Dette ligger sentralt, nära til Metro och alla sevärdheter i Rom. Frukosten var inte imponerande, men annars fungerade allt bra i ett litet och tryggt hotell.

Bra utgångspunkt för att utforska Rom. 100 meter till Metron och kanske 1 km till Petrikyrkan/Vatikanen. Mysigt ställe med bra rum, trevlig personal och mysig frukost.

Mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Mysigt och lugnt mitt i centrala Rom. Kommer gärna igen!

Ett litet hotell med charm. Trivdes jättebra. Rena rum och trevlig hotellpersonal. Dock lite lyhört, vi hade bebis med oss och väckte nog halva hotellet när han skrek. Ändå väldig familjär stämning, ingen verkade sur för att vi störde i alla fall... Hotellet ligger precis vid tunnelbanan som tar dig i närheten av de flesta sevärdigheter. Det här är ett pyttelitet hotell men det kan absolut rekommenderas. Personalen är underbar och rummen rena och fina! Hotellet ligger ett stenkast från både metro och Vatikanstaten. Kan absolut rekommendera detta! =)

This hotel experience was just okay. The location was good, close to the Vatican, good Restaurants and shopping. Hauling our luggage up two flights of stairs was challenging, some help with this would increase 'Hotel Service'; the room was very warm and the air-conditioning only slightly helped. Fantastic location with the Octtaviano Metro station just steps away. 10 minutes walk to St Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums. The place is located on the second level of an apartment block, so be prepared to carry your luggage up. Once we got past that,it was a nice stay in a nice clean spacious room. A good value for the price we paid.

I stayed in this hotel due to its proximity to the Vatican and a metro station (Ottaviano). It was certainly a convenient location, although I am glad we only booked one night as the neighbourhood is slightly rundown compared to central Rome where we stayed the night before (close to the Trevi Fountain). There are a few restaurants and places to go […] for a drink nearby towards the Vatican but not very much going on. The staff were friendly, the room and bathroom were quite spacious and breakfast was quite good (cold meats, cheeses, yogurts, pastries, bread and spreads, coffeee/tea, squash) so our stay was good overall. We stayed here for 5 days. The place was old but adequate.. on the Vatican City side of ROme, but easy to walk everywhere and right across from the metro. The morning staff, Mauritzia , was wonderful. Others were bland. The TV was old and we could get nothing in enlgish, . I wouldnt NOT recommend it, but it was not a "find"

The down side was there was no elevator and you had to lug your stuff 3 floors up. The toilet had a sewer smell and there was a problem with the flushing of the toilet on our last full day. The hotel staff, Mauricia and John were the best! Very, very pleasant staff.

Hotel was nice and staff was very nice and helpful, even if their English was not the best. A very pleasant experience to stay here. It was not particularly cheap, but it was one of the cheaper options close to any major sights of Rome (near Termini is cheaper and also rather close to the city, but those blocks are also not very nice). Only caution; […] the breakfast was simple and the bread did not feel so fresh (perhaps it was from vacuum packs). Only reason to stay out is if a large filling breakfast is important to you. II Gattopardo Relais in Rome was our first stop in Rome, small and clean place were you feel that are you visiting a family friend home, is well located , close to the Vatican and St petter basilica, just one block to the metro station, the rooms pretty good for european standard, clean bath and bed, the breakfast limited but ok to start a long day […] in Rome, however keep in mind that this place is not our traditional US Hotel,is an appartment converted in a hotel without elevator and plenty privacy. The hotel has a very good location with clean room and very good breakfast.

Hotel is charming and well maintained. Room was very comfortable, and quiet day and night. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Only negative was carrying lugguge up stairs. Great location for seeing the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica. Lots of restaurant options nearby.

