Bra promedavstånd till allt. Frukosten var bra. Personalen är riktigt bra, vi fick fel rum först men det rättade till sig väldigt snabbt. När det gäller rummen så är det ingen större fel på renligheten men titta inte under sängarna!!!! Eller gör det och påpeka direkt, vi upptäckte det när vi skulle åka hem. Summa: Ett bra medelklass hotell värt sitt pris.

Det var jättebra läge, nära centrum, på gåavstånd till gamla stan,nära tunnelbana. Mycket hjälpsam personal. För min del som inte kan så bra engelska var det guldvärd att de kunde ryska. Hotellet är mycket vackert och trivsamt. Bra frukost med variationer. Bara positiva upplevelser, jag ger den högsta betyg.

Prag grundades 1348 av den tysk-romerska kejsaren Karl IV och fick sin nuvarande form under 1800-talet. Redan på 1300-talet samlades stadens hantverkare och köpmän i den nya stadsdelen. rums storlek på 6 våning var inte alls det vad som var på bilder. Hiss var bara till 5 våning. Rums städning var ej ok pga att de bytte inte lakan varje dag o bara gjorde ordning. kudden var inte alls bra o obekväm. "Green Garden - A pleasant stay close to Prague 1."
You can easily go to the old town from here. If you are visiting Charles University its a 5 minute walk from here. The only minor minus with this hotel is that the ambulances often use the road outside the hotel so if you get a room facing outwards to the road can the ambulance bother you a bit. "Underbar service"
Efter att ha varit på olika platser i Europa och blivit blåsta på det ena eller det andra, eller efter att inte fått det man tänkt sig, blev denna resa och hotell något helt annat. Hotellet har en fantastiskt trevlig personal. Som exempel på service kan jag ge bartendern i baren på bottenvåningen. Han som jobbade denna kväll då vi satt och tittade […] på Arsenal - Milan visste verkligen vad service är. Jag kände inte för att dricka öl eller annan alkohol och frågade om de hade Coca Cola. Tyvärr hade de bara Pepsi. Då frågade jag efter Fanta. Fanns inte heller. Men då nickade han bara, höjde ett finger i en gest som visade "ett ögonblick... jag fixar". Fram drog han en Coca Cola-flaska. Hans egen flaska han har till jobbet. Hällde upp i ett glas med is och gav mig utan kostnad. DET är service. Alltid leende och trevlig personal. Maten var även den väldigt god på hotellet. Och vi testade roomservice med mat till rummet, vilken även den var perfekt. T.o.m. räkningen stämde på sista öret för roomservice och annat när vi skulle åka hem. Rummet var bekvämt. Sköna sängar... värmeslingor i golvet på toaletten/duschen. Kaklat och fint. Läget på hotellet är centralt. För att gå till gamla stan tar det kanske 10 min. Inte lång tid alls. Och om man inte orkar gå finns spårvagn. Bra information om allt möjligt finns i receptionen. Frukosten är som man förväntar sig av ett hotell av denna klass. Det finns allt möjligt att äta. Det enda vi reagerade på var det mörka brödet som smakade konstigt. Enda nackdelen med läget på hotellet är att det är mycket trafik utanför. Men det störde dock inte så mycket in till rummet eftersom det är hyffsat isolerat. Om man är lättstörd av sirener kan det dock bli besvärligt. För sirener hörde man vart 10:e minut... dygnet runt. Allt som allt är vi överväldigande nöjda med hotellet och vistelsen där. "Prague with friends"
Room was very clean and in a nice neighborhood. A little farther than I expected from the central shopping area (15-20 minute walk), but it was cold and it might not be so bad in summer, and the metro is only 5 minutes away. We prefer to walk to take in the sights. From this hotel, we walked to and across the Charles Bridge and back. Dominique at the […] front desk was fantastic! Friendly and very helpful with places to eat, how to get there and what to see. Breakfast was satisfactory, but not great. The staff at breakfast made it nice. No lotion in the room, so bring it with you if you have dry skin. Beds (two twins) were a bit old, but we were out a lot so we slept fine. Slow lift, but it's also to be expected in an old hotel. "Good Hotel"
The hotel is in a great location. 5 min walk from the tram. 10 min to the national museum and 20 min walk to the old town. The staff is very friendly and speaks English. "Best value in recent memory"
In the last 10 years, I have bothered to write maybe two or three reviews....only when I'm completely blown away by an unusually good experience and good value. Being from the U.S., I get irritated quickly when hotels screw up simple things, like no shower curtain (so water flies everywhere), or a/c controls that you need a manual to figure out, or […] a TV that's 90 off to the side of the bed. Everything in this hotel made sense and I have absolutely nothing negative to say. The price just made it that much better. The staff was as nice as I've ever come across and the location was just 7-10 minutes from the heart of Old Town. Perfectly quiet. Surprisingly inexpensive for what I was provided. The staff is really friendly at the reception, restaurant and room service, you exchange Euros in place, the rate is not that bad, the bed was amazingly confortable, the bathroom had the floor heated, there is tea and coffee ready ready to be made in the room with a portable water boiler, the restaurant has a good menu and the prices are reasonable, […] the location is actually pretty good, in a good neighbourhood and close to the city centre, I definitely recommend this room to anyone going to Prague! I didn't have a bad experience at the Green Garden, but there are a lot more convenient hotels in downtown Prague. I wasn't expecting parking to be such an issue, but it was. In the end, reception arranged for valet parking for 20 EUR. I didn't have much choice. The hotel itself is about a 15 minute walk from Wenceslas Square. "Top Praha Hotel"
