Hotell Holiday Inn SHARJAH - Sharjah

Overall we had good experience staying at this location. Staff was nice and friendly. Room was clean and well furnished as advertised. The only problem we had was the phone line in our room was dead. They could not fix it even after several attempts so we had to go out to public phone to make a call.

Need refurbish , need better staff . Building not suitable for 5 star hoter room neighbor smok getting in your room . Wasting time follow up maintenance work during your stay

good location , good price

I asked to get a bottle of water. The first impression that the one who has got my call was rude enough to say that this is chargeable. I wonder why he mentioned this although everyone who stays in hotels know this. The surprise was that the water validity was going to expire the day after i.e. it is almost expired. I called the room service and asked […] to see their manger. A man has come asking me to accept two choices: return my money or get a new one as replacement. I told him that I will mention this in the assessment form; his reaction started to be different and ask me to accept getting the new bottle of water with no fees which I accept. the other day and as my normal habit to a get a cup of coffee after my shower, I was suspending getting any thing has a liquid from this hotel which they might use the same or other similar expired liquid or water. I do not think I will do it again and be in this hotel. By the way, the reception was very pleasant and asks me to inform his manager which I did. The manager reaction was simple. He has just apologized. I can understand that his limitation is only to do so. Such a hotel with a big name must not have those mistakes. Läs mer

The hotel is not the fanciest 5-stars hotel but the best in terms of price and offered services. The check in was a breeze and that's maybe due to the fact that the it was a low season. The staff are polite, helpful and friendly and they offered to shift my room to the lake view side without me asking for it, having its own parking space in congested […] area is a real plus in Sharjah where parking becomes a nightmare. The standard room is spacious and equipped with all needed amenities, spotless cleanliness and suitable for singles or couples. The shocking thing is that a 5-stars hotel in UAE should be equipped with LCD or plasma TVs and not flat TVs that have problem with buzzing sound. Room service is quick and attentive but the food quality wasn't that great (sandwiches) (it was a one night stay so I can't judge the whole menu), and their laundry service is fine if it is not an urgency which costs AED19 for a single shirt ironing (if you are in urgency, then the hotel is surrounded with all sorts of shops and there are some laundries around the hotel "approx. 300m") The stay was comfortable and you have to keep in mind that it fits your need for business trip where you are not so concerned with luxury and care about basic services at high quality delivery. Please note that the hotel location is on the backside of King Faisal road just behind MAX building, I'm saying this because it was a hassle for me to find it thinking it was on the main st. And note that the hotel has no ATM machines inside it which is a downside if you need cash and you are out of it where you have to cross the street to the opposite side to find an ATM. Läs mer

Hotellin viisi tähteä ovat kyllä mielestäni törkeästi liioteltuja. Itse antaisin maksimissaan kolme tähteä. Sijainniltaan keskinkertainen...keskellä kaupunkia, mutta läheisen laguunin ympärillä kiertävälle kävelytielle alle kilometrin matka. Muutama isopi ostoskeskus kävelymatkan päässä. Huoneet perustasoa, siistit ja suuret...olisin odottanut saavani […] viiden tähden hotellissa kuitenkin jotain parempaa. Telkkari sellainen antiikkinen 25 tuumainen toosa jossa kuva näkyy lumisateen kera. Uima-allas pieni surkea lammikko hotellin katolla...kuvat valehtelee. Aamupala ihan ok, mutta ei erityisen hyvä. Hintatasoltaan tämä hotelli on aika edullinen, mutta uskoisin samalla hinnalla löytyvän parempaakin. Läs mer
