Filthy room, wrong bed (should have been two doubles) was one king. Unpleasant carpet and a crazy solution for locking the balcony door. (use a stick to block the door!!).

Ett fint hotell nära till stranden. Vill man bo lite avsides i det lugnare området så är detta rätt ställe.

Letade efter ett hotell som låg hyfsatnära Miami Beach och tyckte att dettta kunde passa.Och det gjorde det verkligen.Jättefint rum indelat i två rum.Kylskåp,diskbänk,matbord och två tv apparater samt gratis Internet samt Wifi gjorde att detta hotell verkligen passade oss.Det enda som finns att klaga på var frukosten.Papptallrikar och dåligt utbud var […] det som var fel.Läget direkt på stranden. fräsch pool samt bra restauranger runt omkring.Vill man bo nära Ocean Drive så är det för långt för att gå men 10 minuter med bil/taxi. This hotel room was above all we had expected and very close to the beach. There’s a rather big supermarket just around the corner. But it’s a little bit off from city and it took an hour by bus to get to Miami South beach. But with a car it’s no problem at all. Internet connection pretty bad. Staff very helpful.

Bra strandläge, men usel standard på rummet. Internet fungerade inte. Taket läckte vatten från aircondition. Ganska otrygg känsla då området ofta hade polisnärvaro.

was ok, when we went into the room it was not cleaned 100%. floor was not vacumed and papers and trash where on the floor. We called and they sent someone up right away to clean. Overall it was a good stay, thanks.

Run down, most electrical outlets wouldn't even hold plug. Bed was good enough, but everything else needed updating. Location was nice, restaurant's only one block away.

this hotel was a perfect experience. we loved being right on the beach and having so many stores and shops close by. the room was spacious and having a full kitchen with dishes helped budget our vacation. we will be using this hotel again in the near future.

We booked at the last minute and were not disappointed. Clean, simple hotel with free car parking! Roooms are huge with part or full kitchen. Ours had been refurbished - so ask for one that has been. Room was big and super clean, full size fridge and stove with cupboards too. Beds were comfy, shower clean and full walk in closet with hangables on both sides. The safe was too small to fit our laptops tho. We paid for ocean view and glad we did because some regular rooms (not poolside view rooms) faced parking lot. The hotel is old and could use updating but the location on the beach and hte free parking are convenient. It is a little pricey, considering hte age of the hotel but you are paying for the beachfront location. Not my favorite hotel but satisfactory.

Hotel was great location - management excellent at providing places to eat and visit, especially if you are new to the area. Great kitchen facilities if you preferred to make some of your own meals. Publix couple of blocks away to purchase food items. Close to excellent malls for shopping some very high end. We really enjoyed staying at Best Western Oceanfront in Surfside. The open spaces and greenery between units was well maintained and allowed all units a view of the ocean. Kitchen was ancient and pipes not covered was surprising, but overall a lovely place to stay.

The room dripped with dewy humidity even with the AC on high making you damp but shivery and I was barely able to sleep even with a sleeping pill. It was awful. We switched our room but was no better. Manager said hotel from 1920s and this was the result. The carpet so filthy that your feet turn black. This hotel is on the beach and I did get a big room with an ocean view. The hotel is very old and out dated; I was OK with that, but not having a working elevator was hard on my back and many of the people older than I were really struggling to get up and down the three flights. The elevator was broken early Friday when I got there and it was still […] not working when I left. I had the impression is had not be working for awhile. The room was big with a full kitchen like promised and there was a walk in closet. There was free WiFi (750k), coffee, breakfast, ironing board and a safe. The rooms are very noisy because they have windows from the 1950’s that let all the sound in. The hotel is a 20-30 minute drive to any of the major tourist places, so it was not a great hotel for site seeing. Most people were there to spend time on the beach and it is OK for that. the best western on the Miami Beach shoreline is on the ocean side of the street and seems to be a vacation spot for the local Floridians. The rooms were full of families and children from the city and suburbs. this seems to be were locals go to spend the weekend. breakfast was pretty bad but for the price it was one of the cheepest places to stay on […] the beach. ok well there was a lady who dared to tell me rude things such as i was in the room nd they were cleaning nd then when i came out she told me that if i did number 1 or 2 in there nd she is not supposd to know wat i do in the bathroom so i tod her then she was ike " oh i am not going in there " nd that is rude she is the one that is supposed to be cleaning […] nd that her job so i did not like her aditude against me nd i am a paying costumer so i am the one who waste money for her to get that so maybe next time if there ven is one she better act calmer then how she was >:( Läs mer

Good deal for the price and free parking, the hotel is located on the beach. It is a typical old best western hotel with small kitchen, painted over a million times, but in general good shape, just a little cramped in the bathroom and furnishings are old. basic breakfast, no real ocean view, local Surfside town has some good restaurants, within walking […] distance. Location great, pools and quiet beach and walking path terrific, great free breakfast, large suites, quiet. Only heard neighbors once in five days. Staff friendly. No elevator to second floor suites so was hard with baby carriage. Main problem: bad any infestation. My baby got bitten three times and one of my bites got infected and I had to go to the […] doctor, to an urgent care center, when I returned. We only stayed for one night, bur got a lot of space. Two rooms. one double bed and one sleeping sofa, two bathrooms - it was great. Hotel is practically on the beach and that is nice because the pool was very crowded.

We had a fabulous time with family on our stay. The rooms were clean, very spacious, and the air conditioning was quoted by my husband as being "the best air conditioner I've ever felt at a hotel." The hotel is right on the beach, and they even provided 2 beach chairs for us. The kitchen was also nice and spacious, as was the walk in closet. We enjoyed […] a day on the beach followed by some relaxation in the pool and a night on the town, it was truly a great time. We stayed two nights this best western oceanfront was close to beach and shopping center. The room which was a suite came with full kitchen very spacious, neat and clean. A+++ great experience.

We stayed for one night after a cruise. It's older, but maintained and clean. The front desk person and lady over cleaning are a riot and long term employees who let us check in early and went out of their way to take care of us. From the moment I checked-in until the moment I left, everyone and everything was nice. The hotel manager was very hospitable and allowed me to check-in two hours early. Plus, he was able to get me into a room with a king-size bed, which was much better for me than having two double beds. From the living room to the kitchen to the bedroom, there was plenty of room to move around. The bathroom was small, but serviceable. The other great thing was that the hotel was near lots of shops and restaurants. Publix supermarket was within walking distance as were nice restaurants like Finnegan's, Sushi Republic, and Miami Pizza & Grill. The Bal Harbour shops were nearby as well for those interested in fashion and jewelry. The housemaids came by each day to make sure the bed was made and fresh towels were brought. The back of the hotel leads right to the beach at Surfside or you can hang out at the pool. I was even able to park the car without added expenses. Decent Hotel, Very good location and in fact one of few hotels with full kitchen. I saw very good reviews and booked it, however, please be aware that this hotel draw very cheap crowd - may be I am exception but we had very bad experience with hotel management. We had horrible neighbor who was absolutely waste couple and abusive, rather killing our […] mood, we complained to hotel management, and they did nothing - neither they care to update back, they just said they will talk to that guy and fix the matter. So if you are with family and kids, irrespective of all goods, if you run into similar situation it will totally spoil the trip. If this incident would not have happened or hotel management cared to handle it properly I would have rated this average 4. Because of poor handling of case I would rate it one star and as this incident itself spoiled our mood and stay at miami. Good Luck. Läs mer
