Valde att bo på Art Deco Imperial då det såg väldigt modernt ut på bilderna - vi sökte någon typ av modernt/design hotell, men blev lite besvikna när vi såg hotellet i verkligheten. Först trodde vi att vi hamnat på fel hotell - så stor var skillnaden mot bilderna. Det är ett helt OK hotell i gammal men fräsch stil med jättebra service och frukost nära […] gamla stan. The hotel is not in the heart of Old Town so it's quiet, but still a close walk away. Just down the street from La Republica, a great bar with music. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the breakfast buffet is in a stunning restaurant downstairs, and the food is great. The night staff was terrific fixing us breakfast sacks for an early morning flight. The […] only thing is that they charge you for a bottle of water in your room and internet access unless you're buying a drink in their bar or having breakfast. It's beneath them to be so cheap. It's a great place, include these small amenities in the cost. The minibar is different and extra and understood. Water to drink or make your coffee with should not be a charge. The rooms were a little small. My expectations were quite high after seeing from the picture online. However, the rooms that we got were not as nice. One of the room's in bathroom speakers were broken and lotion & shower liquid were not replenished on both days. The breakfast was top in a very beautifully decorated restaurant. The hotel location is convenience and the breakfast is also good. But the hotel room is not big enough.

Fantastic hotel, great location, couldn't have asked for more for a long weekend. Extremely friendly and helpful concierge/reception staff - recommended several fantastic activities/places we would have done/ seen otherwise.

As a fan of Art Deco I was drawn to this hotel as much by the name. Although it is not true Art deco it was lovely and my Junior suite was really good. Nice Brushed Gold items everywhere and a good blend of colours and woods to set it off. The Imperial cafe is spectacular the room service fast,and the food plentiful. the hotel is beautiful the staff is very helpful, they speak very good english the concierge desk is excellent, they help us book a driver from the airport and back. breakfast was great, lots of options and the restaurant is very nice. we will recomnd it to all our friends :)

We enjoyed much our pre-Christmas stay. The hotel is pretty wonderful, especially the grand, tiled dining room. Easy location, too, near the old town. Very friendly staff.

the art deco imperial hotel is a beautifulhotel in a great location in prague, it takes 3 to 4 minutes walk to old town square. breakfast is such a feast, enjoy your stay parking & wifi in rthe rooms are expensive, u don't need to rent a car in prague there's a busness center where the wifi 's free of charge

Excellent facilities, good location, and friendly personnel who speak excellent English make this hotel a great bargain for American travelers.

Art Deco Imperial Hotel is placed in the middle of the old town, where you have all the interesting buildings in Prague. When you arrive, don't ask for Art Deco hotel, only Imperial hotel, and then everybody knows where it is. I recommend a stay.

We stayed 5 days in Prague (July 2011) in an Exclusive Double bedroom at the Art Deco Imperial Hotel. On the good side: the bedroom was beautiful; huge, high ceiling, great bathroom and very clean. The hotel is well located just near Namesti Republiky; we walked everyday to the historical centre (it's about 10 min walk to the astronomical clock). On […] the less good side: service is poor at the hotel. We had two single beds (that we had to move together) instead of one king bed as requested. They had forgotten about the free internet and reception hardly pick up phone calls. The hotel concierge will inform you and book tickets to spectacles, but you have to grab him when he is at his desk. Housekeeping tried to enter our bedroom in the morning by mistake without knocking at the door or trying to make sure that nobody was in (hopefully we had the door chain on). It's a lot of small things, but all in all the service is approximative and sometimes lousy, not five star grade. We did not try the hotel restaurant, the breakfast is ok (again in a majestic art-deco dining room). We didn't need the service much, and again the hotel is beautiful, the bedroom is fantastic and very clean. So we had a very good stay and I would recommend to stay in this hotel. Läs mer

This hotel is located near all the major tourist sites, which can be reached on foot in ten minutes. The service is very professional, the rooms are excellent and the hotel restaurant can only be described as excellent.

This hotel is beautiful and has everything you need for your visit to Prague. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the Old Town Square which is kind of annoying but nice not to be in the busy section as well. Its about a 5 minute walk from the bus station. Enjoy your stay!!!

This is a wonderful hotel in a great location in Prague. The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgable, the rooms were beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable, and the restaurant was amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Prague.