Four nights in an excellent European hotel. Wonderful and helpful English speaking staff. Hotel restaurant has charm and a tasty menu, ( ask about piano days)... the outdoor patio is relaxing, should one chose to have cocktails or meals served. For breakfast, you have a large selection of meals. Subway is about two short blocks, also one of the Hop-on-Hop-off […] buses. Train station is one stop by metro. The city bus stop is also close. There is a good selection of resturants nearby. Rooms are very clean, comfortable, and have an Old World charm to them. WiFi always worked very well. Would stay at the Green Garden when in Praha. We stayed for 4 nights with another couple. We all found this Hotel great. Clean throughout and rooms and all public areas pleasantly furnished. When we had a problem openeing our safe it was attended to straight away. "Great value for the money!"
Green Garden Hotel is clean, well maintained hotel. The room was comfortable with room to store luggage and backpacks, while maintaining ample floor space to walk around bed and to the shower. Nice additions were the in room safe and make-up/shaving mirror in the bath. We were on the top floor which required walking up one flight of stairs, however, […] this was not an issue for us. The view from our window across the Old Town and Lower Quarter to Prague Castle was outstanding. The staff was friendly and helpful, and like most service employees in Prague, spoke perfect English. The included breakfast buffet was delicious and catered to a variety of tastes. There is a small bar that it convenient for an afternoon expresso or early evening cocktail. We did not try the hotel resaurant. The hotel is located a short walk from the subway. Prague's subway is very basic and super easy to navigate with stops at all major attractions. Buy the unlimited daily transport pass, it works for train, bus and tram. Good value. The neighborhood is quiet in the evening and feels safe. We slept with the windows open and were not disturbed. "Perfect hotel for a Prague City Break"
The hotel was immaculately clean and the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately we were only staying for a couple of nights so did not have time to eat in their restaurant as we wanted to see Prague at night, but breakfast was fantastic - lots to choose from and all fresh. Excellent hotel and staff very friendly. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Only complaint was no bath to soak in when returning from our daily walks of Prague but shower was very good. The Green Garden is really good value for the money; the rooms are nicely furnished, high ceilings, clean with modern bathrooms, mini bar, tea and kettles for the brits (supply your own coffee) and small tvs with one station in each language. The breakfast buffets and cooked breakfasts are wonderful, the receptionist and hotel staff were friendly and […] helpful and the bar and restaurant were of a really high quality in keeping with the character of the hotel - ie, wooden salon bar with tables and chairs and music tv and pillared restaurant under a glass roof with piano music at the weekend.The only downside is that it is a little bit of a hike to get into any places of interest and not convienent if you are the type who likes to pop home for a rest after lunch. Being on the main road into the city, it can be noisey at night and for couples, you probably would want to take a car into the city at night if eating out rather than walk down the slighty shabby main road to the metro. If you can ignore the appalling artwork this is a perfectly good little hotel. The rooms we had was a double room on the top floor and had all the usual conveniences - minibar, TV (small portable), tea (no coffee!) making facilities. The hotel was only 5 minutes walk from the Metro and Tram Station and also within a 10 minute walk to the city centre. We had a Superior room, which was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The hotel restaurant was very good (in a beautiful indoor garden setting), and we ate in 4 times during our stay, and on each occassion the meal was excellent. […] Breakfast's were also very good. There was also a very good sauna and steam room. Because we were there in November it wasn't too busy, but price was a lot cheaper, and we would recommend going at this time of year, because it was very comfortable walking weather, not too hot and not too cold. Our flights meant carrying luggage around until check in, one e-mail and i recieved one back to say the luggage room was available until the room was ready , same when we left we it so nice not to have to worry . The bedroom was bigger than expected - very attractive decor and lovely bathroom. There is a tiny TV set that you can barely see from the bed. The bed was not a queen bed as expected - two single beds put together. If you lie in the middle of the bed, the two mattresses begin to separate! There's a safe for your valuables, with finger print recognition […] locking - very neat! Breakfast was nice - cereal, fruit, eggs and bacon.
