I wish I'd stayed more than one night. The hotel is beautiful and everyone of the employees I encountered were all very nice and courteous. The pool area was very nice, the grounds beautiful, the restaurants excellent, the Spa area clean and well maintained. Weird spot for a luxury hotel, but it lives up to the Four Seasons brand. Great service, good solid bar and food and those famous rooms! All good. Not a lot to do in the area, but I'm told the spa is world class.

Very nice hotel but wish our room would have had a mini refrigerator, wish there was a better way to use our room card/key to get back into the pool area from the garden area. Once outside of the Rot Iron gate from pool area you can't get back in, someone left a towel stuck in the door jam of the exercise room, so that is how we could get back into […] the hotel. Läs mer

The best the hotel I stayed at while traveling. Hotel staff helpful and friendly. Tuesday is Taco night, great food and cheap! - My room was fantastic, bed was amazing and having a espresso machine in the room, with no charge was so key. 5 stars!

Amazing staff, always helpful and smiling and professional. Fresh flowers and true art work for decor. Fresh apples, ice tea, water available 24/7. Spa facilities are above and beyond standard, equipped with all hygiene products, towels, drinks, fruit, steam room, sauna, jaccuzis, showers. The outdoor pool area has cabanas and plenty of beds and towels. […] When sunny, the pool area gets sunshine for 85% of the day light. The food served by the pool is also very good but a bit pricey. The checkin was easy, the staff was friendly. They charged you 22 dollars for parking your car. The area was not that nice and I felt like the hotel was tucked into an industrial park. The room was average , a bit outdated, but comfy. The bathrooms are good size. I am not sure this hotel is worth the price. New Years eve buffet was superb. Valet parking was convenient but way too expensive at $26 a day. Would recommend hotel.

We have a fondness for Four Seasons (FS), starting with our first stay in San Francisco years ago which remains one of our highlight hotel experiences. But now having stayed at multiple other FS hotels, I can say that the consistency is not there, and the Westlake FS was a huge disappointment. We liked the hotel location (near the Malibu beach which […] our son loved). The room was nice (like all FS) and bathroom was also nice. Self-parking was plentiful and the place was beautifully decorated in the Christmas theme. From our arrival, we realized the room felt pretty cold. The thermostat was set for 71 but it felt colder. Upon some investigation I found that cold air was constantly being blown into our room. We had some technician come by to fix it who basically didn't fix it at all. After another night/day of cold air after returning to the room, I insisted they fix it or move us. Their real engineer came and fixed the actual problem. There were no apologies when we checked out. After I reminded them of it, they refunded me self-parking charge. I would expect that a 5-star hotel would be aghast at the thought of their rooms not having heat for > 1 day (basic requirement for a room, let alone a non-cheap one). Aghast at the thought of angering customers who have stayed at multiple of their establishments. We plan to visit the SFO FS again just to see if FS has just fallen as a brand, or whether it is just a few one-off hotels. Very disappointing. Läs mer

Had a great stay at the Four Seasons! The room and hotel were nice as expected, but our family really enjoyed the "extras". The teen lounge with pool tables, computers, gaming consoles, etc were a big hit with out kids. They also enjoyed the kids club where they got to make holiday themed crafts and the Saturday night "snow" outside the lobby bar. Can't […] get much better than snow, hot chocolate and smores by the fire while listening to holiday music and watching holiday themed movies on the big screen. Turndown with fresh cookies, juice and popcorn was also a nice touch. We will definitely stay here again when in the area! Läs mer

It was a very comfortable hotel, and being the fuss-pot I am I was surprised to find that I had no complaints. The restaurant however was extremely expensive. Breakfast around 20.00 for two eggs. Watch that otherwise terrific.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and will keep coming back. Each time, my expectations are exceeded. The service is impeccable and the comfort is un-matched. The spa is one of the best in the world with wonderfully experienced therapists. I highly recommend this hotel to couples, families and business travelers...you won't be disappointed.

Enjoyed a nice upgrade to a suite. The Valet service kept the car in good shape and brought it up quickly when we needed it. Food was of course world class. Enjoyed the service staff as professionals and courteous.

So my blow dryer dissapeared after housekeeping came in. I do not believe they took it. I thought they put it in a drawer when they came in to clean and I forgot to pack it (out of sight out of mind). the fact that I called the hotel right away and they were not helpful at all was what bothered me, for what I spent there in a weekend ($1,000) I thought […] I would get better service and i thought they would gladly track down my blow dryer. Well what do you know! that did not happen and my calls where like a bother to them. needless to say i will not be coming back! Läs mer

We love the hotel, it's clean and comfortable! We didn't like the idea there's parking fee ($27 valet parking & $17 overnight parking). Also we like to point out reg. internet connection limitation to one electronic device per day policy, this is a ridiculous policy from a 5 star hotel.

Stayed here for our anniversary and we had a wonderful time. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the luxury robes they provided in the room.

Beautifully appointed lobby, interior and rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Food was mediocre but ambience was perfect. Really enjoyed the night.

Hotel is beautiful, food is excellent and staff is great. However, some little details were overlooked: There was no liner for the ice bucket, nothing was put on the pillow at turn down, our room did not receive a newspaper in the morning and I had to request a detailed invoice. Don't mean to sound picky, but it's supposed to be a five star hotel.

It was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The bathrooms are beautiful and the bed is super comfortable. The staff are nice and the amenities are even better. The indoor (family) pool is good place to relax.
