The Shower shot water out the top and over the shower curtain what a mess. Otherwise a nice quiet place to stay.
Beds are a bit firm, but staff is efficient, rooms are clean and a great value.

Older motel but very clean and well maintained. Continental breakfast was provided. In all, a very pleasant experience. Comfortable, safe, nice playground for kids.

This motel was a good place to stay for the price. Although the motel is an older motel, it is in good condition and appears to be well taken care of. I would definitely stay there again.

Started with a warm friendly greeting at front desk. Room was small but very clean and comfortable. A true value for the price and would gladly stay there again

Our room at this courtyard motel was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was vintage tile in the tub/shower; the beds are relatively new & comfortable. A very basic continental breakfast was provided--cereal, toast, muffins, bagels, soft boiled eggs, coffee, mil juice, etc... The motel wifi signal was weak at our room; we were located at the far end […] of the courtyard. However, the wifi signal was strong in the breakfast area. "NO NO NO NO!!!!!!"
the bathroom was GROSS! the hotel manager was less than friendly! the amount we paid was not what was listed on HOTELS.COM! the beds were VERY HARD. the room had no AC on before we arrived and it was very hot and musty in the room. it did cool down pretty quickly though. there was practically NO breakfast. we did like that the room had three queen size […] beds... it simplified our sleeping arrangments. i would NOT stay here again! i have stayed in some very nice hotels for what this less than parr motel charged us! "A pleasant surprise"
The Blue Spruce was a nice surprise for my wife and I as we traveled through to Colorado. We found it to be a clean and comfortable motel with friendly employees that provided us with any help we needed. We will not hesitate to stay there again.

"blue spruce motel lamar colorado highly recomended"
This motel has a small pool outside and a playground area right on the motel grounds. We rented this room for 3 nights. It had 3 queen sized beds, fridge, iron, and board, blowdryer, table chairs lamps and a kitchen sink, and plenty of drawer space to unpack your things. It was a very spacious, clean and new looking room. the best thing of all was there […] was a sink INSIDE the bathroom and outside it. So while your inside the bathroom you actually have privacy and can be quiet without waking everyone else up. the bathroom was completely pink - toilet shower tiles - very pretty. The only thing i wasnt exited with was the beds were just a little on the hard side. I like softer beds, but thats pretty much impossible in a hotel room. I have stayed in 4 other hotels in my visits to lamar and overall this was the best and ill never stay anywhere else while in Lamar. Get a room here and youll not be disappointed. Läs mer

Very comfortable, homey, friendly and immaculate older motel. Superbly maintained. Nice playground, basketball hoop, and charming little pond. Friendly, helpful, accommodating family proprietors.

"above and beyond"
The owners have transformed this older building with surprisingly nice furnishings. It feels very clean and safe. What really set it apart for me was the generosity and friendliness of the proprietors. It will be continue to be my regular lodging for my twice-yearly visits to Lamar.
