"Pleasant Stay"
Check in was quick and efficient. Room was very clean. Unfortunately, we did not get to use the pool or any other amenities, but they looked nice and well maintained. The breakfast was scrambled eggs, and biscuits and gravy. You had your choice of sweet rolls, bananas, toast, coffee or oatmeal. We will come back with our kids.Verifierad gästrecension

"can be better"

"Clean hotel within walking distance to the beach"
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However we could very easily hear our neighbors through the walls. The Wifi was free and adequate. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was satisfactory and fairly standard, but nothing spectacular.Verifierad gästrecension från Expedia
"Good family hotel"
We were touring and just stayed two nights. Room was comfortable with fridge and microwave. Breakfast was good and replenished frequently even towards the end. We made use of the washer dryer facilities and staff were really helpful and provided information and change. Unfortunately weather was not so good and there is not much to do in bad weather […] but return to the mainland and find a shopping mall! "Close to what we were planning to do on out trip."
We really enjoyed how quiet the room was; no outside noise or in the hallways by other guests. Great location to the beach and to the "dolphin watching" tour we took when we were there. Will definitely stay there again next time we are in South Padre Island.Verifierad gästrecension

Excellent hotel and great location. Very close to beach 3-5min walk.. no private beach access but the access was pretty nice and not crowded. Good breakfast, descent pool. Great for families. "Great time and good service."
Great time and great breakfasts. Could use some new pool furniture, but all in all ok. Had to wait for towels every day to be washed and restocked in rooms.....a little inconvienent since we went swimming every day and returned to no towels. suggest you take your own beach/pool towels, but they don't dry very well.Verifierad gästrecension
The hotel was great! Comfy beds, very clean. Staff was friendly. The kitchen staff worked hard to keep up with the breakfast crowds and restocking, and they really did well. The pool was clean. "Comfortable rooms but..."
The pool area was messy. The pool water was brown and dirty! The "beach access" was 3 blocks away. The breakfast was not a buffet. Other than all that, we did enjoy our room and room service.Verifierad gästrecension

The hotel staff were very cordial, helpful, professional, and accommodating! I would definitely stay here again however they do not allow pets and there is no direct access to the beach (however it is very close by and w/in walking distance). "GREAT but NO balconies"
The hotel was GREAT!! Would diffenently go back again. There's just one bad thing I have to say, there were no balconies!!! I kept wanting to go out to set our bathing suits an towels out to dry an kept forgetting there were no balconies. So we had to hang our clothes an towels all over the restroom. "Great deal, good hotel for family stay."
Holiday Inn Express Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was much better than what you get at most hotels and included pancakes and bisquits. It was about a three to five minute walk to the beach. The walk to the beach was short enough to where you can carry your cooler, chairs and umbrella without a whole lot of effort. My family and.I.felt.this.was.a.great.price,.for.great.accomodations, and.just.1 or 2 blocks.away.distance.from the.beach. Great service: anything we requested.we had.it.at.our.room within minutes. EVERYTHING was clean and organized. They have KIND workers, yet they.could smile.a little.bit.more. Perhaps, they.may have been busy...however their friendliness […] was evident. Great continental breakfast!!! A.big swimming pool and.they had.ample.parking lot. "Nice hotel with some exceptions"
This hotel is not as close to the beach as the picture depicts. Nice hotel...clean etc. but pull out sofa is very very uncomfortable as you can feel every spring. Also, not much soundproofing in ceiling as we could hear every footstep above us. Also, people above were very noisy until 2:30 in the morning for at least two of the nights...called the desk […] twice but they just said "they have alot of kids in the room so can't do anything about it." There are many good reasons this Holiday Inn Express is rated so highly. The hotel is clean and well maintained, friendly staff, comfortable rooms/beds. There is a short 1 block walk to the beach, but the front desk provided additional clean towels which we would drop off when we returned. This is a clean, comfortable hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The two main attractions for me were the jacuzzi - hot and relaxing - and the breakfast buffet, which included eggs, sausage, cinnamon buns, pancakes, bagles, yogurt, cereal, juice, milk and coffee.