My wife & I stayed in this hotel for a mid week break in July 2011. We found it to be an excellent hotel in a great location. The full American breakfast was excellent and we eat in the restaurant twice at night, both times the food was great and reasonably priced. The hotel was refurbished in 2006, but even now looks great. The hotel staff were friendly, […] the rooms were finished to a great standard. They have their own tourist desk to give help and tips and they offer their own car to pick you up (there is a cost for this) either from the airport on anywhere else you need picked up from. The only negative was that the trams run right outside the hotel. It might have been because one pane of our double glazed windows was open (which we couldn't reach to close), but the trams were quite noisy and ran (at a reduced level) all through the night. This didn't have a major impact on us, since we walked for miles through the day, so slept like a log on the very confortable bed! Läs mer

This hotel blew me away. Not only does it include a delicious breakfast, but the staff are very professional and polite and the rooms are luxurious and absolutely gorgeous. While the hotel is a little bit of a walk from the main attractions in Prague, I never had to take a tram or subway anywhere, and the walks are very pleasant. The hotel satisfyed all of our needs for a city break. Really enjoyed stay

Hotel names lives up to its reputation. Decor was really good.

The interior of the hotel and the de luxe room I had booked were visually impressive but the facilities left a lot to be desired. A maximum of four tea bags supplied to the room per day (and those mostly herbal!) - one was reminded in writing that tea was available in the coffee shop! Despite the well capitalised bathroom, towels were small (no bathsheets) […] as were duvets, no extra pillows or blankets in evidence in the room. A large plasma TV blaring out 'footie' in the cocktail bar did nothing to make me feel I had booked into a five star hotel! Bar service slow - and hotel reception 'suspect' - the hotel 'taxi' was significantly more expensive than those operating in the streets. The restaurant/ coffee shop is an art noveau masterpiece but the remainder of the hotel has been refurbished in similar style - but seemingly from the Czech equivalent of B&Q - except for the bathrooms! The hotel was beautifully restored. The rooms are elegant although a bit tight. The bathrooms are hugh with a separate tub and shower. The breakfast buffet was a daily feast. I would definitely stay here again. As to location, it is about an 8 minute walk to the town square.

We liked everything about this hotel, its location, its wonderful Imperial Cafe and the staff overall were helpful and pleasant, BUT we were assigned room 606 where the bathroom had a very nasty smell like sewer gas. After one night we complained and were moved to the 4th floor where the bathroom was fine. The bathroom in 606 has a serious plumbing […] problem and the room should not be used until it is sorted out. We had dinner in the Cafe a couple of times and enjoyed the food and service. We stayed for three honeymoon nights, close to old town square, perfect base for exploring a great city.

We found this Hotel absolutely superb. Our greeting at reception was lovely and staff extremely attentive. Very helpful by providing local information and maps. The hotel is walking distance to everything, trains and city. The hotel deco design is beautiful our room and bed extremely comfortable, the bathroom was really special. This was a great hotel and for me it was a great location. It wasn't in the heart of the tourist area, but it was only about a 5 minute walk to get there. The hotel was ver beautiful and the people working there were all nice, friendly and helpful. The room was great and comfortable. Beautiful hotel, very centrally located, helpful staff and wonder breakfast. A must stay when in Prague.

This place is loaded with charm and has very friendly staff. Restaurant is gorgeous and included breakfast was truly sumptuous. Definitely a place to recommend.

Overall, very nice hotel, but, lobby appearance is shabby for a five star hotel. However, the staff is very accommodating and we would recommend the hotel since the room was very nice and the restaurant was very good for dinner and dessert. My husband said the breakfast was good, but, nothing special. We did not use the spa facilities, but, that area […] looked really nice. We arrived by train and it was probably a 15 minute walk or the hotel said they would come pick you up for a small charge. Probably, a 15 minute walk to the main old town area which we enjoyed. We chose this hotel for its great location for walking into the centre of Prague, as well as it's decor and we weren't disappointed by either. Marble everywhere, and fantastic Art Deco pieces and touches in the rooms as well as the main spaces, making you feel you have stepped back in time to a more elegant era. Our room was a good size, and the bed […] very comfortable, (slept for an unheard of 9 hours after walking the city all day!) marble tiles in the bathroom, (although the bath was rather high to step into), as well as the mod cons you would expect TV, kettle, ironing board etc. Staff and Concierge in the hotel were friendly and helpful, especially as we arrived hours before our check in time. We had a B&B package and the breakfast buffet was excellent - even a choice of freshly made omelette if you wanted. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Prague. Läs mer

The Art Deco Imperial Hotel in Prague is a sensational hotel. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. Although a little expensive, the hotel is an excellent value. It's a five minute walk from the Hlavni Nadrazi Train Station and centrally located. The breakfast was marvelous and the staff was quick, and very courteous.
