We had a fine stay at Ibis. The two houses were really confusing when it came to checking in and parking but apart from that and a breakfast buffe without one single vegetable we had a very pleasant stay. Nice staff.

Helhetsintrycket av hotellet var bra, dock ligger det lite långt ifrån London (vilket man borde ha undersökt innan man bokade....). Frukosten var suverän - dock fanns ingen möjlighet till tidig frukost om man vill äta innan frukostdags!

Personalen var jättetrevlig och hjälpte alltid till om det var något. Hotellet i sig var ganska slitet men rent. Det ligger en bit utanför själva centrum, för att ta sig till tågstationen (walthamstow centre, slutstationen på victoria-line) kunde man antigen gå i ca 15min eller ta buss 48 som tog ca 5min. Sen väl på undergroundstationen tar kanske en […] 20-30min till centrala London. Rekomenderar att ni köper ett oystercard vilket gör resandet mycket smidigare och hotellet ligger i zon3. Frukosten var helt okej, kanske ingen grötfrukost som man själv är van med och står sig några timmar på men ljust bröd och marmelader fanns det gott om. Läs mer

Room looked well and clean, what I expected, but there was also some kind of smell, hard to explain, but an uncomfortable one! However, something what really bothered me was the WIFI, there was no WIFI access in my room at all, in spite of the fact thet there should had been that, they had a PC which anyone could use, but evan that one didnt work when […] I needed it most!!! Breakfast was good, and it was easy to get there with both busses and tupe! I'll recommend, if you have time, to take the buss to Central London/London Bridge Station at least once, it takes longer than taking the Vicotria Line but you'll see a lot more! Läs mer

Vi bodde i ett nyrenoverat rum precis intill receptionen. Rummet var väldigt fräscht och sängarna stora och bekväma. Aircondition, tv, te/kaffebryggare fanns även samt möjlighet att hänga upp jackor med galgar. Frukosten var enkel men mycket god, de hade en väldigt imponerande toastmaskin! Samt juice, ost och sylt samt två olika sorters flingor. Med […] tanke på vad frukosten kostar (eller om den nu ingår i priset) så är den absolut värd att ta del av. All personal på hotellet var otroligt trevliga och jag frågade flera gånger om bussturer och tider och även om toalettförnödenheter och de hjälpte mig med ett leende varje gång. Man får även tillgång till internet vilket var väldigt uppskattat. Bara några meter utanför hotellet så ligger busshållplatsen Shortlands Road där du kan ta buss 55 mot Oxford Circus. Den tar ungefär en timma vilket kan tyckas mycket, fast detta glöms fort av ifall du sätter dig på övervåningen av bussen och ser det som en sightseeing, vilket var väldigt roligt och gav en bra överblick av staden. 55'an åker även igenom Hackney/Shoreditch vilket är ett rätt coolt område med några bra pubar osv. Bussarna går även hela natten. Hotellets närmaste tunnelbanestation samt Overground Railstation ligger dock i zon 3 vilket ledde till lite bekymmer då våra Oystercards endast gällde i zon 1-2. Om du, som oss, inte vill lägga ännu mer pengar på det så löser du detta enkelt genom att ta bussen (som funkar med oystercardet) cirka en kvart och går av i Hackney Central där du sedan kan du Overground railen. Området kring hotellet är trevligt, det finns matställen, små shops och fruktstånd. Vi var ofta vakna på nätterna och gick ut och köpte saker och kände oss aldrig otrygga. Hotellet har även en 24h säkerhetsvakt som står i entrén. Mittemot hotellet ligger en Off licenceaffär som har låga priser och rätt stort utbud, den är även öppen dygnet runt. Billigt och bra hotell i lite "slitet" område. 50 meter till busshållplats som tar en direkt in till London. Ligger tyvärr lite för nära en kraftigt trafikerad gata och en järnväg, speciellt om man får ett rum ut mot vägen. Trevlig personal, rent och snyggt. Frukosten var inte mycket att ha.

