Mycket modernt hotell, fina rum. Kanon frukost. Ligger centralt och mycket prisvärt.

Jag har bott flera gånger på Barcelo Malaga, och jag har varit lika nöjd alla gånger. Vackert designhotell med väldigt "ospanskt" tänk även när det gäller praktiska saker som t.ex. tekniska funktioner i rummet. Testa också rutschkanan från plan 1!

Perfekt läge för resa med tåg och buss. Alldeles för mycket störande ljud från korridor och intilliggande rum. Skjutdörren till badrummet väckte sovande. Stängning av skåpdörrar till såväl garderob som minibar och säkerhetsskåp mycket hårda ljud. Fin utsikt mot havet, fin design. Prisvärt.

Det handlar om ett mycket bekvämt hotell även om man inte främst satsat på mysighet utan snarare på modern design, i kvadrat. Många roliga detaljer gör hotellet till en upplevelse. Vad sägs om en rutschbana från första våningen till lobbyn som uppskattas av barn och även många av oss vuxna. Vi stannade här några dagar i samband med en Medelhavskryssning […] med Royal Caribbean och uppskattade närheten till hamnen och lättheten att ta sig till flygplatsen. Hotellet ligger i samma komplex med ett järnvägstation till flygtåget. I samma nya komplex finns även ett praktiskt och ganska stort shoppingcenter. Vi åt inte frukost på hotellet så jag kan inte säga något om restaurangen. Det fanns gratis wifi med bra hastighet. Ett gym med massor av apparater och med utsikt mot torget framför samt ett bastu fanns också. Rummet var mycket rymligt. Vi fick nog ett handikappanpassat rum eftersom badrummet var så stort att en hel familj av rullstolsburna hade kunnat duscha tillsammans där. Personalen var oerhört trevlig och tillmötesgående. Det var inga problem med att få "late checkout" eftersom planet gick sent. Gamla stan var 20 minuters promenad borta. Jag skulle definitivt kunna tänka mig att stanna igen på hotellet. Läs mer

Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. Close to everything we needed. Staff very helpful.

Didn't realize when I booked this hotel that it was connected to the train station. I was able to hop on the local train to visit Fuengirola and to get to the airport for less than 2 euro.

The hotel is in the train station which also has a shopping centre too. The hotel is about 25 mins from the city centre but we found a bus that took us into the city centre within five minutes (no 4 bus in front of the bus station). The hotel was very modern and the slide is the main attraction in the reception area. I loved the slide, my inner child […] made me go down several times a day. Clean hotel, very good service, nice rooms. But the best is the location, it's in the train station, and minutes walk to the bus station.

Well above standard expected. Great breakfasts Innovative shute connection between1st and ground floor-our grand child adored this and with a bar close to the landing area-what could be better? With a main line railway station,bus terminus and a large shopping mall-all part of the complex What more could one wish for?

The hotel is good for a trip to Malaga.

The hotel is very modern, clean and convenient to public transportation. It's next to the train station and across the street from the bus station. If you are planning on day trips to nearby cities this really helps.The staff was friendly and conversant in English. The room had a huge king bed (very comfortable) and all of the amenities. This hotel was ideally placed at the main railway station. Check-in was efficient, the room was large and well-equipped, breakfast was excellent. The man in the next room who spent all night shouting into his mobile phone was not great. The sound proofing between rooms is very poor and I had about an hour's sleep

the hotel is part of the building that comprises the train station(maria zambrano station) and only a block away from the city bus station so it's the place to go if you are looking for a close access to outbound transportation. free sauna service was pretty enjoyable. all you need to do is to ask to the front 30 mins prior to your usage so that they […] can have the sauna room available just for you. restaurant's quite good too w/ variety of dishes. We had a nice xmas week in Malaga and Barcelo Hotel. Everything was easy to catch: the train to airport, train to Sevilla, bus to Granada, taxi to old town etc. The pesonnel was friendly and we like to especially thank the person in the reception who helped us to find place for dinner on xmas eve. Stayed for 3 nights from 11th december, had such a smooth journey from airport to hotel by train, so easy wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Rooms great, big showers. Bar ultra modern but bit un atmospheric. No one seemed to use it but it's a short walk to malaga centre with loads of restaurants. The hotel is right on the train station and a stones throw from the bus station. Walking.to the city centre took about 15 mins. Getting here from the airporr is very simple, just take the direct train from airport to maria zambarno station and the hotel is right there. The breakfast is good, bit i guess plenty of options must be availabe on the station […] area, except that if u want an early breakfast better book ot at the hotel as nothing really opens till 8.30 a. Great customer service, front desk personnel very helpful. Love the slide in reception! Perfect if you are visiting by train as the station is right next door.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Barcelo after a long trek through Spain and other parts. Arrived very early with complicated requests (traveling with others) and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The hotel was ideal for our one night stopover as we arrived quite late in Malaga. We used the train to connect from the airport to the city centre. The hotel can be accessed directly from the Maria Zambrano station, and meant we were also very close to the bus station to travel on the next morning. We stayed at this hotel for one night in August during our honeymoon. It was an amazing hotel, especially the slide from the second floor to the lobby! We were upgraded to a suite which was very nice, spacious and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly - we arrived early and our room was ready for us anyway. The facilities were good (had […] a decent fitness centre). Our only complaint was that it was a little far from the main attractions, but we were still able to walk everywhere. The hotel was bright airy and clean. The only downside was from an unhelpful gentleman receptionist.

