Vi är nöjda. Trevlig, professionell,tillmötesgående personal. Renligt, snyggt, lugnt område. Mkt bra frukost

Jättecharmigt och trevligt hotell med mycket god frukostbuffe. Wi-fi fungerade tyvärr dåligt på rummet och AC gick inte att få påslaget (mars) trots mycket varmt väder. Rummet var därför både varmare och mer kvavt än övriga hotellutrymmen. Praktiskt nära Metron, men också gångavstånd till Colloseum (strax under 10 min) och city (ca 20 min).

Bra hotell, mycket bra läge! Gångavstånd till allt om man orkar, annars finns metron precis runt hörnet! Bra frukost, trevlig personal. Dock var sängen väldigt hård, lyhört utifrån, bilars om tuttar, folk som pratar låter rakt in rummet! Annars var de bra isolerat, hörde ingenting från de andra rummen. - lite krångligt internet man var tvungen att hämta olika koder till varje dag. läget var inte så bra, nära till colosseum men inga restauranger direkt. inte ett typiskt 4-stjärnigt hotell, mer 3-stjärnigt. + frukosten var bra stilrent o snyggt i övrigt

Bra service, rent, fräscht och tyst. Standard över medel, internationell stil. Bra frukost. Hjälpsam personal. Hotellet ligger på promenadavstånd från Colosseum, och vill man inte gå finns både buss & tunnelbana nära. OK område utan stök och annat osäkert. Utmärkt AC gjorde vistelsen på hotellet extra trevlig i Juli/Augusti. Vi tycker att hotellet var mycket bra och höll precis vad det lovade. Prisvärt, centralt, fräscha lokaler, klimatanläggning på rummet (ac) , trevlig personal, servis 24 timmar om dygnet, bra frukost mm. En extra stjärna i kanten va att det fanns gratis Wi-Fi.

Ett bra hotel lite utanför all stress i Rom. Rummet var helt ok men varmvattnet slutade fungera sista kvällen så bubbelbadet fick utebli, Men i det stora hela var det ett helt ok hotell att bo på. Frukosten var som förväntat och närheten till tunnelbanan var riktigt skönt när man annars går en hel del i Rom.

Riktigt bra hotell endast ett stenkast ifrån Colleseum. Riktigt bra frukostbuffe med mycket olika alternativ. Hjälpsam personal och väldigt mysigt rum. Kan varmt rekomendera detta hotell!!

Överaskad! Personalen var fantastiskt trevlig, mkt tillmötesgående. Ett glatt leende i frukostmatsalen, bra frukost (för att vara i Rom) Bacon, "scrambled egg", gott pålägg, tre olika sorters bröd, yogurt, flingor, färsk frukt.. och de sedvanliga sötsakerna förstås.. Rent hotell med trevlig personal. Modern inredning och rent. Centralt. Frukosten var väl inte strålande, men helt OK utbud. Synd bara att det inte fanns pool.

Næra Colosseum, men lite långt bort från allt annat. Trøtt service, som gav mærkliga turistrekommendationer.

poor service, shabby hotel

Very close to the subway so you can get any where in Rome. Walking distiance to the Colosseum. The Hotel is on a back street and this is great because you don't here all the noise from the traffic. A little small rooms but easy 4 stars.

good breakfast, good location, but overall kind of grungy looking. especiallly the carpet and walls. the bed and bathroom seemed clean.

The hotel was in overall OK. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable of the area we were close to the Colosseum, but my complain was no Air Condition !!!! at all. Even though the nights were cool not cold I had a bad time sleep with the open window and the noise outside my window and no A/C. During the day is was hot in the room. After being quoted insane rates at other hotels, we read a few reviews and took a chance...it was well worth it. The rooms are tiny but the location, the staff, and the vibe was perfect for exploring Rome. Mirta, the front desk manager, was absolutely fantastic, even getting us a prime table at rooftop restaurant facing the Coliseum...on Holy Thursday! The […] room would get tiny after more than 3-4 days but for a short stint, the Saint Johns is perfect, walking distance from the Colisseum, the Forum, the Metro and a zillion great cafes, churches. As far as location, this hotel was great. right near the metro and within reasonable walking distance to major sites. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. However, they did not have air condition while we were there and opening the window helped but the hotel is on a noisy and very busy street. Most front desk staff are terrific, but one was not very helpful. Room was generally warm. Could use an extra chair. Bathroom sink drained too slowly. Hotel promptly fixed it, but the problem reappeared in a day. Water in the cups not emptied daily and cups never washed during stay! We visited other cities, while still keeping the room. St John hotel is a very nice hotel.metro is about 300m far in a very quiet and safe area and also in a warlking distance from Colloseum and Roman Forum .staff is very polite and helpfull.Rooms are not so big but they are clean.i reccomend this hotel to all of you *only they have to make their internet connection faster

This was a great location. Less than a mile away from city center. Hotel was very clean, staff was very helpful. I will highly recommend it to anyone.

