Vi stannade på detta flygplatshotell en dag istället för att stressa ned till kusten redan på ankomstdagen. Hotellet är rent och snyggt. Servicen oklandring men möjligtvis något opersonlig och man var oväntat dåliga på engelska i receptionen. Vilket förvisso är ganska vanligt i Thailand. Hotellet är ju inklämt mellan motorvägarna till och från flygplatsen så omgivningen var väl inte så trevlig. Poolen var dock fin och ren så där stannade vi för att vila upp oss. Vi skulle gärna bo här igen om flygtiderna var de samma nästa gång.

Downtown hänvisar till de snofsiga nöjes- och shoppingkomplexen som strålar ut från Siam Square i distriktet Pathumwan. Torget erbjuder allt från designerbutiker till kaféer, banker och bokhandlar, och ligger på andra sidan andra shoppingcentra som Siam Discovery, Siam Center och Paragon. Mycket trevligt hotell med centralt läge i BKK. Bokade ett hörnrum som var både stort och ny renoverat. Bra frukost med det mesta du kan önska dig. "Ingen höjdare"
Rummen var mörka, fuktiga och luktade illa. Det gick inte att få byta rum utan i stället fick skickade receptionen upp en kille med en sprayflaska med parfym (!). Det var så fuktigt i rummet att våra kläder och saker blev helt blöta under natten. Poolområdet var alldeles för litet. Folk låg på handdukar på marken för att det saknades solstolar. Båda […] dagarna vi var där var poolområdet avstängt för privata sällskap från klockan 15:00. Området är jättebra med många fina hotell, ta något annat. Vad som helst är bättre. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, and the second time I am pleased with it. It is very clean. The pool is very nice away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Hotel was nice and clean, location was good and bonus in house tv was free. Breakfast was great with real coffee from a cafe and staff were helpful and friendly. Excellent, up to standards of Marriott, even got a drink as we checked in, staff were friendly, most importantly the hotel is very clean and comfortable, food was good both breakfast and supper. "Attentiveness to the Guest's complained."
The hotel was excellent and I would definitely come back if the staff and the manager, Mr. Birdy is more open to hearing the guests complaints. My room was not cleaned till 3 in the afternoon, and that too only after I complained very strongly, did the housekeeping send somebody to clean it. When I tried to complain to the manager, Mr. Birdy, he tried […] t pin the entire blame on me accusing me of not hanging the " CLEAN MY ROOM " sign, which I had obviously done and also even if I didn't put it up, the housekeeping department is suppose to clean the room. It was only when I sternly told off Mr. Birdy, that he apologised to me and took the full blame on his dept. Also recommended a turn down service in the evening. "Bangkok Visit"
The Hotel is conveniently located and, like other reviews, the local taxi/Tuk Tuk drivers were not always familiar with its location and sometimes surprised to see where it was actually located off of the main street. That added to my feeling of security knowing that an "American" hotel location was not well known. The hotel was very nice and the staff, […] as I have indicated in my review below, were very attentive in every detail during our stay and met all of our needs and requests with efficiency and enthusiasm. That brings me to why I rayed the hotel as I did. The room we had was a deluxe room which meant the concierge level in most other hotels. Unfortunately the room was not clean and could use a cleaning from top to bottom. While the shower stall was acceptable the remainder of the room was dusty, with "dust bunnies" everywhere. I did mention it to the housekeeping staff however nothing was done. We are not "neat freaks" and can tolerate inconveniences, etc, while traveling. This was a noticeable lack of attention to detail and, for the money spent, something like this should not be overlooked especially when a guest brings it to the staff's attention while there for 5 days. All in all we would still recommend this hotel for its convenient location, overall appearance and its well trained and responsive staff and the amenities offered. "A lovely way to start our holiday"
A superb start to our holdiay, the services we used were excellent, stafff very efficient, friendly and happy to help and advise us. Thought hotel was going to be a little out of the main area, however we appreciated to quieter setting here and we could walk to Siam Square and the Skytrain easily. Would recommend this hotel and would definately book […] this hotel should I return to Bangkok. My wife and I stayed here with our 7 year old son and were very impressed. It's a beautiful new hotel, in a great location and everyone on the staff was wonderfully gracious and helpful. The only minuses are a persistent mildew odor in the room, although this seemed to go away once we got the AC going, and the AC temperature seemed to fluctuate a lot.
