Mycket fräsch och hyggligt välutrustad lägenhet. Läget är mycket bra, gångavstånd till många sevärdeheter och många restauranger i närheter. Trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Ett plus är närheten till stationen på Alexanderplatz - mycket smidigt att ta tåget från flygplatsen och gå över gatan till hotellet. Det finns en mycket bra asiatisk restaurang i bottenvåningen. En välsorterad (men ganska dyr) livsmedelsaffär i botten på gellerian på andra sidan vägen som är öppen även på söndagar.

Fint, trevligt hotell med trevlig personal. Trafiken från vägen utanför kan i vissa rum vara lite störande men absolut ett väldigt prisvärt och fint hotell. Kan även rekommendera den kroatiska restaurangen som ligger mitt emot hotellet. Gratis Internet.

Vi var sex stycken som delade på sviten och fick därmed en perfekt umgängesmöjlighet och ett toppenboende i ett riktigt trevligt område i Berlin. Kan rekomendera kambenen rakt över gatan på "White Trash", samt "the Bird" en bit upp på gatan som serverade Berlins bästa hamburgare och kött. Hotellet hade trevlig personal och utifrån priset grymt fint rum.

Lungt ganska fint område dock utan större utbud av restauranger(Såg 3 i krokarna). Hotellet va toppen, bra standard och hotellet kan inte va mer än max 2 år gammalt. Allt såg ut som nytt. Bland de finare rum jag haft på hotell och jag reser väl måttligt. Nackdelen va sängarna, de funkar men är man van med en en mkt skön hemma så är det svårt att bli helt nöjd på hotell. Om man vill använda aircondition-apparaten så är tips att ta med öronproppar, om man är känslig för ljud(samma på alla hotell) Går att öppna fönstren annars, men det kan va nån enstaka lastbil som väcker än tidigt(stänger man fönster så hör man inget utifrån den annars mycket lugna gatan) Internet i lobbyn va gratis och mkt snabb(finns wifi o gratisdatorer att låna) -finns även uttag för nätverkskabel på rummen. Jag kan boka samma hotell igen, ligger bra till för mig som gillar att va nära centrum. Berlin är stort så man är ofta nära "centrum" vart man än bor dock.

Mitte, tidigare Östberlins centrum, delas i två delar av Unter den Linden. I Mitte ligger nästan alla Berlins främsta kyrkor, muséer, teatrar och minnesmärken. TV-tornet Fernsehturm vid Alexanderplatz har den bästa utsikten över Berlin. Bland muséerna finns Pergamon, Nationalgalleriet, Bode och det äldsta muséet Altes Museum. Rådhuset Rotes Rathaus och domkyrkan der Dom ligger nära muséerna och det finns ytterligare två kyrkor vid torget Gendarmenmarkt.

"Bra hotell i mellanstandardklass"
Billigt och centralt. Fräscha rum med smakfull inredning. Bra badrum. Dubbelsängen i trebäddsrum lite väl liten bara 140 cm bred. Frukost okej - lite liten för tysk standard. Ingen varm mat.

Hotellet ligger nära Mitte och på gångavstånd från flera U- och S-bahn-stationer. Efter en stabil och ganska välkomponerad frukost är det bara att ge sig ut i stadsvimlet.

hotellet var ok i förhållandet till priset.Dock blev jag överraskad att man inte kunde ordna en förlängningssladd som jag bad om i tre dagar. Eftersom jag var i behov av att använda en Cipupmaskin under sömnen.Detta kunde jag inte göra och medförde att min sömn blev sämre och dessutom störde min fru.
Mkt bra läge på hotellet, prisvärt. Parkering i hotellets källare pris därefter. Däremot en undermålig frukost enbart massa söta flakes till filen, marmelad, ost och 2 sorters korvar inga grönsaker, dåligt frukt (äpplen). Söt saft som kallas för jouice.

Bra och fräscht hotell. Trevlig personal som till skillnad från många andra tyskar kunde prata mycket bra engelska! Stort plus.
Rent och städat hotell med alla bekvämligheter man behöver. Perfekt läge på gåmgavstånd från Potsdamerplatz. Bra frukost.

Close to public multiple transportation options (less than 5 minute walk). Room was clean. The TV set is somewhat old (i.e. not flat screen) and program choices are limited. Hotel staff excellent and friendly service.

"PERFECT LOCATION"
This hotel is almost on the Berlin Wall or past wall. Situated in West Berlin, but across the street is East Berlin. Easy walk to Brandenburg Gate, then CheckPoint Charlie and views and pieces of the wall and historic points of interest. Also Holocaust Memorial within this area. Easy access to trains or metros from Hotel.
"I ordered non smoking and got a smoking room!"
While I ordered a non smoking by not ticking the smoking option, I got a stinky smoking room. The receptionist claimed that no preference was specified.

We had a great time in Berlin and the fact that this Holiday Inn offered a good comfort, the staff was very nice and helpful and it is very well located, made it even more worthwhile. It was also very reasonably priced! Stay at this hotel and you are guaranteed a great stay.

