now. Good value breakfast for only € 4.50. Nice and friendly staff, English-speaking, but try to learn some French and they will really light […] up! This was a cosy hotel in the nice artistic area of Montmartre (L'opera). The staff were all english speaking and very service minded and nice! The hotel is located in the "sexdistrict" but that didn't bother us at all. It wasn't even visable until night time and not selling services in the streets. A very nice and cosy area with amazing Brasseries! A […] 5 minute walk to Mouldin Rouge and a 10 minute walk to Sacre Coer. 20 minute walk to great shopping areas! I can really recomend it to anyone. med tanke på priset vi betalade för vårat rum så var det super bra. Vi hade bokat ett rum med tre sängar, och vi fick tre enkelsängar, i ett ganska stort rum, med rymligt badrum med badkar till och med. på rummet fanns en tv, dock endast tre kanaler. men i paris hinner man iaf inte titta på teve. rummet var jätte fräscht, och dom städade det varje dag, […] och då fick vi nya sängkläder och handdukar varje gång. personalen var jätte trevlig. området var lite otäckt på kvällarna, eftersom hotellet ligger vid moulin rouge, där det finns en uppsjö av vuxenbutiker, och även "vuxenbarer" om man säger så. men å andra sidan var det väldigt nära till allting, så vi gick till både louvren, eiffeltornet, notre dame och triumfbågen. sacré coeur ligger bara några 100 meter ifrån hotellet. så för att sammanfatta: jätte bra hotell, med bra standard (iaf 3 bäddsrummen) och väldigt trevlig personal. Hotell m bra service o fräscha badrum, minus dock på lite dåliga sängar. Bra städning varje dag m rena handukar o lakarn. Har man rum mot gatan så är det ganska livligt. Pigallkvarteret har ju många "vuxenklubbar" så är nog inte barnvänligt nattetid. Men annars så är läget bra m nära till centrum o montmartre o nära tunnelbanan.

There's a reason for the 2-star rating... If a sleek lobby is the only thing important to you, then you'll be happy with this place. Once you leave the lobby, things take a totally different turn. The room itself is in serious need of updating and new bedding. Mattress was very old and uncomfortable, the carpet was cheap with no padding and not so clean... […] Though the bathroom was large, clean and appeared updated, the mold on the window in the shower was a little unnerving. Since I was visiting my daughter who is studying abroad and this hotel was close to where she lived, I rated the convenience factor a 4. This hotel was in a great location in Paris, close to what is to me the most interesting part of Paris, Montmarte. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly and the room had what we needed after a day of sightseeing, a comfy bed. We also found great restaurants both on foot, and a short Metro ride away in Place de la Madelaine. Would definitely […] come back. The best 2 star hotel I have stayed at. Fairly newly refurbished, soap and shower gel provided, clean condition and friendly staff. Great location in exciting area, close to Montmartre (great shopping and restaurants). Go two blocks east from the hotel and there is a great coffee shop at Place Lino Ventura and traditional epiceries and patisseries further […] down Rue de Martyrs. Läs mer

a good hotel, not expensive at all and close to the metro stop. The room was nice, pretty big and the hotel was nice. We left Paris late in the afternoon and it was nog problem to sit in the lobby, use the bathroom and the computers.

Overall it's great! I mean what would you expect when it's a 2-star hotel? Yet it's totally beyond my expectation as the room is cleaned everyday, and the room is unexpectedly large(to me) and with a big bathroom. With very nice staff in the front desk who can speak ENGLISH.

This is a great hotel. The staff are very helpful and nice. They speak English which is a big help. The hotel is a short three or four block walk to the Pigalle Subway station. The price is a great one for the features of the hotel. The tub was a little slippery and the carpet was a little stained. There is a great cafe/restaurant a few doors down the […] street on the corner and they serve good food for average prices for Paris. Not much to complain about. The continental breakfast is limited with no hot food and was a priced a little too much for what you get but all in all a very good place to stay. Some people report the neighborhood as seedy. Just about what we expected for a cheap hotel. Noisy, but reasonably comfortable. A fair bargain for the money and suited our needs for the trip we had in mind. Fine if you have a busy itinery and your nopt expecting to spend your honeymoon there! Forget the breakfast, there are much better places nearby.

For an older, Parisian hotel, we were quite pleased with the hotel. The room was smallish but we did have a room with 3 single beds and had room for our suitcases and to move around. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was very modern but the only mirror was in the bathroom which made it difficult for 3 sisters to get ready […] in the morning. The elevator was small so we almost always used it going up but seldom when we were going down. The desk staff was very helpful and even called a cab for us. They also gave us very clear directions. There was a coffee machine in the lobby. We did turn our key in everytime we left, but we felt very safe. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a clean, comfortable place to stay in Paris. We found the staff at the hotel to be very friendly. They spoke English and gave us hints about the area. It is in the red light district but we never found anyone to be threatening. It's an OK hotel for 2-stars. We only needed a place to sleep. Don't expect too much. It's in good reach to Metro.

