Ett bra hotell, stannar gärna där på nytt. Det enda som inte fungerade var TV, det var en del kanaler som inte fungerade. Det var lungt och skönt, inget ljud och störninga. Ville man äta god mat så var det ett halvt kvarter till en massa bra matställen, bra pris. Åt en av mina bättre middagar på lång tid i närheten. Promenadavstånd till centrum, dock inte med packning. 30 AUS dollar ca för TAXi till inrikesflyget, ca 20-30 minuter,18 AUS dollar med shuttelbus, 15-2 timmar.

Scarborough är en av Perths bästa stränder och ligger 14 kilometer nordväst om stadens centrum. Den har länge förknippats med vattensporter, och i synnerhet surfing. På amfiteatern som ligger en bit ifrån stranden håller man ofta sportevenemang, t.ex. National Surf Life Saving-mästerskapen. Denna förort karakteriseras av överdådiga hus och många brittiska immigranter, och det ligger kaféer och restauranger längs hela strandkanten.

"Pretty on the Surface"
The staff were fantastic. The hotel was nicely set out. I booked a spa room which was quite expensive for the 2 nights. We could not get the shower to work properly. When we turned the hot water on the water hammer was so bad we had to turn it off again. That was not so bad becasue we did eventually work out how to stop it from happening .However, nothing […] was ever open. The pool area did not open until 9am and then was closed by 7pm which is ridiculous on a scorching hot weekend. The bar did not open until 6pm both nights we were there and there was no where on site to get food or drinks during the day.We could not even get a drink by the pool. Not even a glass of water without going back to the room. We thought we would just veg out by the pool all day; swim and read. sounds great.right? Unfortunately we had to leave the resort to go and find lunch and a drink. This alone would make me think twice about going there again. No wonder tourists think that Australia is expensive. Had a great stay! Very comfortable and love the design of the hotel. Even though we were off the main road, the hotel was very quiet and relaxing. Love that it was walking distance to the beach and lots of shops and cafes and bars. Most comfortable bed EVER! We arrived after midnight and the night staff girl was awesome. Very welcoming. The girl the […] next morning... not so much. We would stay again next time we're in Perth - we loved being by the beach rather than in the city. "WAY OVER PRICED"
the food was very unsatisfactory... prebooked breakfast at front desk to get "special" rate but was not passed on to kitchen staff ... paid cash for breakfast and then found that they had also charged it to our room. Asked for a late checkout on our last day and for $50 we got an extra 3 hours only to have the staff banging on the door at 11 o'clock […] instead of 1 o'clock. This is a pretty good hotel to stay at but, with a little work, if could be much better. Putting aside the breakfast issue, the car park has enough bays for guests but the staff do not appear to act against cars that are parked across two bays. Curtains in our bedroom allowed in a lot of light first thing in the morning, so a long sleep in simply isn't […] possible.
