Decent hotel but not a very convenient location. Some staff were very helpful & accommodating while others were less and had difficulty conversing in English.

i never recommend this hotel as 5 star hotel, poor breakfast old room and old furnished they have to renew it completely to it can be 3 star with the exist situation

The hotel staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel is located in the business/mall area of the city. There is public transportation (bus) to get to Old Town; however, it takes about an hour. Taxi are also available at a reasonable price (20 to 25 liras) As others have mentioned, the hotel needs to change the room carpets.

I booked a business class room, it was lovely. the room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. When we arrived we were given complimentary room service of dried fruit and nuts. The staff were really helpful and friendly too. There is free wifi, free Turkish bath and a pool. Would recommend to a friend.

Nice hotel, great breakfast, good service. The only 'problem' - it is located 'off' most of the usual maps of Istanbul (including the one available at the hotel's desk) which makes it difficult if you want to use transportation other than taxis. The hotel is located in the Şişli district, about 10 km from the Istanbul Old Town. The hotel is on a side street, with resturants, banks and supermarkets (Migros and Carrefour Express) nearby. The metro station (Mecidiyeköy) is baout half a km away (20 minutes wlak) from the hotel. The Istanbul Cevahir, the largest shopping centre in Europe, is located […] right by the metro station. Perosnally I was not very impressed with the service of the hotel, especially at the front check in counter. The hotel is catered to many international travel groups, and the staff at the counter spoke very little English, and were not very helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. It also offered free WiFi internet service (However, the connection was not very reliable: each floor had its own router, and I found on some floors the router did not work). If you want to spend most of your time in the Old Town sightseeing, this hotel is not the right choice for you. You can take a taxi, or public transportation (involves 3 changes - metro, funicular and tram, and takes about 45 minutes) to get there). Läs mer

Overal pretty old and very simply outfitted. Random comments No AC in the room - thermostat was not working - switch was broken. Rooms are noisy (yet clean). 3 elevators are not enough for the size of the hotel. Expect to wait a looooong time at peak time. Is it a bad deal - no. This was all around a good hotel. The best part about it was the staff. I was worried being in a foreign country, but the staff really worked as a team & they provided me with helpful guidance about where to go in Istanbul.

Ikke en finger at sætte på personalet. Morgenmads buffeten var ringe på trods af det store udvalg. Ingen payperview, hård seng og ubrugelige hovedpuder. Dårlig beliggenhed i forhold til bl.a taksim pl. Bazaaren osv. Trafikken ødelage hele oplevelsen af Istanbul ! Kommer aldrig retur, beklager

Hotellet ligger et godt stykke utenfor sentrum, så hvis man vil gjøre "turist-ting" er det en snau time å reise inn til gamlebyen o.l. Ellers er hotellet ganske nedslitt og servicen absolutt elendig. Vi hadde bestilt ikke-røyk og frokost inkludert og fikk det motsatte. Bassenget er ganske digg og frokosten har godt utvalg (men er kjempedyr). Jeg synes slet ikke det er et 5 stjerne værdigt hotel. Små værelser..Men beliggenheden er rigtig godt og servicen på hotellet er også okay men jeg synes værelserne er alt for små..

Vorsicht beim Betellen von Getränken an der Hotelbar. Wir hatten in großer Runde für 18 Efes-Biere 0,5 ltr 100€ bezahlt, für örtliche Verhältnisse extrem teuer.

5 stars is too much for the hotel. you could hear all the sounds from the next room even when they went to the bathroom. much noise from corporate department in the hotel. dull breakfast and a little alternative. cleaning was good. old rooms. not recommended if you're looking for a real 5 stars hotel

hotêl convenable mais plus proche d'un quatre étoile que d'un cinq étoile en ce qui concerne la chambre. Il est situé à environ 10 miniute d'une station de metro. Le service est impeccable.