This is a great hotel for connecting with buses and trains. It's very modern. The air conditioned room was great after 100 F degree weather, but actually was a bit cold and we needed extra blankets! Easy to walk to points of interest and shopping.

The front desk employed are, very nice, they help all the time, they go out the way to help. This is a super modern Hotel and right on the train station (RENFE)

This hotel is very convienent. it is accessible from the train station. However, one of the rooms we got had very strong cigarette smell though it is a non smoking room. Informed hotel staff but nothing was done. other than that, it was fine.

This hotel is next to the train station, bus service and taxi service. Very modern and clean. Reasonable in price and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping areas

The railroad station and a large mall in the same building as the hotel was a real convenience to us,

The hotel is convenient for travellers wanting a central location in Malaga with easy access to thecruise terminals, train and/or air connections. Lobby reception is quite small and crowded with cruise tour groups but the staff did their best to accommodate all, even opening another room for luggage storage. Not sure they were prepared for the influx. […] We were at first confused with part of the large tour group but when the front desk discovered we were not a part of the group they gave us full . We stayed at the Barcelo due to previous stays at other Barcelo hotels in other locations and the convenience. Room was great though a bit noisy as it faced the main entrance and roadway. Staff was gracious and helpful. Dining and lounge ammenities could use some work but we were there to rest before heading the the airport at 4am. Kudos to the front desk being available at that time of the morning and being pleasant and helpful in securing a taxi. We will continue to stay at the Barcelo hotels. Läs mer

Ideal for the bus and train stations and easy to get to the airport . Clean, comfortable room but air conditioning can be erratic. 15 minute walk to the town centre which suited us

The hotel was in a good location being near to the railway station which gave good access to the airport and major Spanish cities.The reception and rooms were very good.Only downside was that the air conditioning was not working or if, as the hotel say it was, then it was non effective. The room temperature was very high in the 80's so that it was difficult […] to sleep and only a small window for ventilation.Outside could be heard noise from the seagulls as they perched on a large flat roof. I chose and booked it on the internet, keeping my fingers crossed as I always do that it would be o.k. It was across the road from the Coach station and next door to the Raiway Station (the back entrance was literally through the railway station) which had some intersting shops. For us this was such a bonus as we travelled back to Malaga by coach from […] Granada, and our trip to the airport for our morning flight was easy with trains every 30 mins. No extra taxi fares needed. We only had a day in Malaga but the bus to the attractions we wanted to visit ( Cathedral, Picasso museum, castle etc) was from outside the hotel and cost 1 euro each way. The hotel itself was so so moden, so so clean and the bathroom and 7 jet shower was something else. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but did eat in the dining room in the evening. This cost 25-30 euros each (with wine) I would say that one course would be sufficient to order (for me, not for the younger members of our group) as they supplied an aperitif of a small dish of soup and a large prawn on a bed of rocket with a fab dressing. The bread rolls just kept being offered and there was a selection of about 6 and came with olve oil dips. there was a free liquer offered to finish the meal. The ambience and the fab waiter service made the meal special and memorable. Although there was not a vegetarian option for the veggie in our group, they suggested dishes that they could and would prepare. We chose this hotel because it is adjacent to the train station and a shopping mall. (Actually they are all connected.) We flew into Malaga airport. The airport train station is a short walk across the street (about one block) from the terminal doors. It is about a 10 minute train ride to the hotel. It couldn't be more convenient!! Just walk out of […] the train station and into the hotel. The decorating style of the hotel is art nouveau. The lobby is small, but functional. The room was bright and airy. We especially loved the bathroom and the very large shower! The lighted clothes rod in the closet was also novel. The bus station is about two blocks away (through the train station) and it is easy to do a day trip to Gibraltar from here. The cruise port is a short taxi ride away. cool place, helpful and friendly staff with good english. V clean, quiet and comfortable bedrooms. great shower with different settings. Use of sauna and gym. Would have loved a kettle in the room and couple of english channels on the tv or radio. Don't worry I wasn't in much- really enjoyed Malaga city as well.
