Snygg design på rummet, trist att det inte finns balkong. Ligger helt ok, dock en bit från hamnen. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Staden Genova är inget speciellt, men ligger ett par trevliga restauranger längst hamnen och kan varmt rekommendera restaurangen mitt emot hotellet. Fantastisk fisk och skaldjurstsllrik och trevlig personal.

Mycket fint hotell! Modernt, rent och fräsht. Vår TV fungerade inte på det första rummet och vi blev direkt uppgraderade till ett bättre rum. Hårda sängar kan man kanske klaga lite på. Gym och spa i källaren som var helt okej. Rekommenderar att äta på Eataly som ligger i närheten!

The Melia Genova is a nice hotel. But definitely not a 5 star hotel as they claim. My wife and I stayed here for 6 days in May, 2013. Everything about this hotel is average. The rooms were clean and the service was OK. The air-conditioning in our room would stop working everyday and I would have to ask the front desk to have maintenance turn it back […] on. The tiles on the pool were falling off and i'm pretty sure there was something growing on the walls in the steam room. The fitness room equipment appeared to be brand new and it all worked. The food in the restaurant was average. If i had to stay in Genoa again i would stay here but now I know that I am staying at a nice 3 star hotel and wont be expecting a 5 star hotel. I spent 2 nights at this hotel in April/13 and it was quite disappointing. The level of service is not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. They first refused to turn on the air conditioning because they said we could open the window. Only after complaining a lot they decided to turn on the AC in our room. Everything was so good until i realized it was so hot in the room and can not do anything about it. Air conditioning system seems not to react to whatever i press on its controler. Ristrante downstairs was superb, although bit pricey. Mni bar is overrated and they should do something about it... Gorgeous hotel in a very good area. Within easy walking distance of many of Genoa's best attractions. Very modern and comfortable rooms. Motorized window shades, TV hidden in Bath mirror were great touches. Too few outlets in room and they were strangely not near the large desk provided. Comfortable room with good service and just fantastic breakfast. A 10 minute walk to the centre of town. We had a side facing room which was quiet and peaceful. The Spa was very relaxing with steam room and mist rooms. The only reason it didn't get full marks was beacause of only two very minor aspects- the PC keyboard didn't connect with the TV and […] there didn't appear to be slippers (though other guests did seem to have them - handy for the spa), apart from that great in every way and highly recommended. Don't use the hotel shuttle from the airport. It's 60 Euros, and a taxi is 30 Euros. Nice modern room with 5 Engish speaking TV channels, great breakfast!!

This hotel is probably the best in Genoa. It's safe location, proximity to the Brignole train station, and comfortable and modern rooms make it the only place to stay in Genoa. Don't forget to check out the pool downstairs!

Really impressed with this hotel. Room was spotlessly clean, and was decorated in a modern contempory style. The staff were friendly and efficient. Great buffet breakfast. Spa was good too. The pool is more of a plunge pool in size but the basement setting in the tropical rainstorm theme adds a bit of drama. Would definately recommend this hotel.

Very good hotel. Staff were professional. Breakfast was excellent. Only regret was that Wi-fi use in the room was charged, although using wi-fi in the lobby was free. 4 star hotel should give free wi-fi in the room. We would goback to this hotel.

Great,comfortable,clean hotel, amazing rooms and bathrooms. Bad exterior signage at night, Don't give your clothes for cleaning or eat at the hotel but other than that would recommend and return. We used Genoa as a base camp and went on day trips exploring Milan, Como, Porto fino, Cannes, Monaco, for that it was perfect

Good value. Beautiful room. Convenient. Parking costs $35. Per night. Breakfast costs $30 but if you sign up for promotion it is half that. Find a McDonald where coffee, croissant and ok for. $4.00. Shower drain ran slowly even after telling staff who did offer to move us.

The room was amazing: comfortable and easy to relax in. The breakfast was really good and included a variety of items. They were also dog-friendly. However the service was mixed... they were friendly but were often slow in responding to our requests. The cleaning staff was only available during the day. One of the prettiest, cleanest, hotels I have ever stayed in. Located walking distance from everything Genoa has to offer, and a truly 5 star experience, for an amazing price. The room was enormous, the bathroom was beautiful, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Modern, smartly furnished hotel with good sized rooms about 15 minutes (hilly) walk from the old city. Reception is understaffed and whilst polite, not as helpful as might be expected. Location does not compare favourably with some other tourist hotels but given the decor, rooms and accommodation 'deal' offered it represents good value.

The hotel is in a leafy suburb of Genoa and is conveniently located near a bus stop. The hotel itself is stylish and modern and a lovely breakfast was included in our rate. The standard room is rather compact, but we upgraded and were put into a suite which was stunning.

This Hotel is aMUST for a stay in Genova. With the beautiful building, modern and stylish decoration and very pleasant staff, we wished we could have stayed longer. A great value hotel overall. We paid a very reasonable price for a standard room and were very pleased. Hotels in Genoa aren't cheap in general and in fact this was cheaper than some of a much poorer standard, e.g. one of the marina hotels. The location isn't right in the middle of the action, but Genoa is such a small place its still walkable (15 mins […] tops) or there's a taxi rank right outside the hotel. Its location also stands in its favour as its quiet and safe, with a few bars across the road. Nice looking bar area, though we didn't use it. Lovely pool, though naturally small. All felt luxurious and yet relaxed at the same time. Our room was the most basic they do and, whilst not exactly huge, was perfectly fine and had a lovely parquet floor. Would highly recommend. We were SOOOO pleased with our stay at the Hotel Bentley. It is a beautiful hotel. We arrived there at the end of our 3 week trip, a little tired and a little frustrated. Hotel Bentley to the rescue. The bentley Hotel is excellent in every way. It is quite a steep walk uphill away from the town but there is a bus that takes you virtually to your doorstep and numerous taxis. Wonderful room and bathroom. Can't fault it.

The hotel was very modern with a clean room. TV embeded into the mirror in the bathroom. There was no shampoo supplied. We called housekeeping to deliver shampoo, but it was not delivered. Even though the rate included "Free-Internet" there was a charge listed when I attempted to log-on. The front desk did not supply a complimentary internet code. There […] was a greak local restaurant within 5 minutes walk from the hotel - they did not speak any English but the experience was wonderfull. The breakfast buffet was disappointing, certainly not up to the standards of a 5 Star hotel. The scrambled eggs and potatoes were cold. The hotel is located in a quiet area but is a short and safe stroll into the 'center' of town in which you will also have to walk down a flight of stairs (but there is a lift as well). The rooms are well supplied, very clean and lovely decorated, the bathroom and the shower is wonderful. The room was set at a good temperature upon arrival. The front […] desk was able to give us good instructions and even a great restaurant to eat near the port which was a very good suggestion. The breakfast experience at the restaurant was really bad. All the waiters ignored us despite the fact we were there first and continued to service the Italians first. We ended up setting our own table after waiting about 15 minutes! In addition, the food was limited as they were always running out of food, though they tried to refill it (but not always very efficient at doing so).