My wife and I were surprised by the cosiness of the hotel and the very nice rooms. Our room was quite large and it was a perfect "home" for us while exploring Rome. Service if friendly and very helpful. Everything is on walking distance, like Metro and sights like the Vatican and Castel Sant Angelo. Once you arrive at the castle, you are already at […] the Tiber river with the old historic city center one bridge away. For other Rome destinations you can take the metro. Great location if you want to stay by the vatican. Just a block away from the metro also made this hotel very convenient. We arrived at 10 am hoping hotel would keep our luggage until check in time and they let us check in early. We also overslept one day and they still served us breakfast. Hotel location is a bit difficult to find if you do not know […] Rome (which we didn't). You must ring the door bell to enter building. Hotel lobby and rooms were on the second floor and you must climb alot of steps to get there. TV was a little iffy, but who really watches TV while in Rome? Läs mer

This hotel is great if you are going to see the Vatican. Otherwise, it would have made more sense to stay near Trevi fountain to be close to all the Roman sights. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was nice in the morning. We were afraid there would be a lot of traffic noise but there was hardly any at night. Very convenient location when vist Rome specially visiting Vatican city. The area is very well situated with a metro station within a block away. Good places to eat and shop I definetly will be looking yo stay in this hotel the next time I visit Rome.

Il Gattopardo Relais is a comfortable hotel with very nice staff. The hotel is located in a quiet section of the city, which is very good to have for sleeping. Our room was clean and the heated towel racks were a hit with my wife! We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is more like a B+B...you have a private room and bath on the same floor as the recpetion area (we were right next to/ behind the front desk). The day staff is very friendly (esp Christina)and helpful. Evening staff was fairly "invisible" (I think they sleep over night during the shift) so after 9pm, they are usually not at the desk but can […] be reached by phone in your room or buzzer from the street. They keep your room key at the desk when you are out and you are buzzed into the building by the front desk. It is located on the 2nd floor of a business building, no elevator and the sign tot he hotel is small so keep a keen eye for it. The rooms surround the lobby area and breakfast room...so you can hear noise in the common area and if you are facing the sreet, then street noice is audible as well. They do have black out shades to keep some of the noise and the morning light at bay and AC in the room. The room is spacious but the bathroom shower is TIGHT (it is a wedge shaped stall). Location is good, 5 minute walk from the vatican/sistine chapel and st peter's square, metro on the corner wil take you to all the sights. Perelli restaurant just around the corner is very good, casual, family friendly (we were there with our one year old on her 1st birthday!)Wine bar/Restaurant with great gelato across the street, another good gelataria on the corner, good wine bar/cafe next door with cover seating on the street. When looking for hotels in Rome I had 3 conditions: Close to a metro, Reasonably Priced, Walking distance of the Vatican. This hotel met all 3, it was a good hotel for the money and in a good location. We felt safe at night coming into the hotel, and the metro station is literally a 3 minute walk. So here goes, pros and cons: CONS: 1) The front door […] of the building the hotel is located in is always locked and you have to be buzzed in. 2) The entrance is very hard to find, we walked around for probably 20 minutes trying to locate it. It looks like just a normal apartment building because there were buttons to ring up to different floors, and it turned out one of them was the hotel's. The hotel actually starts on floor 3 and the picture they have posted with the spiral staircase isn't even part of the hotel, it's just part of the main building. 3) *No Elevator* We had to lug all of our luggage up 2 floors of the spiral staircase to get to the lobby. If you are traveling with anyone with a disability or who doesn't handle stairs very well this hotel isn't for you. 4) The rooms are a bit small and bed was a little stiff 5) No alarm clock in the rooms PROS: 1) Hotel staff was very friendly and spoke English. They recommended a few good restaurants to us and gave good directions 2) There is someone in the lobby 24 hours a day (this is *Very* important because you actually have to be buzzed into the front door of the hotel from the street because it's always locked) 3) Hotel was clean 4) Located very close to the Ottaviano metro station (3 min walk) 5) Safe location Läs mer

Within walking distance of the Vatican and 1 block from the Metro. Room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was very good. Room was ready early (noon) and they let us keep our bags there after checkout. Considering the price, the value was excellent.

This hotel was outstanding for the price we paid. It is conveniently located a 4 minute walk from the Ottaviano subway station, in a nice safe area of town. The staff were friendly, and let us check in to our room as soon as we arrived. As is common with some small hotels in Rome, it's one floor of a regular building, so the hotel only had a few rooms, […] and it was quiet. The staff assisted us with getting a restaurant reservation for some "real Roman food" (not pizza!) when all of the restaurants in our guidebook that we had picked were closed for the August holiday period. We ate at a wonderful prix fixe restaurant an 8 minute walk from the hotel at Osteria dell' Angelo on via Giovanni Bettolo 24, which I highly recommend! The restaurant was all regular Romans - we were the only Americans! The double room (two single beds) was big enough for the two of us, the bathroom was clean and the tv worked (if you wanted to spend your time in Rome watching TV, which you shouldn't!) Location was great. The staff was the best and the worst. We were welcomed by a jerk! It was bad, however, the guy at night was the best we dealt with in our travels. Hotel was great!

