Hotell Inglewood Manor - Ellesmere Port

The manor house is fantastic, really beautiful gardens and surroundings. It is basically in the middle of nowhere, but very close to Chester and to UK's largest outlet. It is a perfect retreat in the English countryside! The hotel restaurant is very priceworthy, good value and nice service. Breakfast was also really good!

I travel regularly and stay in various hotels in the UK and further afield, however, I thought that Inglewood Manor was head and shoulders above many of the hotels which claim luxury status. Beautiful hotel. Ideal if you want to get away from it all and do nothing but relax. Location-wise, it's about 10 minutes from Chester and 10 minutes from Cheshire Oaks. A quality hotel in perfect surrounding if you want a quiet stay. Only spoilt for me by lack of room service, such a shame when everything else was so good.

On arrival they offer complimentary Sherry and cake, which was very welcome after a long journey. The hotel is very pretty, set in beautiful gardens. We had a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant. 2nd time I have stayed here for work. Hotel lovely, welcoming, clean and food is v good. Only slight mention for 2nd visit was that room was v small. Next time I would be sure to book a double even though I travel alone.

Had a well earned 3 night break at the Inglewood and was very impressed. The staff are very attentive without being intrusive. The food is very good quality and not overly expensive. One point I would like to make is that room 20 is very noisy due to an extractor fan from the kitchen not far from the window, just putting a fan in the room would cure […] this. I stayed at this hotel while attending Chester races. I'd normally try and stay closer to Chester but a taxi was only £10/12 and I got a great rate on a great hotel. Staff were attentive and genuine. Hotel was very well appointed. Would certainly stay again

The hotel was great, the only down side was that the bedrooms could do with refurbishment. Duvets would be preferable to sheets and blankets. Otherwise the hotel was good, breakfast was ok, though more of a choice for a cold buffet would have helped. We ate in the hotel one evening and the meal was good.

The single room was very small, and the plumbing noisy. The location, grouds, and public areas were, however, excellent, as was breakfast. Just let down really by a sightly dingy room (but great view from the window did compensate).

Stayed at Inglewood Manor for 3 nights. it was a very pleasant experience. Very helpful, polite and friendly staff, clean rooms, beautiful buildings and gardens. very nice cold and hot (English) breakfast buffet. fantastic scenery. 5 miles outside Chester by car. 20 minutes away from Liverpool by train. 45 minutes from Trafford center, Manchester. Wonderful short break, 3 nights for the price of one. Beautiful grounds and a lovely hotel with plenty of character. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Full English breakfast with plenty of other food to chose from set us up for the day. Spent a day in Chester and 2 days in Liverpool. So much to see in this lovely area. This is a charming manor, decorated tastefully while maintaining its character. One of the nicest things is the beautiful grounds and a nice porch where you can sit on a nice day. There is no elevator but the staff was immediately available to help us get our bags upstairs. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the beds were totally separated twin […] beds, so if you prefer a double bed, don't assume you can move them together! It was the end of a holiday weekend and the evening we were there (after a big weekend for the hotel) there seemed to be one person doing all the jobs, but he did handle the task remarkably well! Fantastic Stately manor hotel situated in large grounds. Near to Chester and liverpool. Stayed the night prior to my daughters graduation. The perfect start. Breakfast very good also. Hidden gem. Staff very friendly.

Inglewood Manor is a lovely country house hotel set in beautiful parkland with a lake. Guests are free to enjoy it, and even do some fishing. Whilst being 'old-worldy' the hotel is extremely comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed on a weekend (Saturday) night and the only disappointment was that we were unable to use the […] hotel restaurant because they had a wedding reception that day. Unsurprisingly the hotel is very popular for weddings and so every weekend is affected in this way. However the hotel has produced a list of good restaurants in the area and will help guests book a table if necessary. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend Inglewood Manor. I was looking for a decent priced b&b to go to. My wife found Inglewood Manor on the internet and couldn't believe the price. When we arrived at Inglewood Manor it was just the quiet retreat that we had hoped for. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was amazing.
