Hotellet ligger något avsides och bil rekommenderas om man tänkt utforska området kring Arenal. Hotellet ligger väldigt vackert mitt i regnskogen. De har fokus på biodynamisk och organisk odling och all mat som serveras på restaurangen kommer från den egna gården. Utmärkt service. Vanlig pool och bubbelpool. Möjlighet till SPA-behandlingar. Rekommenderas varmt.

If you have a car, this is the place to stay. We did not and still stayed for four days, booking one day at a time. The hotel is about 6-8 kilometers outside of la fortuna. It has a nice pool, beautiful nature, all kinds of fruit trees in the garden, birds of all kinds just next to where you have breakfast, wifi all around the property and nice clean rooms with bathroom and shower. A brekfast is included that is good and sufficient for the average guest. A good typical costa rican dinner is prepared if you ask for it, but there is no menu. Mario and Ever, the main guys working here, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They helped us mostly with all kinds of information, and of course tourbooking etc. But other than that we had conversations about anything and we really felt at home when we came back from our tours. And one of the best parts was the nature experience, I think we saw as much smaller wildlife in the picturesque hotel garden as we did on any tour we were on around arenal. And almost no traffic on the tiny road outside the hotel, witch means no noise except from the birds. ONE DOWNSIDE: The distance from la Fortuna makes restaurant visits a bit tricky. With a car there is no problem, but otherwise a taxi is needed wich is pretty expensive, around 10 dollars in each direction when we write this.

"Good but not amazing"
The hotel is very close to downtown. The rooms are comfortable but the safety box it doesn´t work and the jacuzzi on the fist floor is a little bit cold.Verifierad gästrecension
"Bad plumbing"
Everything was fine except the fact that our toilet was constantly clogging up. Both mornings we had to go down to my parents room to use the restroom because our toilet wouldn't work properly. "Serves a purpose"
This hotel was a good option for being reasonably priced in a great location with a GREAT view. It has a few cool pools (1 larger and two hot tub size) and a slightly warmer one right at the bar. No hot tubs, no hot springs. The rooms were decent (a few ants in the bathrooms - hard to avoid so I don't hold them responsible) and we had multiple difficulties […] with the door lock of our first room before having to switch rooms due to an air-conditioner malfunction. The rooms have outstanding views of the volcano. (I believe all rooms directly face the volcano, so if it's not covered with clouds, you can't miss it!) It is nice that includes breaktfast, although your enjoyment of it will depend on your tastes and comparisons. We liked it one morning of our stay and not the other. This hotel is relatively small and basic and certainly seems to serve a purpose for those looking for a basic hotel in which to sleep with a few basic amenities, but you will definitely want to go elsewhere for the hot springs or higher end choices. "Good Hotel"

"Perfectly fine, nothing special"
We only stayed here one night. The hotel was perfectly fine. It lacks any Costa Rican charm or feel, but the rooms were very comfortable and nice. The front desk staff wasn't great, but we had a couple of little issues and the maintenance crew was there promptly. The restaurant staff was very nice. They have a nice breakfast buffet.
