The rooms were very spacious. Beds comfortable and extra pillows supplied -comfy as well Rooms clean and well-serviced - short 1o minute walk to City centre - staff helpful with taxis and information

My wife & I stayed for a week at Clifton Suites last week. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment which was great as we also got 2 bathrooms. Only complaint was that each bathroom had a basin sunk into a countertop with virtually no surround so no room to put out toiletries which was awkward. The underfloor heating in the bathrooms however was a […] dream. We turned these up past midpoint and it kept the whole apartment beautifully warm as Canberra is chilly in the evenings at this time of year. King size bed was very comfortable and plenty of spare blankets. Apartment was nicely furnished and was serviced every day. Having a restaurant downstairs that offered round the clock room service was a bonus. A selection of newspapers daily free of charge was also a nice touch. Convenient to everything; very spacious rooms. Lovely staff. Only problem was a lift breakdown one morning but just a minor inconvenience. Great value even though it was Anzac Day holidays.

The hotel is designed more for a long stay as our room had its own laundry and cooking facilities. As a couple, an upgrade to a two bedroom suite was rather odd as we didn't need two bedrooms and two bathrooms but we appreciated the gesture. The apartment was very large and comfortable and the balcony fabulous. The helpfullness of staff was excellent. The location was excellent and underground parking provided good sized car spaces.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We went to Canberra to see the Lautreck exhibition and it was a convenient place to be in. As we were joined by a friend, the 2 bedroom apartment was comfortable and suited our needs.

Clifton Suites on Northbourne is exactly what we expected. The rooms where big and clean. The parking was great and the hotel was quiet which was surprising since it was so central. The service was good and the bar downstairs was nice to have a drink in the evening as well.

Great suites very spacious we'll appointed. Staff really helpful easy going, requests no trouble, just what you want in a hotel stay. Really like the restaurant & pool. Even the building site across the road didn't dampen experience. Have stayed there twice now same experience both times. I doubt you'd be disappointed.

I have been in other hotels but this was the best. The only criticism would be that the AC was on the wrong side of the room and blew in our faces.

Very pleasant well designed hotel at great location. Plenty of parking spaces, comfortable rooms with kitchen which has everything you require. It is difficult to criticize anything, if one really has to then it would be waiting time for elevators. The hotel has 2 lifts but could do perhaps with 4.

This is a lovely hotel. We stayed 5 days in a one bed service apartment. On the day we arrived, the manager was friendly and helpful. We have a 30 months with us and found this is a nice place to stay if you have a young family. The hotel is suited in a good location and there are supermarktets, cafes and McDonalds around. The room is clean, modern, tidy, well-kept and well air-conditioned. All in all, it meet our expectations. We are so pleased with our choice and will come back again. They charged for a late checkout (only requested until 12:00). This is despite the hotel not being busy at all. My view is when your check-in time is 2:00pm, you should try to accommodate late checkout requests when you can at no extra charge. It was very nice place to stay. We had plenty of room to relax in the apartment. Very clean. Even though Clifton Suites are on Northbourne Avenue we rarely heard any traffic going by. The reception staff were very friendly and informative.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment for four nights. First impressions were very good - the living area was enormous. Apartment was very clean and comfortable, with full kitchen and laundry facilities. Location is a couple of minutes drive from the city centre , and about the same distance from nearest supermarket and petrol stations. We hadn't intended […] to eat in the hotel but decided it was easiest on the first evening, rather than look for a restaurant in the city. This turned out to be a very good decision; we were surprised how good the food was, and, compared to local restaurant prices, what good value it was. The service in the restaurant was excellent, and even the coffee was very good. Parking under the hotel was free. The only thing I didn't like was that Internet use was chargeable - I think that all hotels now should supply WiFi free of charge. Stayed for 2 nights mid-week. Hotel was in a good location and even though it's on a busy road I couldn't hear the traffic. Rooms were very spacious and a problem with the TV was fixed immediately. Lifts are a little slow but the take-away coffee in the restaurant is pretty good.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment for 4 nights. The Clifton Staff were fantastic, pleasant, & helpful. Our rooms were great, clean and with plenty of space. The price suited us and the location was good in walking to distance to alot of the sites and city. Overall a good experience.

We are a very easy family to please and do not have high expectations. We stayed for 7 days. We had a wonderful room with all facilities provided. The only downside is our room faced the main road and it was very noisy at night and in the morning. I am a very light sleeper and this kept me awake. The rear of the hotel would have been better. We had […] a full kitchen with dishwasher and the dishwasher powder was not provided every day unless you asked for it. In the end I went to the supermarket to buy my own. They were not great at replacing used items eg: toilet paper. Again, we had to ring and to have the roll replaced. We had room service on one occasion - NEVER again. The food was horrible, inedible and terribly overpriced. Overall the comfort and appearance of our room was outstanding, we were disappointed with the services provided.