Good value for money, close to Potzdamer Platz about 1 kilometer. Grocery and good Italian Restaurant across from hotel. Parking a little high at 17 euro per day but inline with other big cities. Would be nice to have in room safe, if you use there safe deposit box at front desk they have a 500 euro lost key charge. Breakfast included a plus.

Hotel was very clean and comfy. The hotel may list A/C in the rooms, but it's not what an American would expect. I didn't have much control over temperature at all. Ended up just opening the window. Location is in Kreuzburg, so if you're looking for something near to the major historical sites in Berlin, it's a bit out of the way. "clean comfortable convenient completely adequate"
This property was perfect for our self arranged visit to Berlin. It's nothing fancy but there was nothing left wanting. There are 3 close-by transit connections and it's only a mile from Berlin must-sees. Breakfast was good. Convenient restaurant and food store across the street. "Good Hotel"
It is about 15 to 45 minutes walk to most of East Berlin attractions. Or, the hotel is located about 2 blocks from the train station. The hotel is nice and clean, and the staff was very helpful. The rooms are a bit smaller than most Holiday Inns, but was adequate size and comparable to many european hotels. The breakfast buffet was good.

Very nice modern hotel. I would have given five stars but there are no free internet in the rooms, Wifi connection is expensive. The staff were helpful !

While most people don't travel to Berlin for their hospitality...this hotel is no exception. Some of the staff we friendly enough, others were rather rude. For example, they ordered the guests around and trying to charge extra for things like non-ordered drinks and too much time in parking garage since paying (we parked over night and stayed less than […] 15 hours but after paying the 16 euros we didn't check out for half an hour and then had to pay for an additional hour). "Berlin Express Holiday Inn-good value for money"
This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this hotel. I like it because it offers inclusive breakfast in the price which is useful when with children especially. The room is always clean, the staff are polite and friendly, and the bed is comfortable. This time the room could do with a new coat of paint in places but it wasn't bad. It is on the route of the M41 bus which goes to the Hauptbahnhof.There is a Netto opposite which is very useful for stocking up with toiletries when travelling only with hand luggage. There is a good range of breakfast choices and it is all very relaxed. For me this is a comfortable base when iIm visiting family in Berlin. It is a 3 * so doesn't have lots of extras, but it does have tea/coffee making facilities which isn't always the norm on the continent. Läs mer

This hotel was a good location just about a 10 min walk is the heart of the city. Trainstation and all. Local buses are about a 5 mins walk. Lots of places to eat. Even two markets across the street from the hotel. City tour bus is a great way to see all the sights and you can get that bus by the trainstation which is a direct walk from the hotel. The […] parking for the hotel could be a little lower 16 euro a day and a little high you could find parking on the street for less. The rooms were nice however no place to keep anything cold or to warm anything up too bad. That would be a big selling tool since they have so many stores near by. Hotel was great, close to transport, walking distance to lots of the attractions, restaurants nearby, staff very helpfull but we weren't allowed extra pillows!! Plenty of food for breakfast (included)Would recommend and stay again on return visit.

The room was fine, good shower, quiet air conditioning and comfy beds. My daughter of 10 had sofa bed which was queen size-the room was large enough that we could leave the sofa bed made up for a few days and still have space to move around. Breakfast was ample and staff were very pleasant-they explained how to get back to airport, etc when asked. |The […] nearest u rail is Anhalter Bahnhof-about 300m and Potsdamer Platz is a very pleasant 15 minute walk. There is a good supermarket directly opposite the hotel but not much choice of restaurants in the vicinity. Its a15 minute walk to the Techno-museum, a great place to bring children for the day. We even found a great children's playground down the street from the hotel- would be a bit wary at night time though, of streets parallel to this. No tv movies were available on the night we asked and no real explanation but that was only minus. Läs mer

Hotel was okay typical Holiday Inn Express. Close to Potsdamer Platz and Brandenburg gate area. Great restaurant opposite good food at a good price. Just watch when you leave I ended up being charged for stay despite having paid Hotels.com in advance. I thought my credit card swipe was only in case I ran up charges. Everything was clean, neat and tidy with a great breakfast. Front counter were helpful. Located reasonably close to the berlin train system (200m) and walking distance of Potsdamer Platz and Brandenberg Gate.
"Bad staff, very unfriendly."
The room wasn't as expected, we had to purchase an additional one for our other travelers. Also, the room lock didn't work and the staff repeatedly assured me that it would. Staff was very unfriendly. Also the handle to the door in the bathroom was broken.
The location isn't very good, relative to being in the main areas however, the fee structure for the hotel is great and worth it. The neighboring restaurants and the buffet at the hotel are not very good - I would recommend finding elsewhere for meals. Rooms are small, compact but to the point. I travelled alone so I thought it was perfect for one person. […] Hotel was new and in good shape. Internet fees in the room are the best I have seen at any hotel anywhere yet. IT help not helpful because of language barriers and only know PC not MAC. I would highly recommend hotel, but keep in mind distance to main attractions. If you are okay with walking and subways or paying for expensive taxis this place is awesome value. Hotel says 8 km to Tegel, but it is atleast 40 minutes in traffic and 20 early morning. Hotel was excellent. Good location right by the subway and only a few minutes from check point charlie and many other attractions. Would definately recommend and stay here again!
