Breakfast Bar could have used a little more attention but overall had a good experience

Clerk not very friendly. Lamps not plugged in (had to move nightstand to plug in). No stopper for tub or washcloths . Was given one but it did not fit the tub so I had to use one of the washcloths she brought me. Do not have a designated floor for pets. Have always enjoyed staying at Laquinta but never again at this one!

This hotel was very clean, and comfortable. The staff took care of our needs, TV channel list, quick check-in and check-out, and kept the food supplied at breakfast. Inside was very well maintained. However, the outside flower beds were full of 4 feet tall weeds that really detract from the overall appearance. They really need a gardener. Having wifi or some type of internet service is critical while I'm traveling. I was out of town on business, but could not work from the hotel I could because their wifi was down, When I checked in they didn't bother to tell me this. After I struggled to get started & didn't succeed I called the front desk. They said a technician would be out tomorrow […] to fix it. Tomorrow came & I around 7pm I called the front desk & they told me that they didn't know when the manager was going to call someone out & get it fixed. I spent the rest of my night hanging out at the Starbuck's so that I could get some work done. Later, I found out that they are in bankruptcy proceedings, so they probably just didn't bother paying the bill. I will never stay there again. Läs mer

hotel borene was not good. first room, a/c did not work, they moved us to another room. 2nd room. a/c did work but drained water into floor, no other room available so we walked on wet carpet. had two nights reseved stayed one.

when i arrived and went to put some leftovers in the fridge.theree were already some there from a previous guest,And had apparently there quiet some time. I left them there and informed the housekeeper on my floor.to my amazement they were still there that evening.And when i opened the refigerator door the fridge fell out of the cabinet onto my food t […] because of a missing leg,,wasnt pleased with my stay at all. The hotel was nice, clean and fairly new. We had no problems staying here. The staff were friendly, although they looked tired. The young lady at the desk gave us some good advice on restaurant locations. When we got up the next morning a car parked next to ours had their driver's window busted out. There was a cord laying in the front seat that looked […] like it went to an ipod. So we assumed someone walking by saw it, busted the window, grabbed it and ran. Fortunately nothing happened to our vehicle, unfortunately theirs was a brand new car. There was a policeman there and I don't know what the outcome was. Läs mer

When checking in, I had to wait almost 5 minutes for a clerk to appear at the front desk. This doesn't sound like a big deal, but after a long day of travel, standing and waiting for a clerk wasn't appreciated. Also, the air-conditioner in the room barely kept us cool. The window curtains blocked the vents, so I had to prop pillows against the curtains […] in the window to clear the air path. That helped a little but not much. On a positive note, the morning staff was accessible and very helpful. They helped me send a fax and watched for the response fax. Läs mer

I had to stay at this La Quinta location on Official Government Travel. The staff was nice enough, but the hotel was far from it. The building seemed a bit in disrepair and there was a strange smell throughout the hotel. The air conditioning systems seemed a bit on the fritz which is not good in a hot and humid environment. The entire hotel is non-smoking […] which was a plus, but the strange smell seemed to eminate from the fact that there was smoking allowed and the hotel made no effort to clean it. The "promised breakfast" ended up being coffee... if the hotel did indeed have any other items offered between their 6 am to 9 am breakfast time, they made no effort to restock. Wouldn't stay at this hotel again... I probably should have slept in my car. Läs mer

Hotel was very nice and would have been rated 5 stars, BUT breakfast was terrible...cold gravy...cold eggs....just plain bad. Room was nice and staff was nice.Bed was very comfy!

I didn't know I was going to need a room until the last minute. Usually when you do that you get the bottom of the barrel. Not this time though!! Reserved with Hotel.com, walked in the next day and told her my name and was treated kindly and professionally. The room was great. It was just down the highway from the turnoff to my destination. It was perfect. […] My kiddos loved the breakfast and I loved getting ready for the day while they ate. It was perfect!!!! Läs mer

Hotel was a quality place, only a coupe of minor complaints: the shower curtain was installed too far into the tub, so you couldn't get away from the curtain during your shower, and we saw a bug - just one, like a baby roach. Other than that, the place was fine. The pool is outside so no swimming in March but it is a great location if you are headed […] to Fiesta Texas. A short hop down the interstate and you exit right into the front gates. Staff seemed fine, but we only stayed one night. Neighborhood was okay, the hotel was backed right up to a little suburban neighborhood, so our view out the back side of the hotel was people's backyards. It is kinda difficult to get to because you have to pass it by a half a mile before turning around and coming back to it. I do recommend this hotel, good location and nice facility, but skip the Tin Roof Steakhouse, it was waaayyyy overrated. Läs mer

Good location, minutes from Fiesta TX and Rim/LaCantera shopping. Quiet location, nice staff. Breakfast was just OK. Good value for the money. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved this hotel. It was super clean. The rooms were lovely. The bed was like a cloud. The staff was great too. It was a joy staying here.

We relocated to this hotel after a bad stay at a local bed and breakfast. This hotel is great! We had a very comfortable stay with a hot breakfast in the morning. We will be returning the next tim we're in town!

My entire family stayed at this hotel last weekend for a family get-together in Boerne. Check in was a breeze. The rooms are very nice and there is an elevator. (We were all on the 3rd floor.) The only thing I didn't like was that we were coming from one exit past John's Road in the wrong direction. The access road in front of the hotel is one way so […] I had to go to the next exit and turn around. Not that big of a deal I just didn't know. Breakfast was very good. They had cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, toast, muffins, lemon colaches, coffee, juice and milk. They ran out of milk while I was getting some for my cousin and I mentioned it to one of the girls at the front desk and they got some right away. Very nice! Läs mer

Room was very clean and comfortable. One thing I did not like was that when you turn the bathroom light on the fan comes on and stays on the entire time the light is on whether you want it to or not. It was very annoying. Otherwise the room was great with no other surprises.

Only negative is that there is nothing within walking distance of the hotel. Hotel looks newly built, thats probobly why i couldnt get it on my gps. Located right off the parkway. Everything was clean and staff was freiendly

This is nice, new, clean hotel. The beds are comfortable and the hotel is convenient to the lovely downtown district of Boerne where there are many quaint shops and areas of interest. I would recommend this hotel. Free Breakfast, too.

Great stay with good internet connectivity. Location is a bit hard to get to if not just coming from the freeway though.

The only negatives were that they only left one wash cloth both nights for the two of us in the room. The second negative was that we couldn't figure out how to set the thermostat on the AC to a temperature we wanted. It just kept showing either 62 or 68. It was like it had a mind of it's own.

There were no "bell boys" (or whatever is the politically correct title now)to assist two elderly ladies with limited mobility and capability of carrying luggage. One lady employee saw that we needed help, brought a cart and took our luggage upstairs. Someone at the desk asked if she was "off the clock?" When we were ready to leave the person at the […] desk didn't even know what we meant when we asked if there was a "bellboy." Finally, one housekeeping employee came with a cart and helped us. That's when we learned that employees MUST clock out and be OFF THE CLOCK if and when they help guests. That is NOT good service. I have never experienced that at another La Quinta or any other similar hotel. Läs mer

We had a great time in Boerne. The gentleman working the front desk was very gracious and friendly. He made us feel right at home and took care of our every request. The weather was really hot and the pool was fantastic.
