Juniorsvit på fjärde våningen med utsikt över havet. Stort rymligt rum, dock märklig planlösning där kylskår och ingång till badrum trängts samman. Härliga pooler där vi var enda badarna. Minus för matos i loftgång på väg till/från rummet. Plus för casino på bottenplan.

Hotellet är klockrent. Snygg design, trevlig personal och bra mat. Ligger fint vid havet och restaurangen Perla är fantastiskt bra, men dyr. Allt på hotellet är dyrt. Undvik deras egna affär och gå 100 meter bort så hittar ni en bra supermarket. Bi hade rum med utsikt över stan, vilket var mycket bra. Bra utrustat kök och rejäl kyl och frys. Utanför […] hotellet finns inget annat att se. Trista restauranger, så det är hotellets egna som gäller eller att fixa något själv. our stay was fantastic! an absolutely perfect resort & the staff was very accommodating- we had a late flight home and they were able to move our checkout to a later time without any problem.... the concierge Frankie was extremely helpful our entire stay... definitely suggest staying here to everyone and we cant wait to return!

This is an excellent hotel and overall I had a positive experience. I was in a room with city view: the streets gets very noisy until pretty late during the weekend and would avoid this room if you plan to go to sleep early and don't have much tolerance for noise. Other than that, great hotel that I would visit again and again.

this place is gorgeous in and out. And the beach is amazing. The resort and it's staff are just a pleasure. The only thing that may bother people is that the rooms racing the pool and the street are quite noisy especially late into the night. Pay the extra to get a ocean view room to avoid this. This is a great central San Juan location, but may not be right for a family vacation. There is good night life in this area and the noise makes it difficult for anyone that wants to get to sleep before 1am. We typically stay at 4-5 star hotels. This was more like a low end 3 star compared to US hotels in terms of cleanliness and quality.

Easy cab ride from airport, the entire staff from A - Z were SO friendly and helpful. La Concha is a fun spot. 4 pools, beautiful coved beach. I recommend getting an ocean view room. Some of the rooms have an entire glass wall which opens so we had a fabulous breeze and sounds of the ocean all day and night. We were not interested in the casino although […] it looked like a happening spot at night. If I had any complaints, I'd say they didn't do a goodt job of making sure the pool bathrooms were stocked adequately with toilet paper and paper towels. They got quite dirty but I'm sure it was due to the very crowded conditions because of Spring Break but that did get a little annoying. Also, just know that Puerto Rican's go at a little slower pace so food can take a bit longer, getting the bill takes a while, etc. But we would definately go back because the people were so nice and we liked the hotel. My wife and I were here for our honeymoon a little over 40 years ago. We enjoyed the hotel then but it's much better now. The hotel had been renovated. This trip we had a jr, suite for two nights and it was very comfortable and the ocean view from the room was fantastic. Would go back again.

My boyfriend booked this resort for a romantic getaway in early February and we loved everything about the hotel except the beach isn't private as advertised. That really irritated me to no end....... There were locals and surfers everywhere using the hotels chairs and towels. Concierge often had a long wait. Perla was delish and so was the breakfast […] buffet. Rooms were cleaned daily and I felt comfortable walking in my room in barefeet. Loungers were easy to get in the pool area and drink/food service was always walking the pool perimeter. I did wait for 7 minutes one night in the lobby bar for a drinks hen it wasn't really busy. The bartenders walked right past me repeatedly. We had a beautiful view from suite 704. The only thing wrong with our room was the door. It slammed every single time we went in or out. There was a wind suction thing going on. The night before we left, house keeping grabbed ou towels and my new designer bathing suit was picked up with them. The hotel took my info and called me 24 hours later to say they had it and made me pay $27 to send it to me. I really felt it should have been paid by them since they grabbed it. It was everything that was described. I had asked for a ocean view (for a price) and I got an amazing view. Rooms are very large, almost like a suite. I think bathrooms needs updating, it showed its age. I think it is the best to place to stay if you want to be on the beach in San Juan.

This is our second time staying here, I cannot get over the friendliest staff that my wife and I encounterd both times thast we have been there. Two years ago we stayed 10 days and our last stay ended Feb.7 we stayed 9 days. We are presently looking at our calendars for a stay ther next year.

We had 3 rooms reserved for our family group, and the front desk staff was nice enough to let us into one of the rooms early, so we could change into swimsuits and enjoy the day by the pools & on the beach. Everything was almost perfect for me and my 25 year old daughter at this resort! The staff were attentive and friendly, the public spaces were clean, fresh and beautifully decorated, our suite (an unexpected perk) was lovely and extremely spacious with a balcony and great view (7th floor....lower floors may have experienced blockage from neighboring […] buildings) and the beach was delightful with attendants for beach furniture, food and drinks. The only complaint is regarding the noisy blower on the air conditioning unit that would cause us to constantly adjust the TV volume and wake us up during the night. Note that the bus to Old San Juan stops right in front of the hotel. We took it for 75 cents each way...saving $17.00 each way for cab fees! It was an easy trip; and, we got to speak to a few locals as well as other tourists. Another note...when walking the neighborhood, we were surprised that all upscale couture shops and parks lined the avenue in one direction while seedy bars and homeless people lined the other. However, police presence is a constant and we never felt threatened. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning. Läs mer

This hotel was great--modern design, great location, beautiful pool and beach access. I would return here. I was in a suite, so I had a living room, bathroom (which was fab), king bedroom, and balcony. Went running in town, but workout facilities looked great--you ran overlooking the ocean! Definitely would pick this location again!

