Tv had static on every channel

hotel rating not worth the price of the room , nice people but not able to use internet without a charge. Really should be upgraded in room with better TV and Bed comfort.

Every time I visit the Phoenix area, I will Stay here!! Couldn't ask for friendlier,or more helpful staff. The hotel is beautiful, the food scrumptous. The area fantastic, all within walking distance, and a short drive to stores. I can't say enough good about this place!

This was a nice hotel experience. For the most part, save one mid-level employee interaction, the service was great. I thought it was a bit strange that they would charge so much for one day of wifi considering the rate you're paying for the room.

this is an excellent hotel located to shopes restruants the university of phoenix stadium. this was so clean and price was good for a quality hotel

It was a of the best experiences...I would definitely stay there again.

Great location, friendly staff nice amenities and a stones throw away from the football stadium! Plenty of place to eat and entertain at West Gate Plaza ajacent to hotel so you don't have to drive anywhere during your stay! I can't wait to return for a football game

Very nice for going to the games!

Hotel in the backyard of the University of Phoenix Stadium. If you are from out of town and going to the game; this IS the place to stay. Also withjin walking distance is numerous sports bars (and Jimmy Buffetts Margharitaville). Quiet, clean and staff are most helpful.

We only stayed one night, but the room was huge and had 1and a half bathrooms, 2 tvs, living area, kitchen area, beautiful view, comfortable beds. The bathroom had tub and shower, double sinks. The pool was great and the food the rest/bar was really really good. My only complaint was the air freshener was overpowering in the lobby. That really bothered […] me and the guy at the bar said other people had mentioned it. There are studies showing all those chemicals are not good to breathe and the air was thick with it. Great Location. Hotel exceeded my expectations. Nice Pool and workout facility. Hotel is loud. Doors are heavy and the weekend is full of "westgate partyers".

What amazed me was nothing was free. Wi-Fi was fee based. There were no channels on the television that were not pay-per view. The Evian water next to the coffee maker was 100% more than a convienience store. I,m just a regular guy, and will not choose this hotel again.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is going to Spring Training at any of the Glendale parks but also wants to do something after spending a day in the sun. Because it is right in Westgate (a fun little area with shopping and restaurants) it was the perfect place to come back, get changed and head out for cocktails and a bite to eat. It's just […] yards from Jobing.com stadium (home of the Coyotes) and U of Phoenix stadium (home of the Cards) and about 4 miles from Camelback Ranch (spring home of the CWS and LA Dodgers). As a business traveler it was nice to not have to drive anyway for dinner or entertainment but, you do have to pay for parking and for internet. Internet was connection pretty much sucked so that was annoying. Parking (with in and out) was reasonably priced especially given the prime location. Läs mer

The Rennaisance in Glendale Arizona is awesome! Beautiful hotel that is close to everything, especially if you are a Dodger fan. Minutes away from Camelback Ranch. There are many places to eat within walking distance. The hotel is very luxurious and very affordable. I would not stay anywhere else in Glendale!

Great Hotel, friendly staff, close to great entertainment

The experience at this hotel was very nice and enjoyed our stay there. Wish we could of enjoyed more of the hotel and spa. We has suite with a Jacuzzi.

Hotel was very clean. Front desk was understaffed when I checked in, but the wait was not too bad. I would say everything was very good except the maid . The maid took towels that were hung up (meaning we didn't need fresh ones), and no matter how many times we said there were 4 of us in the room and we need 4 towels she would only leave 3 towels. Also, […] one morning she stayed and knocked on the door for about 10 minutes early in the morning and would not leave, even though the door was locked. She forced me to get up and tell her to go away, which woke the rest of the family. Had we not been up at 3:00am for the drive the day before it would not have mattered. I have never seen a maid continually knock like that. She actually made me open the door as telling her through the door was not enough (it was a thick door.) Would I stay there again...I just need to remember to put the do not disturb sign out and make sure to have an extra towel! The only other issues I ran into was a broken soap holder in the shower. Really, they know it is broken, fix it. The internet is not free, you must pay for it. Most hotels I stay at have free internet, they need to get with it. Läs mer

Place was large, nicely decorated, very clean. Not at all pretentious, which we appreciated. Room had balcony with great view of pool. Only down side to this location is nearby Westgate. Don't plan on being able to eat at any of the resturants without a LONG wait. Hotel resturant was good but understaffed. Our stay at the Renaissance couldn't have been better. We were there for business and was an excellent location to everything we needed or wanted to do. Very comfortable hotel with a very nice staff. Highly recommend.

What a great place to stay and play just for a short getaway. Hotel is beautiful, rooms comfortable and proximity to Westgate restaurants and bars a real plus. Pool is just ok. Spa experience very relaxing-has its own private outside pool/spa and cabanas.

I chose this location since the price was good, the location seemed right, and the other reviews were rave, and I was not disappointed. Very friendly staff, the room was super clean, the hotel is gorgeous, and it's the perfect spot to walk to shopping, food, or the Jobing.com arena. You won't get the "resort" fee that other hotels charge, although you […] do have to pay for parking. It's a daily fee, and you can choose between self parking or valet, with valet actually being cheaper. There is a lot across the street where we parked during the day between outings, although it's for the arena and is a posted tow zone. But we saw cars there all day, so we suspect it's overnight towing. All in all, a very great stay, I'll definitely be going here again next time I need to stay in the Phoenix area. Läs mer

Beautiful location.... Excellent service... Near concert I attended with family... Left my memory card and the valet was able to get it to me in time... I would definitely stay here again... Family loved it

A/c wall unit did not work well at all-- in az i think the a/c should work... lines for everything...1 vallet who doubles as the bell hop...hope you like to carry your own bags...dont use the town car service what a joke..counter staff was good. bar was ok. for a friday and saturday night rite next to stadium i was surprised no food service after 11pm. […] oh just go across the street to the bars and restaurants... yeah if you like to wait 45 minutes at least to even get in..... Quiet kept secret in the west valley,great accomidations and amenities . Location is perfect with westgate entertainment district within a short walk. Perfect also for that hockey or football getaway, you couldn't get any closer to the action Overall great value for your dollar.

The Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel is located right next to the Univ. of Phoenix stadium and Jobing.com arena, as well as a dozen restaurants and a big AMC movie theater. The rooms are nice and clean, and ours on the 9th floor even had a big balcony where I could sit and take in the sunset. The big outdoor pool is really kid friendly. The only […] thing a bit goofy about this property is the parking situation. Rooms and lobby are beautiful, hotel is close to entertainment venues and plenty of restaurants in the area. Westgate is right out the front door. Only downside is the restaurant. The breakfast was average and wait staff seemed overwhelmed. This is a fun place to people watch during football season. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It is right next to the Jobing.com areana. So when we go to concerts we can stay in the area and have a great time then walk right to our room. I was in town to work an Arizona Cardinals game and the hotel is next door to the stadium. IT was very clean and comfortable. Much more than you would expect next to a stadium. I was very impressed and would go to many more Cardinal games because of this.

We had a great time at the hotel, it was literally a parking lot away from the Arena where we saw INCUBUS for my birthday! I was very satisfied and cant wait for the next VISIT!

we loved this hotel. we went to the arizona cardinal game and the hotel is walking distance to the stadium plus the surroundings you have a lot to do. we totally recommend this hotel to anyone.