Vi fick våran värsta upplevelse på hotellet. Då lyset i rummet först inte fungerade, sedan skulle de åtgärda problemet och stängde av strömmen i hela byggnaden. Efter ca 30min fick vi ett nytt rum där lampan var trasig i hallen vilket åtgärdades ganska snabbt. Samma natt som vi skulle åka hem gick dörren till toaletten i baklås. Tycker det var ett bra alternativ for oss som ar i 60-arsaldern.Skont att komma till en lugnare del efter en dag i London.Glom inte att kolla den lokala puben som var toppen (namnet ar borta men den lag pa samma sida som huvudbyggnaden av hotellet)

We'd payed for 2 single beds, but got 2 single + 1 double in what must have been the biggest room at the hotel. Comfty beds and clean room. Flat screen TV with a LOT of different channels. The only downside with the room was the toilet. It was unable to flush more than 1 time every hour or so. The reception room was cosy and welcoming. The breakfast […] wasn't more than toast, yoghurt and coffee/hot coco. There was suppost to be free Wi-Fi in the hotel, but this only worked in the reception/breakfast area, and poorly even here. The location of the hotel is a bit off, takes about 25 minutes to walk to the closest underground station. The neighborhood isn't the nicest either. I would not recommend for someone to walk alone in the dark here. But there is alot of cheap stores around. If you don't mind living 40 minutes from Oxford street, then this is a great palce to stay in a shorter period of time! Läs mer

Hotellrummet luktade lite konstigt och det var ganska varmt på natten så jag ville öppna fönstret för att få fräsch luft när jag skulle sova. Men hotellet ligger precis vid en stor väg så det var mycket bullrigt när jag öppnade fönstret. Polisbilar och ambulans lät dag och natt, hela tiden... Frukosten var okej men kan bli bättre. Det finns några kaféer […] nära hotellet så man kan äta frukost där också om man blir trött på hotellets frukost. Området var faktiskt intressant. Mångkulturerade område. Det finns en billig och god kinesisk restaurang. Jag åt kinesisk mat på en lyxigare restaurang på China town på mitt i staden också men det var typ samma smak. Det var inte jobbigt att åka till staden för att man kan ta buss från Hoe Street till Walthamstow Central station (Victoria line). Var i stort sett helt perfekt, något för hårda sängar tyckte vi, vi saknade vägglampor eller nått liknande så man kunde ha en liten lampa tänd, kanske för att läsa eller lösa korsord innan man somnade. Airkondition funkade tyvärr ej så lite varmt om nätterna. Kul med svensk film men med engelsk text. Personalen hjälpsam och trevlig.

Bra hotell i prisklassen, rent och fräscht. Ligger ca 25 min från Oxford Circus med the tube. Närmaste t-banestation Walthamstow ca 15 min gångväg. Område av låg standard där man inte vill vistas sena kvällar och nätter.

Ingen alkohol-servireng i baren på vardagar (!!!), hårda sängar, inga läslampor/mysbelysning och extremt varmt på rummen. Frukostbuffén kunde knappast kallas buffé, toast, flingor och mjölk och kaffe/te/juice ena dagen, nästa dag hade det även kommit fram yoghurt. Men, en massa bra TV-kanaler och endast 15 min promenad till tunnelbanan!

Ligger lite avsides, nästan 1 h resa till centrum men flera olika möjligheter till transport med buss och/eller tube. Fungerade bra. Helt ok för det priset. Vänlig personal, Intressant omgivning - det mångkulturella London.

Hotellet var super, låg nära allt då busstationen låg exakt utanför hotellet detsamma gjorde KFC perfekt tyckte vi. Själva hotellet var superbra, frukosten också. Personalen var trevliga och hjälptes åt. När vi sedan skulle hem så fanns det ett taxibolaget som samarbetar med hotellet så det vart jätte billigt att ta taxi till flyget.

