Hotell Orchard Garden Hotel - San Francisco

Ett mycket välhållet och mysigt hotell, med eko-profil. Lite roande för oss européer att man framhåller tvål- och schampodispenser i badrummet som något innovativt. Men i alla fall... :o)) Det är bra läge i utkanten av finanskvarteren. Var tyst och lugnt. Promenadavstånd ner till Pier1 och en halvtimme att gå till Fishermans Warf ungefär.

Hotellet är väldigt fräscht, det ligger i rätt kvarter på en lugn gata och nära till det mesta i stan. Vi bodde på våning 10 av 10 och det enda som man kan klaga på var trycket i duschen men det är en petitess i sammanhanget och om natten lät det som att en fläkt på taket gick igång som lät en hel del. I övrigt var allt till belåtenhet

Det finns inget att anmärka på över huvud taget, vi hade bara velat ha frukost för att höja det till skyarna. Fantastiskt bra läge där det är väldigt trevliga restauranger i närheten, allt är helt enkelt kanon. Rekommenderas VARMT!

This hotel is in a good location making easy access to most parts of the city. Friendly staff, good service. Room was a little small, but fine for two people. I was worried that because our room was right next to the housekeeping storage room, noise might wake us up early in the morning, but I am happy to say it did not! we enjoyed our 2nights stay at orchard garden it was in walking distance of union square. And china town Bedrooms arev a good size and very clean. we will return to the same hotel again.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, quiet location, comfortable room. If not for the toe nail and dead bug on the carpet when I walked in the room, I would have rated the cleanliness higher. Suggest the rooms are vacuumed when guests check out of the hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Location good for all the sights. Very close to Chinatown. Had booked a king double but we were told on arrival that they had all been sold and we were given a twin room which had two double beds. Room very comfortable and staff very helpful. Would certainly return.

The hotel was in an ideal location, at the entrance to Chinatown and very close to shopping at all the upscale stores and Union Square. We had a double/double on the street side. I had read reports that the street-side rooms were quite noisy, but we didn't have a problem sleeping, even though we were there on the weekend. The only extraordinary noise […] was a garbage truck early one morning. The room was more spacious than I expected and very comfortable. The one small criticism I have is that they should have instructions in the room as to how to use the DVD player. The hotel was very comfortable. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. The location is quite good, though it's still a bit of a walk to Market Street. I didn't eat in the vicinity of the hotel, but it looked like there were quite a few places to get food nearby.

I had a generally great stay at Orchard Garden! Two issues I took with the place though: First, there was one woman at the desk who was rude both when I called to see if my room was ready for check-in and when I requested an extra half an hour for checkout due to a meeting that ran until the designated noon checkout time. She treated me like a child […] and was highly unpleasant. Second, the room was pretty small. Fine for one person, but quite cramped for two. Those aside, the rest of the staff was extremely accommodating and the room was clean and fresh. The location cannot be beat - a door down from Chinatown, great shopping, and a 10 minute walk to Washington Square Park. I'd stay again, especially if I didn't have to valet my car for $40/night! The Orchard Park is a very well maintained and friendly mid-sized hotel. It's clean, quiet and well-located near Union Square and just outside the Grant Ave. Chinatown gateway.

Easy to find, next door to gate into China Town. I was given choice of quiet room on 3rd floor or near the elevator. I would have preferred a higher floor, but took the quiet room. It was quiet. The room was too small for 2 people. Had to practically turn sideways to walk between bed and dresser. Nice pleasing renovation. We loved this hotel. It's convenient to everything downtown, the staff are extremely helpful (they kept our bags after checkout until our shuttle pick up time), and the bedding is so comfortable. Anytime we go back to SF we'll stay there!

Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The bedding is scrumptious and calm-inducing. The location can't be beat-near Union Square, Belden Place, Chinatown and Powell St. cablecar. Even my extremely picky 19-year-old son liked it and he doesn't like anything.

Excellent on several levels: location, room cleanliness, quality of staff, & price. The location is close to Union Square, Chinatown & the Financial District, which made a perfect choice for us. Mant great restaurants are closeby. I highly recommend & plan on returning for future trips to San Francisco.

I was there for New Year’s. The Hotel staff was very helpful in all of our needs. Gave us directions and tips to where we wanted to go and suggested other great sightseeing places. Location of the hotel was just blocks from the shopping area. My only complaint is that there is low water pressure in the shower. The hotel staff was very helpful in helping us figure out the public transit system. Rooms were clean and rather large for San Francisco. The room had no street noise, which was great. Everyone was very nice, friendly and professional. The bed was wonderful! I have two comments; the coffee maker and coffee in the room is dismal. I was unable to figure out how to work the machine and the coffee was weak and terrible. Coffee machines are typically relatively easy to operate. The 2nd comment is that the newspaper was at the front desk, […] not outside the door. Very clean, quiet and nicely furnished. Our room was bright and spacious enough for 2. Staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary toiletries were of very good quality. Within walking distance to many good restaurants and great shopping. We would love to stay here again.

I liked the free WiFi. My bed was really very comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I never tried the food as there was too much choce on the doorstep. My only gripe was that the dressing gowns are made of two ply material do they were prone to lots of static.

We stayed here before a football game. The street is extremely congested and only a small space to pull in front of the hotel if its not full they don't have parking at the hotel they use a third party parking service expect 30-40 minutes if you try to.get your car out. When we left it took 2 hours to get our car because they lost our car we ended up […] being so late to our football game we missed the first quarter. Rooms are decent and clean but the location outside is dirty and several transients hanging around out side. I would not recommend this place the intercontinental is much nicer has in house valet that doesn't cost 45 dollars a day and they are much more friendly Läs mer

We wished we could have opened the windows. SF has a nice climate, especially in October, and this is supposed to be a green hotel. We also wished we could have turned off the AC without turning off every light. Other than that, it was great.