Beautiful hotel right on the beach. Dinner at Perla was outstanding! Lots of outdoor seating for reading, drinks, food. Staff was great. Beautiful gym. Loved LaConcha. I had the ocean view junior suite...really beautiful! Water was rough, might be too much for young children but other swimming sites close by that have calmer waters.

I was here for the last 3 days of my honeymoon after arriving in San Jan at the end of a cruise. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after the cruise and spend quality time with my husband. La Concha is nice hotel in an otherwise so so location. It is not a "resort" like Couples or Sandals or Beaches or any of the large hotel resorts you see in Mexico. Its an urban style hotel on the beach with a casino. The concierge was terrible and I had voucher for golf or an outing from Expedia and the concierge could not get anyone to honor it. If […] you want to go to a bad Miami immitation then go to Condado. The hotels are like Atlantic City hotels. Big in size but not truly get aways. They sit so close to what is called a beach that they block out the sun - litterally. Outside of the hotel there is a bunch of chain restaurants and super low level bars - for the 18 to 20 something crowd. If you want white sand and nice beach do not go here. If you want to gamble and drink $12 drinks with 1 oz of liquor and $18 hambergers then go here. You best bet is to stay in Old San Juan which is a beautiful European style city for a day or two and eat at Marmalade then go to Vieques or Culebra for the balance of your stay. Läs mer

First of all it's a great hotel in puerto rico, with great ocean view. It's pretty old - build in 1958, and renovated recently, but you can see paint is getting off the walls in some places. The first room we got was visibly old with half working wardrobe door. We asked to change the room, and the second one was just fine (we expected more for this […] price). Personal is very pleasant. room cleaning was good too, except they took our bathrobes and returned it back 5 days later, even I asked them several times to do that. The main disapointment was price for food - breakfast buffet is 25$ p.p. and its pretty poor. The other restaraunts in the hotel are expensive too, and just fine food. The beach is not so big, but you can find a sunbed pretty easy and ask for umbrella and towell. The waves are always big there, someone like it someone don't, but its great to hear them beeing in the room. We didn't try new building with suites, they must be better, but still overpriced. Overall, it was a good stay. The hotel amenities are very good, with Restaurants, pools, bar and very friendly staff. I was disappointed with the room. The doors on the 8th floor all need to have their hinges fixed to avoid slamming, as it was quite disturbing at night. The furniture has more wear and tear than I was expecting. We arrived on December 23, 2012, with 3 teenagers in tow. We all were impressed by the pretty lobby. We booked two rooms,each with 2 queen beds. In order to have both rooms on the same floor, we had to stay in a room with a king sized bed (the other room was with 2 beds). We had to wait for a few hours for one room to be ready. We were on the fourth […] floor. At night, we could hear the music from the lobby. The rooms were clean on arrival. One night I had to call for washclothes. Over 20 minutes later they arrived. Was there for New Years....Great location which allows you to walk to numerous restaurants with great food for a lot less than the hotel restaurants. the location is excellent-with its own beach. It is within walking distance of some amazing restaurants and a few shops. I cannot express how friendly and helpful the staff are- from bartenders to the bell hops. The pool area/courtyard is very pretty and one of the hot tubs was right next to our room!

La Concha is definitely a very nice, modern hotel. The pools and pool areas were very nice. The beach was pleasant, but the ocean was a little too rough for casual swimming. Perla is a beautiful restaurant and the food was delicious- a great experience all around! We specifically appreciated all of the help from Kristina, Francisco, and Victor- it really made our stay all the better! If you enjoy going to bed on the earlier side, you might want to consider a room with a balcony on the "newer" side of the hotel, as these rooms are reportedly further away from the weekend night action, which WILL keep you up! The experience was great from the start, as you arrive from your taxi to a very welcoming Felix, who has a lot of energy and always willing to help. The hotel staff was always very friendly, including the front desk, the bartenders and all wait staff and the cleaning crew. I enjoyed both the pool and the beach as well as a couple excursions around the […] area. On the first day, my girlfriend and I walked into Old San Juan which was a nice 3 mile walk and we definitely felt safe. On another day we rented a car and drove to Fajardo to catch a ferry to Vieques. We used our free excursion from booking through Expedia to do the Zipline tour, which was amazing and I would highly recommend it. If you are eating at the hotel, I would definitely recommend the sliders from the bar, they were delicious. As some other reviewers have commented, just behind the hotel there is a Ben and Jerry's which serves breakfast and lunch, a better and cheaper alternative. There are many great restaurants in the area that are awesome. I just used Yelp and I try anything 4 stars or higher and always have a great meal. Lastly, if you like craft beer like I do, then visit "Small Bar" across the street from the hotel. They have a great selection of craft beer. You won't be disappointed with this hotel, we had a wonderful experience. Läs mer

While some of the hotel furniture looks slightly worse for wear, I did have a very comfortable stay. The hotel staff were very friendly, and willing to help with whatever requests were made. I only stayed for 2 nights, but it was well worth the money spent to just get away for the weekend. While the hotel has a lot of ammenities, do not be afraid to venture out into the town and experience the nightlife and people that live in this beautiful place. During my stay here, it rained in the morning, but quickly cleared up with the rising sun. The beach water was extremely warm even in the early morning hours. Prepare for humidity during December. Couldn't have asked for more considering I left cold New York weather for a short trip to a warm, friendly atmosphere. This hotel also has a dress code that sets it apart from most hotels. We loved this hotel! Finished our honeymoon with a short two day stay. The main floor lounge was swanky, W-esque style! Fun to have a casino, great food options, fun to have a casino, several pretty pools, great outdoor ambience and eating area, and great spot on beach! Highly recommend this hotel!
