Room very clean. Could walk across floor barefoot and feet didn't get dirty. Service excellent always polite and with a smile. Very close to saenger theater where we went for a concert really within walking distance. The service was real good on an overall base. Therefore, their priced restaurant Trellis, nice with good presentation but overpriced below standard food. The veal medallion had a nice presentation, therefore, I could not cut it with a regular knife and difficult with a steak knife. The taste had a freezer burn flavor. "We would definitely stay again"
We chose this hotel for its location and historic charm and we were more than pleased. You could almost see the mardi gras balls that must have taken place there in the beautiful entry way and chandelier lined banquet rooms. Not only was the staff extremely nice (during a very busy weekend being Bayfest), but the hotel has a great rooftop deck and is […] attached to a really nice spa and pool.