Nicely decorated. Close to Metro and close to old Rome. Front desk staff are very helpful. My only complaint is the bed is a little hard.

We really liked the location of this Hotel, we walked just about everywhere. the staff was very helpful and accommodating. One issue is that the walls are paper thin. We were kept up all night from a man snoring in the room next door. It was horrible. We had the breakfast buffet the first day we arrived, and it was offered at a discount for our stay, […] but we found a walk for about 8 minutes took us to better food and coffee than the hotel had, at better prices as well. About 20-25 min walk to the Coliseum...watch out for dog stuff on the sidewalks...one block from the subway. Hosts very helpful. Room clean, but small. No charge for WIFI. Bed pretty firm, but the bathroom was great, There are some local eateries around the Coliseum. Overall, I would recommend. I'd stay again!

The manager Osama was extremely helpful with our problems. We were there during the snow and had to leave earlier. He did everything he could to get our monies refunded. If it weren't for the snow, the location would have been fine. Food not too good. Price was very good for Europe.

Gr8 place to stay. The air conditioning could have been better

A nice 4 star hotel convenient to the train station and a short walk to the Coloseum and the Forum. Very good breakfast buffet. The only negative was that the room was uncomfortably warm because they said that air conditioning is outlawed in Rome after Oct. 15.

Have been to this hotel for the second time in three months. Chose it again only for its location near a place I needed to attend frequently. Staff - helpful and kind, although it was an ordeal to reach the receptions by phone from the room. Rooms - Extremely small (and I have been to small hotel rooms before). You literally run the risk of falling […] or hitting some furnitur while trying to "walk" in the room. Door won't open and close smoothly. Internet connection: horrible, terrible, no words to describe. I an a business man who usually work from the hotel room. Getting a connection was a real nightmare and when one eventually gets it, it is so slow and of low signal. In a three days stay I had to call the reception 4 times to beg them to relaunch their routers. The problem was even worse in my first visit. Breakfast - poor!!! staff eager clear the tables and end their shift. All in all, bad experience for the price paid. Wouldn't recommend the hotel at all. Läs mer

room was small but very clean. nice modern design. AC did not cool the room, but we were able to open the window and sleeping temperature was good.

Great location - rooms were a little small (as expected), but the hotel suffered from one drawback - the room was hot all the time with no ability to control your temperature in the room.

Rooms were clean and good service nothing to write home about, somewhat away from main atttractions, quiet rooms...

The St. John Hotel was very nice. A clean, well decorated lobby. The staff was nice and helpful. Our room was a little small but it didn't matter to us much. Nice hotel not too far from the Coliseum. The shower doors are flimsy, but otherwise the room is nice. Surrounding neighborhood is ok.

Better than we expected, although this hotel is not within the "cheap" range of hotels in Rome. Location was fantastic, literally 1 minute walk to the Metro station (Manzoni on the A Line). Very clean and elegant lobby and rooms. Bathroom was very fancy and spacious. The room is obviously small compared to US standards, but it was pretty decent size […] for EU standards. Service was great, front desk was very polite and spoke perfect english, plus they always had solutions and ideas for our needs (airport and city transport, supermarket, etc). Room service was fantastic and very personal; really 1st class service. Close to a subway stop and the Colosseum. Not a lot of restaurants in close proximity. Surrounding neighbourhood was very quiet. Great looking courtyard if children need to let off some steam. Room was very comfortable and spacious.

The internet does not work!!!!!!!!!!!! They lie to get you in the door and then when you nicely confront them about it they are very rude about it. Room was clean but very loud. Location is great but pretty much all hotels in Europe cities are located near a subway station which will get you anywhere fast. I travel all the time and everywhere in Europe, and would recommend this great hotel to anyone. Five minutes from the Manzoni subway station, 10 minutes from the Colosseum, this hotel is clean, modern, sophisticated with a great breakfast buffet and free internet access. the hotel staff was great, but our biggest issue with this hotel is that the walls are paper thin as we were able to hear EVERY noise in the room next to ours.Suffice it to say if u are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for u. Bed was hard as Italian marble.

this hotel far exceeded our expectations and that of our travel companions. it was clean, modern and surpisingly spacious. the front desk was helpful and spoke english.....better than i speak italian. bathrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. the hotel is a short walk to the coliseum and shopping.

Hotel walking distance from coloseum. Excellent location overall. Come out of hotel turn right walk to end of road look left and you see the coloseum at the very end of the main road. I'm a slow walker it took me 10 minutes. I picked up a open top bus tour for €12 at the coloseum got on and off as I wanted. Hotel staff were really nice and helpful also […] accomodating. I was in Rome for an Italian friends wedding they offered to look after my bags after I checked out until I finished at the wedding. Hotel is comfortable and clean. Room was bit on the small side so cramped with the big bed. My only complaint is the temperature control in room made no difference and it was way too hot in the room.