This is a smaller hotel in comparison with the other larger chains, being only 6 rooms on the second level of a nondescript building. I think most Taxis and tour companies would not know about this place. However, the quality of service is top-notch, the room that we received was very spacious and clean. It seemed that the bathrooms were recently re-done, […] and the place is extremely quiet; You'll definitely get a good night's sleep here. Great free breakfast, and all of the staff speaks English. Il Gattopardo Relais was definitely the best hotel I have stayed in so far in Rome. I travelled with my family (2 adults and 2 kids) and I have to say the service and comfort was excellent. We arrived late mid-week and the night porter couldn't have been moree helpful. The room was clean with comfortable beds and the breakfast was excellent. The rooms are incredible and so is the staff. The vatican is a 5 minute walk and the metro is 1 block away. However, there is no elevator and hauling 6 pieces of luggage up to the 2nd floor (more like third floor since ground floor is business -not hotel) was quite the ordeal (no bell hop to help with luggage). I stayed at this hotel and Hotel Napoleon. […] If no elevator is not a big deal, then Gettopardo is for you! We were a little concern about this hotel, especially when the taxi driver could not easily locate the hotel. The entrance/door to the hotel is easy to miss, because it is only a door with a small plaque on the wall for the hotel name. Then you would have to ring the bell to be let in. But this tucked away 6 rooms hotel is a pleasure surprise find. […] It is very comfortable and relatively clean, the small hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Albergo di buon livello in ottima posizione, vicinissimo a Piazza San Pietro. Unico neo: tubature rumorose che disturbano il sonno ed un leggero sentore sgradevole proveniente dal bagno peraltro nuovo e pulito. Si trova all'interno di una palazzina che é occupata anche da abitazioni private e uffici. L'albergo si trova solo al primo piano e quindi é […] molto piccolo. Non ho avuto modo di valutare gli spazi comuni perché, dato il soggiorno di poche ore, non ne ho usufruito. het hotel was bijzonder gezellig. De ontbijtruimte was wel nogal krap, maar dat droeg ook wel wat bij aan van het gezellig karakter. De receptie bevindt zich in de gang, waarop alle deuren van alle kamers uitgeven. We hadden schrik dat we daarom stilletjes moesten zijn, maar de kamers zijn gelukkig zeer geluidsdicht.

Hotellet lå veldig nært Vatikanet og kun 2 min unna Metroen som lett tok deg med til de andre severdighetene i Roma. Hyggelig strøk med flere restauranter og kafeer. Hyggelig betjening og roomservice hver dag. Lite og intimt hotell med kun 6 rom. Akkurat passe stor frokost. Perfekt hotell for de som vil bruke mest mulig tid i byen Roma og ikke oppholder […] seg særlig mye på hotell rommet. Läs mer

Et fantastisk fint hotel til prisen. Ligger i et dejligt stille og roligt kvarter med få meter til metro. Værelserne var fine, velholdte og rengøringen i top. Kan varmt anbefales

Vi havde 4 overnatninger på hotellet, som er et lille men hyggeligt hotel centralt placeret 10 min. gang fra peterspladsen. Værelset var ok og badeværelset var helt nyt.. Meget hjælpsomt personale,så man fik fornemmelsen af, at det var et lille familiedrevent foretegende hvor kundeservice har høj prioritet. Hotellet ligger meget tæt på Peterskirken og Vatinkanmueet. Det ligger desuden meget tæt på metrostation, så man meget hurtigt kan komme til den øvrige del af Roms seværdigheder. Personalet er meget hjælpsomme og gør meget for, at man skal føle sig godt tilpas. We needed 4 rooms at last minute in Rome , and most of what was available was near the airport, modern , huge and impersonal. But with only 24 hours to spend in Rome, we wanted to be in the center. We LOVED the fact that we almost had the Gattopardo to ourselves (they only have 6 rooms) and immediately felt at home. Giorgio was helpful from the time […] we checked in till check out. The rooms were huge, beautifully decorated with period pieces (one even had a patio!); air conditioned (Roman heat wave made that a necessity) and internet easy and not too expensive by European standards (5 euros for 12 hours).
