The room could have been cleaner. The air conditioner DID NOT WORK!!! Electrical outlet wasn't conveniently located. There was a nasty container under the bed which appeared to have mice droppings in it that I found while looking for an outlet. Had problems obtaining a parking pass after mine blew out of the window. Will not stay there again.

We had a great time! Hotel was in a great location. Playground for the kids was right there on the beach. The rooms were very spacious but a little outdated. They are doing improvements. A room right on the beach, a balcony with chairs, brand new kitchenettes, new bathrooms, granite countertops, freshly painted walls, at the end of the boardwalk, very clean, friendly staff !! What's not to like !!

The personnel was very friendly and open to answer any question and help in any way. The room was clean. I used to work at a hotel, so I know what to look for. Great location, clean room, cheerful and courteous housekeeping staff. Close to tourist attractions. Restaurants are a little pricey but reasonable eateries are within driving distance. Overall ... Would recommend you check it out.

I think this was a wonderful hotel to stay in, and I will definitely stay here again! It was very romantic to have a very nice jacuzzi on the beach, and the cost of the room was VERY reasonable. Besides not being able to control the heat/AC in the room, in was a nice time. We stayed in the hot tub room. Huge bed!!! Right on the quiet end of the beach was nice.

Another year at the Shamrock Marathon and this hotel was perfect!!! An efficiency with Excellent View of the rough ocean. Sat in front of the giant window, with my feet up for hours. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, I couldn't ask for more. Will be there again next year.

I had never booked online so I was nervous about what the room would be like. I was so happy and impressed with my room. The view of the ocean is great, the room was clean and huge, and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend this room to anyone.

The hotel gave us the wrong room an wanted 2 charge us 150 more dollars for the correct room. I broke out in hives bc the room was not clean. It was not a very nice hotel we left the same day we checked in. Will not be returning.

I went against my better judgement, booking this room after reading the below average reviews. But the view from the second floor was great, room clean (could use updating) the heart shaped Jacuzzi was nice but the jets were week. For the price versus some of the higher end places, it was very decent.

The title is one of the only good things I can say. The in room hot tubs are nice also. But make sure you have a Drivers Licenses when check in they won't let you check in with a military ID which is Odd in a Military town. This won't be a returning customer

Last minute change of hotels to start off spring break with a few friends. Was pleasantly surprised at how nice our room was. Only things that I didn't really like was how small the bathroom was and it was too far from the clubs/bars. Staff was great. Beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. Definitely recommend.

You have the beautiful Atlantic Ocean with a clear view of the amazing VB boardwalk on one side, & the inlet on the other!!!! The hotel is at the end of the boardwalk so you don't have to be as bothered with tourists and crouds as the other parts. Amazing beach and sunrise view!!!!! A+++ But the hotel and staff needs LOTS OF WORK!! The staff wasn't […] helpful or friendly in the least. As a local I know it's WAY off season here, so they have no excuses. The towel and tolite paper holders looked like they were affixed to the wall by a child. Totally uneven! We were most impressed with this facility, given such a reasonable rate. The first thing I noticed when entering my room was how large the room was. Rarely do you find an oceanfront hotel room with that much sq ft. Then I noticed the kitchenette has been completely renovated to also include marble countertops. The bathroom has the same upgrade. The bedding was in good shape and very comfortable. I was very please with my stay. The view overlooking the ocean was exceptional. Enjoyed having my morning coffee on the balcony and watching everyone enjoying the beach. A different Christmas, being from Iowa and use to snow. Room was clean and relaxing. Will definetly recommend to friends and will stay again when in area.

My husband and I celebrated our 20 yr anniversary. This was the perfect spot!! Loved the Jacuzzi tub, best feature. Looking forward to doing it again soon!!!

The temperature of the guest rooms is not controllable via a simple thermostat. Hotel maint. selects heat or A/C by the calendar. So, if there is an autumn heat wave, or spring freeze, the hotel guests suffer accordingly. In addition, the only way for guests to control the room temperature is via the on/off switch - there is no thermostat. If the room […] gets too hot/cold during the night, you're expected to get out of bed to turn the system on or off until the temp. goes too far the other way. I reviewed reviews of this hotel prior to arriving, and my perspective followed suit of others. The hotel is a bit older but well maintained. Spacious rooms can handle a rollaway if families need one. Kitchenettes were in good working order. We stayed during the first weekend of December and enjoyed off season rates. CHEAP!!! Less than freeway flophouses […] on our roadtrip from Minnesota. We attended the deactivation ceremony for the Enterprise in Norfolk, and the location was a great peaceful contrast from the Navy base. No flash here, but good quality for the money. We enjoyed watching the dolphins from our balcony, as well as the beautiful moonrise! Tougas on 24th between Atlantic and Pacific had excellent food, as did the sister breakfast spot next door. The room was comfortable. On Thanksgiving Day, I mentioned our room was cold. The staff was wonderful, It was fixed immediately.

Everything was great, however I smoke, and once i found out this was a smoke-free facility i was disappointed. I was told I would have to come all the way down from the 5th floor everytime i wanted to smoke, told to not even smoke on the balcony/patio.....or there will be a $250.00 charge....WOW, that needs to be changed, but the room was wonderful […] .... We spent 10 days at VB although the weather was not so nice the hotel was perfect! The staff was very helpful and respectful! we did alot of shopping and sight seeing during the day it was so nice to come back to the comfort of our room! The rooms were nice and warm and the showers were nice and hot. One night we got the Hot tub room perfect over looked […] the beach and the tub was spotless huge plus for me! Stayed for two nights. Awesome location and all are beach facing rooms. Its pretty much on the boardwalk :-) Staff were kind and helping. Definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Loved the location at Rudee's Inlet to watch the boats come and go as well as surfers. Very clean well kept traditional ocean inn. At the end of the board walk thus less traffic but I'm sure in the summer with public parking next door the beach become a lively and fun place. It was very quite, very nice room. The location was great, big windows overlooking the ocean, make the room very bright. The bathroom was re-novated but the plumbing seemed to be a bit old.