Basic clean hotel room, helpful staff. Secure parking available for daily fee. Room poorly lit, and bathroom ventilation poor, otherwise comfortable. Emphasis on security, multi-cultural neighbourhood seemed friendly. Free wifi worked well with daily password. Good inclusive continental breakfast. 15 minute walk to tube station, or take #48 bus.

The hotel was well maintained, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was nice. Everything was good except for the location. This hotel is located in East London and the neighbourhood is a little rough. To be fair, I didn't feel unsafe walking to the hotel from the tube station at all and I'm a girl in my twenties who was travelling […] alone. It's probably not dangerous, however if you're looking to experience London this might not be the best location to stay. Great location for this hotel as our daughter lives nearby. First room we were given smelled of damp and had damp patches on the wall in the bathroom. Mentioned to reception and they changed it straight away with no problem. Breakfast in the morning fine, bit of a free for all as so busy and they took a long time to replace the mugs, having said that […] the staff were working very hard to copy with the numbers having breakfast. very clean rooms have stayed here a few times in different rooms all good. the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. the hotel has bus stops nearby to go all over london. the only downside is how the breakfast (which is good in itself) is cleared quickly and by half 9 there is not much left. but overall the best reasonable hotel around.

This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I am not a fussy person! The room which we stayed in was on the other side of the road and we had to transport our luggage there with no assistance. Once we got there the lift did not work and we had to climb 3 flights of stairs. The room was a good size however very dated. It reminded me of Uni […] accommodation but worst! The carpet had not been hoovered properly, the bed covers were really thin, the bath was extremely small with a leaking shower and a crack in the bath. All the corners of the floor had dirt in them I did not even want to shower but had no choice and worst of all, my partner lifted up the toilet seat to find blood there!!!! I was soooo angry I wanted to leave immediately. The towels were so small and looked like they were for the floor. We actually wanted to go home but as we had already paid we had no choice! The room was ice cold and when we called reception to find out how to operate the heater they said that we had to come to the reception and collect the remote and had to give a £10 deposit. The guy at reception should have told us that initially! We asked if they could drop it to us and said we had to collect it ourselves, so my partner had to go out in the cold again to pay for the remote he also had to carry the ironing board and iron as well as no one would bring it to us! This was by far the worst hotel ever and I suggest you stay elsewhere! I wouldn't stay here for free!!! Läs mer

The stay was nice and convenient. Breakfast was satisfactory and good for the price paid. First room given had slanted ceiling and we couldn't even stand up properly. After speaking to the hotel manager, he cahnged our room immediately and were given a nice spacious room. Hotel and room was clean however the heating in the room wasn't working very well. […] Overall satisfied with the service, hotel and location. Good basic hotel with the advantage of parking and a breakfast included in the very reasonable price. Clean and tidy, friendly staff. The hotel is split into two buildings on opposite sides of the road, breakfast and reception is in one of the buildings. Again, this was not a problem for us. After staying at the Ibis Southampton which was great I was very disappointed when told by the extremely miserable reception that my room was 'across the road'. walking across feeling very unsafe in the neighbourhood and then having to travel out to eat as no food available in the hotel.

Fine for the price paid, the hotel is on two sites at opposite sides of the road. Parking the first night was not too good, as I arrived in a van after 19:30. The staff are great, welcoming and efficient. Hotel is clean and functional. My room didn't have bedside lighting, you either have the main light on, or off, not too relaxing. But it did have […] something very welcome, bedside power supplies... Breakfast (included) was fine, I gorged on Pain au Chocolat and decent coffee. The free internet access was running at about half a meg in my room in late afternoon, dropping away to nowt by the time everyone had checked in in the evening. There is a decent Hi Speed OTA mobile broadband signal. The nearest underground took about a 20 minute walk along a main street, no problem there. Local food OK, quite a nice Chinese down the road. My room was overlooking the main road and I was glad to have brought ear-plugs, but this is true of any hotel by a busy road. Overall I was happy with my stay for the price and will stay again.
