Jag upplevde hotelet som positivt under min vistelse, trevligt bemötande från personalen och helt och rent och man har alla sevärdheter inom gångavstånd. Om det är något att anmärka på så var det den närliggande nattklubben som hördes nattetid, i övrigt uppfyllde hotelet mina förväntningar på vistelsen. Jag skulle absolut boka hotelet igen om jag skall åka till Sofia i framtiden, ett bra och prisvärt hotel helt enkelt!

"unexpected well"

"Mature couple reccommend"
This hotel is very close to the airport, is very comfortable and excellent value for money with professional and helpful staff with an splendid breakfast included. Also included in our price was a mini bar. There is a walkway nearby to the Shopping Mall across the road which has a wide variety of shops and restaurants. "friendly staff"
thanks for the wonderful staff - they were very professional and friendly. The rooms were generally clean but the air condition was spewing dusty air so I didn't use it much. Think they haven't done their cleaning of the systems yet for that. Its next to the highway so if you're a light sleeper - sleeping with the window open might not be an option […] for you. Good location for the airport, which is only 5-10 minutes drive away. But not a fun hotel for enjyong Sofia. It's in a suburb of the city and is fairly isolated from the city. Regardingthe hotel itselof, the staff are efficient and very helpful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. One very monor problem is putting the door card in to the socker […] to turn th lights on. In most hotels, there is a basic light that goes on without the card so that you can see your way. "Good quality hotel, excellent value."
Hotel is in a good location, albeit can be a little bit noisy, the sound-proofing of the hotel exterior and on the floors could be better. The food was a little on the chilly on the buffet so i would go a la carte, next time. The hotel room was excellent, the free wifi had good coverage. "A perfect stay"
Stayed here for 3 nights recently and found everything to be excellent. Rooms were clean, modern and inviting, staff were all tentive and spoke good English. The restaurant was very comfortable and served a varied breakfast and the evening dinner menu was interesting and tasty. This is the second time I have stayed at the hotel. On both occassions I have been extremely satisfied with the service and attention given by the staff. I had to leave early in the morning to catch my flight and I was surprised when reception handed over a pre-packed breakfast. "The Metropolitan Hotel Sofia - close to the airpor"
This was our second stay at the Metropolitan. The first time we stayed (May 11) we attended a Wedding Reception in the hotel restaurant and we very impressed by the food and the service. This time was just a quick passing through, we were barely there 12 hours. Another wedding was going on in the restaurant so we went to the bar off the main lobby. […] To our surprise we were offered the full restaurant menu in the bar. The steaks were excellent, cooked to perfection and washed down with a nice Bulgarian Merlot. Next morning the restaurant had been re-set ready for the breakfast buffet (included in the tariff) complete with omelette cooking station and eggs to order. The rooms are very modern and includes free wireless Internet. The staff are helpful and friendly and all seem to speak excellent English. The airport shuttle departs on the half hour in nice Mercedes Benz vans. Airport is barely 10 minutes away. Overall a nice hotel and will be our choice whenever we need a night stopover in Sofia. "Fint hotell, men hadde andre forventninger"
Ut fra det som vi fikk oppgitt på hotels.com, forventet vi frokost inkludert, nærhet til sentrum og fri transport til/fra flyplass. Dette var ikke inkludert i det som var bestilt til hotellet. Hotellet lå ganske langt fra sentrum, og krever mye taxikjøring til fra sentrum. Ut over dette var det et flott hotell med god service, og hotellet ga oss i alle […] fall gratis retur til flyplassen. "Hotel Metropolitan Sofia Bulgaria"
Good hotel, brand new. Good service, only 3-5 km away from airport. Food Ok My room faced the highway but noise insulation is good. Access is a bit tricky with a car (I had to do a U turn in a place where this might have been prohibited). They have a shuttle bus to the airport every 30 minutes. J'avais choisi le Metropolitain en raison de sa proximité avec l'aéroport, c'est l'idéal, il est à 8 minutes. Pour le reste, rien à redire. C'est propre, beau, neuf...