The hotel stay was comfortable and everything advertised to be. Room was clean and typical French. The room faced the street and was noisy at night and I don't suggest going out after 10 pm as it is located in the Pigalle section. There is a sex shop next door but we did not see any activity and it did not bother us. At the end of our stay we realized […] that most of the noise came from a bar at the end of the street and that some of the noise was from partiers walking the street. There were no bars across the street and had it not been for the echo of those at the end of the street it would have been much quieter. The location of this hotel may not be for everyone - it's smack in the middle of the red light district - but it's just around the corner from the famous Moulin Rouge and a convenient metro station. We researched hotels pretty well but we made a big mistake with this hotel. Nothing like the photos. We booked two rooms thus the two reviews. The other room we booked was also depressing and weird. We walked in and thought we had the wrong hotel. We looked at the photos of the hotel that we had printed out and walked around the lobby and then asked the really friendly night clerk about the photos. He said that the hotel had been remodeled. Really? Who remodels a nice hotel (like in the photos) to make it terrible? Each day when we returned we […] felt like we were checking back into our prison room. HORRIBLE neighborhood. I've stayed in all kinds of neighborhoods all over the world, but the loud fights between half a dozen people, several times each night, walking over vomit the next morning EVERY morning was too much. Weird room too. The gables cut into the room so you had to do this weird side bend just to walk around the bed while the bathroom with NO bath was huge! You could put the bed in the bathroom and have a large bedroom. The hotel was clean but very depressing and dark and weird. We were very, very disappointed with this hotel and we won't be back! Hotel was very nice and very friendly but the neighborhood was scary and we had our wallet stole near the hotel. It's a great hotel as long as you aren't out at night.

I stayed their with 2 family members in a triple room for 3 nights. All the staff we spoke to were very pleasant and helpful. Its near Pigalle Metro so you can be in the centre of Paris in no time. The hotel is clean, and our room was clean on arrival and kept that way through out our stay. The beds were comfy and the shower was good! Easy to find right near the metro station. For the price a good choice. The TV was new and the bed was comfy. There is a supermarket around the corner.

Two of our five nights here there were fights in the street outside the hotel. Lots of seedy clubs in the area and when they close, there can be trouble. The staff was nice, the breakfast good for the price, but the noise from the street makes this choice a bit risky.

After travelling around France I was concerned what standard of Hotel we would find in the centre of Paris. Well I have to say the Hotel Victor Masse was an excellent hotel. The staff couldnt do enough for us & the room was the biggest we had stayed in throughout our tour & everything was spotless, including the all in important bathroom. Booked this hotel due to it being budget and relatively central. It's in the red light district (fringes of) but we had no problems at all due to that - it didn't seem a really seedy red light district. The triple room we booked was excellent, 3 single beds and very spacious for a budget hotel. The room and everything else we saw in the hotel was […] clean. There's a lift but it's quite small. I selected the hotel because they advertised as"air conditioned" but it was only the common areas, not individual rooms. It is on the edge of the red light district but you can equally walk to St. George metro as to Pigalle at night. We had a lovely stay in Paris and The Hotel Victor Masse was a good base, though does need a little TLC. We chose Hotel Victor Masse for the good location and excellent reviews that we read. We felt the 10/10 reviews were a little misleading as the hotel was on quite a busy road (therefore noisy) and was a little tired/ run down. We would stay there […] again but rate the Hotel more accurately as 7/8! The rooms were a good size and clean-the maids came daily. The bathroom was newly fitted so was excellent. The rooms needed a lick of paint and a modernising, as did the staircase which was uneven. The staff were very friendly and helpful that is always good. I can't comment on the breakfast facilities in the Hotel as we found an excellent patisserie that was very good value for money just by Pigalle Metro. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from Pigalle Metro station and a couple of minutes walk away from the infamous Moulin Rouge. This is a bustling location and is fun for couples and groups but not families (unless you fancy explaining to the kids about the women stood in the door in very small PVC outfits!!) For us, this provided part of the atmosphere! The hotel is also a Metro stop or a ten minute walk from Monmarte and The Sacre Coeur which can be seen walking into Pigalle from the hotel. It is beautiful and a place that I will always remember. Overall the hotel is nice and well located, close to Metro stations providing excellent links to get to all of the tourist attractions. The service is good. The room is clean and the rate is reasonable. I was given a room at the top floor (6/F), but the lift reached only the 5th floor. I had to walk upstairs with heavy baggage. Apart from that, I find everything alright.

Svært nærme metro og daglivarebutikk, caféer, Starbucks. Rolige rom, svært store bad God betjening Minus: Romvask føltes obligatorisk, og vi ble plaget av banking på døren og mas om at de måtte vaske nå. Selv om klokken var mye, måtte 'siestaen' kanselleres eller avbrytes.

(SPANISH)Había hecho la reserva para 4 noches en este hotel y ha sido una gran equivocación. Vi la foto del hotel y me pareció bastante limpio por el precio ya que los otros hoteles en general eran demasiado caros en París. Pero en cuando llegamos recibí un choque grandísimo que la habitación no tenía nada pero NADA que ver con la foto en Internet. […] Mi madre aún me preguntó si estábamos en un otro hotel o no. Bajé para preguntar y el recepcionista me dijo que ya no quedaba habitaciones triples (que era MENTIRA al final). Fui a hablar con el dueño el día siguiente y él tampoco intentó ayudarme sino me dijo cosas absurdas como "es imposible poner fotos de cada habitación, en Internet no tenemos fotos de habitaciones triples". Bueno, es verdad pero tienen las de doble con muebles relativamente nuevos pero la habitación que recibimos el primer día parecía que había llevado ya 20 años, absolutadamente viejo con todas las puertas rotas! Al final hablé con el dueño del hotel y él nos cambió la habitación que parecía las fotos que vi en Internet así que me tranquilicé pero que no duerma aquí, Si tuviera otra oportunidad de ir a París jamás dormiría aquí, son muy antipáticos, no te ayudan y el almuerzo es igual que lo que nos dan en hostales de 20 euros. Plus, la última noche mi tía no pudo dormir por el ruido que venía desde el techo. Estábamos seguras que eran la gente arriba o ratones pero estábamos en la 5ª planta y el hotel no tenía más plantas quela nuestra, que quiere decir que probablemente eran los ratones......Que tengan todo esto en cuenta.
